  1. [OUTPUT: Begin game?]
  2. >Begin game.
  3. A B Y S S A L O D D I T Y
  4. [OUTPUT: NEW GAME?]
  5. >NEW GAME
  6. [OUTPUT: Please select a character carefully. There's no going back after this. I suggest listing and observing them beforehand.]
  7. >list characters
  8. [OUTPUT: CHARACTER ROSTER: Ronaldo, Delta, Venator, Azure. Examine further for stats.]
  9. >Observe Ronaldo
  10. [OUTPUT: Ronaldo: 20 HP. POT: 15. WIT: 13. PER: 22. INV: Resonator Cannon, Gluon Attenuator, Datalog Cube. NOTES: Probably a conspiracy theorist.]
  11. >Observe Delta
  12. [OUTPUT: Delta: 10 HP. POT: 9. WIT: 23. PER: 18. INV: α-Bioschema, Vardiveig Holoscroll, Vitae Canister. NOTES: Pseudo-schizophrenic.]
  13. >Observe Venator
  14. [OUTPUT: Venator: 25 HP. POT: 24. WIT: 14. PER: 12. INV: Baroque Blade, Sanguine Keystone, Extraction Needle. NOTES: Vilebitten afflicted.]
  15. >Observe Azure
  16. [OUTPUT: Azure: 15 HP. POT: 14. WIT: 20. PER: 16. INV: Lapotron Power Core, Medkit x3, Water Vial. NOTES: Insecure neurotic insomniac. Total cinnamon roll though.]
  17. >Azure.
  18. [OUTPUT: G.S.S. Exsanguinator, The Void (Omicron Sector, Facet Nine). Your name is Azure █████. You are on board what is technically your private ship, though really you may or may not just have stolen it from the military after winning a gambling match. Point is, you have a problem, and you've got the mists of a pseudo-solution in the works. What will you do?]
  19. >examine pseudo-solution
  20. [OUTPUT: Don't be absurd! You don't have the thing at hand. It is just an idea. There's no way you could get your hands on the VOID SHARDS.]
  21. >Examine surroundings.
  22. [OUTPUT: You are on the bridge of your starship. The control panels are behind you, while the door, spare parts storage, drive hatch, and MYSTERIOUS TERMINAL are before you.]
  23. >examine MYSTERIOUS TERMINAL
  24. [OUTPUT: You poke the terminal warily. It shudders for a second, and then activates once more, playing the hit new single "Let Me Drive My Van (Into Your Heart)" on repeat.]
  25. [OUTPUT: Oh, right. This is the music player.]
  26. [OUTPUT: What will you do?]
  27. >Oh doG yes, turn up music player
  28. [OUTPUT: You turn the terminal up to full blast, and proceed to begin muttering to yourself quietly about the problems and solutions.]
  29. >turn up problems and solutions so that the audience can hear them
  30. [OUTPUT: "Oh, god. They're gonna kill me if I don't come back with a cure."]
  31. >think about where you can find VOID SHARDS
  32. [OUTPUT: You can find the VOID SHARDS in various undisclosed points across the Void.]
  33. >find mirror or other reflective surface
  34. [OUTPUT: You look in the window of your ship. Uh. It's just you. Nothing to write home about.]
  35. >describe yourself anyways, for the hell of it
  36. [OUTPUT: You decide to submit to the blue commands.]
  37. [OUTPUT: Ultimately, the only thing of note is that you are both not a member of the patriarchy, and possess hair of the blue variety.]
  38. [OUTPUT: What will you do?]
  39. >remember if you're human
  40. [OUTPUT: You're a human. You think.]
  41. [OUTPUT: You might also be a polymorphic sentient rock, but that's neither here nor there.]
  42. >Check ETA
  43. [OUTPUT: You check the ship's navicomputer. You've got about half an hour until estimated arrival.]
  44. [OUTPUT: Unless something absurd happens, like aliens invading the ship, you should be there on time.]
  45. >Wonder about prepartions
  46. >Find a weapon
  47. >Check ship for useful equipment
  48. [OUTPUT: You have a weapon! Your trusty Lapotron Power Core.]
  49. [OUTPUT: You both examine it, and recall its function. It is essentially a hydrokinetic enabler, possibly illegally modified to function on living bodies. It is mostly just a large amount of lapis biowire and azurite beneath a primarily corotite ring core.]
  50. >search ship for useful gear
  51. [OUTPUT: You've got what's already on you, as well as a few Gluon Destabilizers from the engine room. Those might come in handy.]
  52. >Think about the function of a Gluon Destabilizer.
  53. [OUTPUT: Ah, Gluon Destabilizers. Your good old internet friend DELTA used to love these. They impair the ability of gluons to uphold the strong nuclear force in a localized area, blowing atoms down into quarks.]
  54. >take
  55. [OUTPUT: You already have.]
  56. Note: Ooh, basically grenades then.
  57. >reminiscene about gambling
  58. >examine ship's weaponry
  59. [OUTPUT: Hmm. You check up on the Exsanguinator's weaponry. Standard G.M.F. ion cannon, along with several plasma turrets you designed yourself, and had built on the thing.]
  60. Note: Well, technically removing the strong nuclear force also releases a fuckton of energy.
  61. Note: The lower the level at which everything stops working, the bigger the explosion when it all comes crashing down
  62. [OUTPUT: Ah, your gambling days.]
  63. [OUTPUT: You recall when you got this ship. You won it from some guy. Must've been, like, Ando Calrissien, or something of the sort.]
