Twinklies Testing

If this were to be a thing in any%, I theorize that this would be the fastest way to get to do twinklies:

1, After floor 2 warp you’d active the 3rd floor warp.

2. you wouldn’t shoot the stack open on first trip to floor 5

3. when going to early qc, instead of going directly to early qc, you’d split up near crushers

4. warp banjo to 3rd floor, pick up battery then open twinklies door

5. switch to kazooie, warp to 5th floor

6. shoot stack open, get jinjo with kazooie

7. do twinklies with kazooie

8. deathwarp as kazooie, do qc early

Floor 2 to warp:

1. Do floor 2 stuff, get move and stuff
2. run over to tintop notes

3. go down the hill, jump on box and leg spring up to floor 3

4. go toward warp pad, deathwarp

Time from leg spring to deathwarp w/floor 3: 47 seconds sloppily, could be 42-45 seconds estimate

w/o floor 3: 15 seconds

would cost: 32 seconds

Getting Banjo up to the boiler plant testing:

Two methods (from warp pad):

#1: damage boost after getting battery to hole then jump to boxes

#2: Run up hill jump up boxes:



Times (from warp to door)

1: > 1:00

2:  >44 seconds

2 would be fastest, I estimate it would cost roughly 40 seconds if done right

Banjo from boiler door to warping back to Kazooie: 27-28 seconds

Floor 4 Warp instead of QC early:

Floor 4 door to qc: 7 – 8 seconds

Running from floor 4 door to split of floor 4: 23 seconds, could be 20 seconds?

Running from split up to early qc: 17 (could be 15) seconds

Banjo from split to warp: 6 seconds

Kazooie from split to warp to floor 5: 9-10 seconds

Going to split because of twinklies then to early qc altogether: 50 seconds

Would cost 41-2 seconds at most roughly

Kazooie from opening twinklies to entering twinklies with jinjo:

Normal way of getting Jinjo according to Red_Jinjo’s timings:

        Smoke stack
        Flight pad - warp pad
        w - ~43 seconds
        w/o - ~14 seconds
        D - ~29 seconds

So just flying to warp pad after would be 14 seconds

Kazooie from warp pad to going in stack to getting the jinjo:18 seconds (15 if done fast

Jinjo to completing twinklies then deathwarp: 1:45 (could save 3 seconds)

Normal method w/o twinklies is roughly 43 seconds

14 + 15 + 1:45 = 2:14 this method.

2:14 - 43 seconds – 1:31 roughly. Meaning this route would cost 1 minute and 31 seconds.

Doing above without Jinjo:

From floor 5 warp to twinklies to deathwarp: 1:55 – 2:00

1:55 – 43 – 1:12ish-1:17 saved?

32 + 40 + 28 + 42 + 1:31

1 minute + 1:20 + 1:31 =  3:50? w/ stack jinjo Might have to retime things


w/o jinjo –32 + 40 + 28 + 42 + 1:15 = 3:30-335ish

Canary Mary in CCL testing:

CM2 in GGM (jinjo in rock – entrance portal to mumbo) time: 2:21? (might have been an extra cutscene supposed to be when you enter ccl)

For ggm testing I eggbarged the rock instead of bill drill for both

Jinjo rock to train portal to mumbo – 9 seconds

CM2 would cost 2:12 roughly

CM in CCL (from iceburg flight pad to wumbas) 1:20 (minus 3-5 seconds of error…)

Flight pad to wumbas w/o ccl – 7 seconds

CM in CCL costs 1:13 roughly

2:12 + 1:20 = 3:30

Canary Mary 2 + jinjo stack normally = 4:13

^ w/o jinjo stack = 3:40-45 ish

Basically, I think Twinklies would be faster just because it would save time on collecting the jinjo in the stack.
