- make sure you leave the flowers while flying asap as deku flying is even slower than human walking forward
- make sure you walk into the clocktower door, not spin
- personally i think the sidehop to the flower is dumb because of the camera, however you can try a different direction instead of straight right
- its good that you spun to the top of the inn door, back walking with a bad angle is not worth it
- sidehop down the inn stairs, target > hold up/up-left and press A twice
- when reading the stories on grandma, when you get the long series of text after selecting the story you can press b then mash A, this is because this type of text is called quick text and you go through it faster than than mashing b (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65cilUmZPSo)
- sidehops out of the inn are good but you started them when the camera fixed, to get the full timesave you want to hold up then convert to right so you sidehop right after you leave grandma
- personally i always walk forward when entering east clock town so i dont risk talking to the kid, i walk forward then see where he is at and determine whether i do 2-3 spins
- when going to hit skull kid with your bubble try to target and walk forward while charging the bubble, right after you release you can spin forward