  64. [OUTPUT: You can't remember quite who you got it from.]
  65. >check ship sensors, if there are any
  66. >question your skill of sabaac
  67. [OUTPUT: You're pretty bad at gambling, actually. You mostly won due to luck.]
  68. [OUTPUT: Ship sensor status: optimal.]
  69. >check if sensors show anything
  70. [OUTPUT: Sensors come up negative, save for one thing.]
  71. [OUTPUT: And, on that matter, a hiss from the control room alerts you to the fact that you are nearing the temple, and will exit stable travel mode in one minute.]
  72. >prepare to dock or such
  73. [OUTPUT: You safely touch down on the edge of the levitating temple megastructure.]
  74. [OUTPUT: It appears to be held up by pure inertia.]
  75. [OUTPUT: Before you can actually exit the ship, a bang echoes throughout the metal confines of the structure.]
  76. [OUTPUT: This is accompanied by the roars of the mentally unhinged.]
  77. >ready weapon
  78. [OUTPUT: Or possibly just a blood-drunk hunter.]
  79. >prepare to kick ass
  80. >Prepare for combat.
  81. >Retrieve water.
  82. [OUTPUT: You uncork your water vial.]
  83. [OUTPUT: Here we go, you suppose.]
  84. [OUTPUT: If you're being frank, you are quite terrified.]
  85. [OUTPUT: Another bang shakes the entirely of the ship.]
  86. [OUTPUT: Then, a screeching noise, as metal is torn from metal. The landing hatch has been torn open. A dark shape enters the vessel.]
  87. >Punch shape wıth water
  88. >Crush shape with own internal fluids
  89. [OUTPUT: You can't do that! You'd have to definitively engage in combat first!]
  90. >Engage in combat THEN crush it with it's own internal fluids
  91. [OUTPUT: You ready your Lapotron Power Core.]
  92. [OUTPUT: ASSAULT / UTILIZE / DEFEND / ABSCOND / OBSERVE]
  93. >Utilize
  94. >utilize
  95. >Observe
  96. >observe
  97. [OUTPUT: You search your inventory for something to utilize. You've got the deadly destabilizers, and the medkits, though you have full health.]
  98. >observe
  99. [OUTPUT: You observe the scene.]
  100. [OUTPUT: Lupine Beast: 3/3 HP. NOTES: Covered in bloodstained entrails. An eldritch substance mars the solid red stains and matted fur of the creature.]
  101. assault
  102. >assault
  103. [OUTPUT: You ready yourself to assault. But, how will you do it?]
  104. >Assault by crushing it with the assorted fluids within and on its body
  105. [OUTPUT: You manage to compress the thing's own blood into itself. It howls in rage.]
  106. [OUTPUT: ENEMY TURN.]
  107. [OUTPUT: The Lupine Beast leaps an incredible ten yards to meet you, and slashes into you. Luckily, it only hits you in the arm, but you scream out in pain nonetheless, and leap back.]
  108. [OUTPUT: Your own blood drips onto the floor.]
  109. >Assault: Using your hydrokinesis, take control of the water in two halves of its body and pull it in different directions, hopefully tearing said enemy in half.
  110. [OUTPUT: You really start to think it is a bad time for the full blast "Let Me Drive My Van (Into Your Heart)."]
  111. [OUTPUT: With some deal of psionic stress on yourself, you manage to grab hold of the liquid within the beast definitively. However, in the time it took, the creature has lunged at you. You have a split second to react.]
  112. >Draw your own free water and form a spike to impale it with its own momentum
  113. [OUTPUT: The Lupine Beast suddenly lets out a squeal, mere inches away from you. Not only have you impaled it, but you managed to carry out your initial plan, and bisect it with its own fluids as well.]
  114. [OUTPUT: It drops to the floor, which is quickly being stained with both your blood and that of your slain opponent.]
  115. [OUTPUT: You have three medkits.]
  116. >check health
  117. [OUTPUT: Status effect: Bleeding.]
  118. [OUTPUT: Azure: 11/15 HP.]
  119. >examine contents of medkit
  120. [OUTPUT: It's a medkit, dunkass. Just take out the syringe of pale green fluid, stick it into your arm, and you're set. Probably.]
  121. [OUTPUT: Would you like to use a medkit?]
  122. [OUTPUT: Azure: 15/15 HP.]
  123. >use medkit
  124. [OUTPUT: Medkits: 2.]
  125. [OUTPUT: What now? The lupine corpse quivers before you, unsearched.]
  126. >Search corpse.
  127. >search lupine corpse
  128. >wait, why is it quivering?
  129. [OUTPUT: Oh god. You hate this bit so much. You shudder a little, before sticking your hand into one of the bisected halves.]
  130. You got a lupine spleen!
  131. [OUTPUT: Rigor mortis hasn't quite set in.]
  132. [OUTPUT: You feel something incredibly smooth about where the dark stain of eldritch fluid was on the surface of the creature? Pull it out?
  133. >Yes?
  134. [OUTPUT: You pull out the strange object.
  135. [OUTPUT: Oh my god. There's no way... it can't be.
  136. [OUTPUT: 1/4]
  137. [OUTPUT: Well, then. Uh. The eldritch stain upon the halves of the bisected lupine horror fade into nothing upon the extraction of the... object.]
  138. [OUTPUT: Would you like to save your game?]
  139. >y
  140. [OUTPUT: Game saved and quit successfully. Have a nice day.]
