#PastebinMonday 08/31/2020 Finding the New Routine Edition

Hey guys, how’s it goin?

I'm still trying to establish the new routine, the new “normal,” now that I am fully employed again. I'd like to get back to a Friday/Saturday/Sunday schedule, depending on how I feel after work on Fridays. That said, there is a tournament starting next week that I need to finalize things for. As busy as I intend to be this week, I don't think I'm going to be all that settled down.

The only other thing that's been on my mind lately is, of all things, Duel Masters: Shadow of the Code for the GBA. When I get to thinking about games in this way, it usually leads to me doing a speedrun of it at some point. Last time I played through it, I finished the story in about 4 1/2 hours so I think there's the potential for a decent run, especially since you can create a custom starter deck at the very beginning. I've been frustrated with my flash cart, though (maybe because the battery has run dry), because this game, AND ONLY THIS GAME, will not save. I think I have to jump through extra hoops to get it to properly save. I will beat it again one day and I think I will speedrun it. If only the other Duel Masters games were just as speedrun-friendly... *glares at PS2 game*
