  1. NIDDHOGG FIGHT -- PHASE ONE
  2. ===========================
  3.
  4. Niddhogg will be before you, tank with the highest HP should tank the boss, no matter what job they are. Tank should never leave tank stance, no matter what due to high amount of tank buster usage by the boss. During the first phase, nidhogg will use various attacks:
  5.
  6. -- Eyes (Boss In Arena)
  7. Eye Area of Effects should be avoided asap, then return under Nidhogg for the two line AoEs.
  8.
  9. -- Eyes (Boss Out of Arena)
  10. Eye area should be avoided, away from where Nidhogg is on the side of the arena.
  11.
  12. -- Frontal Conial
  13. Like in The Aery, Nidhogg has a frontal unavoidable instant conial, which can kill casters immediately. If you have a scholar in your team, tell them to stand at the side of nidhogg, rather than anywhere in a cone in front of him. Or tell them to place Eos in the middle.
  14.
  15. NIDDHOGG FIGHT -- ADD PHASE
  16. ===========================
  17.
  18. After a certain amount of HP, Nidhogg will flee the arena, and be untargetable. Three adds will spawn. The enemy "Shadow Dragon," should be slain first, the tanks should not aggro it, as it is scripted to ignore aggro. It has no AoE markers on the ground, and uses a frontal swipe AoE that can be avoided by moving away from its front. The two other ads need to be tanked on the sides, one each to a tank.
  19.
  20. NIDDHOGG FIGHT -- PHASE TWO
  21. ===========================
  22.
  23. After adds are removed, Nidhogg will transform into his winged Dragoon form, and execute an unavoidable room-wide AoE that will do nearly all of your health (8000-9000+ HP.) After this attack, he will then go to the main tank once more, and start using various attacks:
  24.
  25. -- Geirskogl (Line Purple)
  26. Avoid it, nothing much else.
  27.
  28. -- Tank Buster (A. M. Attack, long cast.)
  29. Does 7000-9000+ Damage. Healers need to heal the tank right after it is used. Sometimes can be used without the cast bar being seen.
  30.
  31. -- Circle Outlines
  32. Go to the edge if you are targeted by one, preferrably corners. Do not overlap them, they leave behind an AoE that inflicts a bleeding debuff for 1000-2000+ Damage per tick, and has a timer, so it will stay even after you leave the AoEs.
  33.
  34. -- Pulsating Room-wide (Super Jump)
  35. During this attack (Super Jump), Nidhogg will summon copies, and put down circle AoEs and nearly cover the entire arena in purple line AoEs. Avoid them while getting far away from Super Jump.
  36.
  37. NIDDHOGG FIGHT -- FINAL PHASE
  38. =============================
  39.
  40. Nidhogg will turn glowing red when his dragoon phase ends, and do a massive line AoE from one of the sides, so watch out for it. After this, he will do a roomwide touchdown, and continue attacking the main tank. Several new attacks are used in addition to his original conial.
  41.
  42. -- Large Arrows (Stacking AoE)
  43. Stack on the player marked with the large arrows. Stay stacked on them through the three giant lasers. Healers MUST heal through this area of effect attack all three times.
  44.
  45. -- Hot Tail
  46. Used after his double giant line AoE, forcing players to immediately escape the small line safe zone.
  47.
  48. -- Fire Orbs
  49. Fire Orbs act like Brayflox Hard's bombs in the first boss. Do not stand in a 90 degree line from them, diagonals are fine.
