This probably isn't worth it but I'm bored and this kind of stuff is fun for me. I'm going to try and consolidate the info so you don't have to click through 31 out of order photos, you can just look for the stuff you want. I'll try and break it up in to categories.

Sylvanas and the Horde, the true story of BFA

"Who is the last boss of BFA?" Not really a final boss so to speak but the final encounter is saving Sylvanas(though it will require fighting her first) and resealing N'Zoth's prison.

Sylvanas lives. Turns out she was trying to save the world! "Sylvanas is doing all she can to stop N'Zoth from breaking from his prison. Though not all will be forgiven.

Talks of either Saurfang or Thrall dying to save Sylvanas. Both stage a revolution and put Baine on the 'throne' though she doesn't put up much of a fight as she's already off preparing for Nya'lotha by then.

The Alliance sort of got their revenge early due to the frosty reaction to the beginning of the expansion. We were going to leave Tyrande's retribution for 8.3 but people were a bit more impatient than we expected. Baine and Anduin will make peace and Sylvanas and her loyalists will go into hiding.

Lillian Voss is slated for the undead lead though they could see that being scrapped and replaced with Calia if the faction stuff is scrapped.

Old God Shit

Nya'lotha is 8.3. Larger than a normal zone. Wouldn't be surprised if it was cut in to 2-4 zones. Tallest zone yet.

Nya'lotha isn't in the sea, it's gateway is in the sea but Nya'loth is it's own plane of existence that will be transported over its gate in 8.3

9.0 and beyond

The focus on the next expansion will be around both the return of and rise of the dragonflights as a whole and dealing with the forces of Death. Elune will be a big part of the next expansion as a sort of aspect of Light that serves as a 'frenemy' who's allied with Death. The Kaldorei's faith is shaken asince she put into motion the events that lead to Sylvanas' reign and her "Blood War".

Plans for future expacs are new zones as opposed to revamping older stuff. "Map looks cluttered but it's not like a serious problem". Concept art for an area called "spawning grounds" looks good but is just that, concept art.

New expacs will have "yet again more hidden isles"

"Is 9.0 Light vs. Void with factions being split?" Ka'resh is slated for 10.0 though at this stage that could still change. Unlikely though since that story is coming.

"Could you list the ideas for future expacs" Dragon Isles + Shadowlands confirmed. K'aresh concept. Ancient Azeroth/time travel with elf-queen Azshara concept.

There's a few drastic changes coming in 9.0 but they're nothing like a WoW 2. Mostly leveling changes(sort of a blended ESO-style) and some faction changes being weighed. Some on my team were working on prototypes of how a faction merger would work systems-wise and how it could still allow for PVP using warmode.

3 expansions planned out, only one is beyond concept art right now.

Class Stuff

New Hero Class Tinker! Planned to start at 50(unclear if this is under new or current leveling system). Tank/Heal/DPS using Mail Armor. Tanks have 'power armor'(I read this as power armor like in the fallout series). DPS use stealth, bombs, mines and guns. Healers use healbots to heal in between damage dealing.

Class skins/Prestige class: Necromancer for Warlock. Dragonsworn for Druids. Dark Shaman for...well, Shaman. Later calls them "Prestige Classes" and labels them as a separate class. "It wouldn't make sense for a warlock to suddenly become a necromancer or a druid a dragonsworn" "There's a planned 'necromancer' prestige class for warlocks, though it'll just be a "skin" so to speak.

"Any plans for new specs to be added to existing classes?" No.

Allied Races

No High Elves

No Sethrak (RIP SNEKS)

"Feral Boar" race for Horde that uses Worgen skeleton. Hopefully not "wereboars" but doesn't know lore associated. They're not Quillboars.

Redeemed/Light Undead are Forsaken who have defected to the Alliance and been purified in the Light.

Next allied races are Vulpera and Mechagnomes(no shockers or even insider info needed there)

Game Design etc.

Level Squish is happening. "60 will be the level cap before 9.0. Once 9.0 hits, the "new" level cap will be 70.

Asked about BRD like dungeon or if it's "all M+ bait now" he said focus right now is M+ since everyone seems to like it.

No dance studio

Talks of loosening faction barriers so people can play with both sides or do quests for the other faction but he doubts it will go anywhere as it is just talk. Allow more interactions if War Mode is off. Orcs in SW, NE's in "horde" guilds, etc.

Hiji and Plunder Isle were to be introduced before Nazjatar but ended up being scrapped. Moira was going to play a large role but no one know who she is so it'd be pointless.

"Old world revamp when?" BFA. Darkshore and Arathi Highlands.

There's people working on player housing every year or so with a new prototype, it just never gets approved.

This "playing the patch" style we've had with seasons and each raid invalidating the last "isn't changing anytime soon since it keeps things fresh"

"Do you have any faith in WoW lasting any longer?" Absolutely. There's a lot of different paths that can be taken to secure its future.

Lore not pertaining to previous entries

Yrel will come back eventually(likely in the expansion following) but not before then.

Elune has made a bargain with the goddess of Death and granted Tyrande mega powers(even though Tyrande wanted to kill Sylvanas who is working for the goddess) and is doing all she can to both honor the bargain and not forsake her people.

"Is the death god supposed to be the Xe'ra of the Death Aspect?" No Clue.

Most employees don't know the name of the death god or the new expansion names. They aren't told more than they need to know.

Wrathion has been postponed repeatedly since the Dragon Isles has been on the backburner for a while now(and was originally supposed to come after WoD). He'll play a big role and I'd be surprised if it wasn't his voice on the reveal trailer when they film it.

Azshara does not die and is alive into 9.0

N'zoth is defeated by the end of 8.3, not dead forever though.

Murozond is the person that was trying to kill Chromie.

Blizzard the Company

Not everybody has love and a passion for the game they're working on. It's a job at the end of the day and most of them don't interact with others for the most part. Most things are done by passing notes and papers w/out words if there's any interaction at all.

Pretty much no one has pride in the games right now that I've talked to. It's just a job for us. Most of us don't even play the game. As far as I understand, it's even more so for those higher up.

Leaker is more excited for Elder Scrolls 6 more than anything.

No forced "Female Agenda" push in story/narrative. Roughly 1/3 of playerbase is female.

Person asked how many hires are diversity hires who suck at their job and they said 0% were diversity hires who suck.

When asked if Blizzard ripped off ideas from youtubers like Taliesin they replied that the youtubers haven't come up with anything new. They pass off old ideas as new ones. "Class skins" have been talked about forever and their 'list of allied races' were uninspired and could've been ripped off WoWPedia.

"Why are all of your games shit now?" People pay for it.

Blizzard employees don't get Blizzard games for free.

Doesn't see WoW going F2P anytime soon.
