Interesting little proposal you got here. Word gets out faster than you might think among us kinfolk, especially when one of the Fangs' boys disappears, shows back up and, oh look at that, he's a Garou now. It wasn't a random change, was it? I know just as well as anyone else that the higher-ups in the sept would have your head if this got to them too soon, but I know better than to spill your secrets to everyone. Maybe it's because I want a piece of what you're offering.

Before you start panicking, he hasn't gone around telling anyone who'll listen. I came to him after noticing he escaped punishment after all the fuss of catching him. I was just as ready to hate him as any of you were, sure. But then he told me what your pack had planned, all this business about turning the Skin Dancers into something worth keeping. It was genius! It's the sort of vicious pragmatism I admire about the sept leader, so of course it would have been some lowly pack, separated from having to keep up appearances, that would have the balls to try it.

It's something I really want to be a part of. Let's face it, I'm just a Kinfolk. I see all the same horrid shit you do, but I can't do a thing to change it. So I'm expected to sit on the sidelines and cheer you on, and make babies for you. I'd really rather not do that, especially the latter. If I'm going to participate in this war, I don't want to half-ass it. And if that means putting my life on the line, that's okay. If that means giving hope to kin that have it worse than I do, then all the better.

So my lips are sealed, but I'm still going to do my best to ensure that this little endeavor is a success. Whatever you need me to do to prove that I want this, I'll do it. It's not about getting the power, not really. I guess I've always just had a deep-seated need to make a difference. I like that idea, you see, of building something that'll last, and knowing that what I built really did change the direction of the lives of countless people, kin and Garou. Maybe I'm just proud, but your kind admire that, don't you?
