- [00:34:20] Clementine had no clue what this boy wanted her to do, or even if it would do as instructed…? With a sigh, she just gives up such useless thoughts and focused entirely on the task at hand. Closing her eyes, she pressed a hand to the heated wood, the scent of singed flesh only sort of making he place smell weird. But, even if the heated burned her, the girl kept her eyes on the task at hand. The wood was difficult to work with, hardened, it feels decided to fight against her, to push and reject her outright…Well, that's before she pushes harder. Shutting those big, brown optics of hers, she hisses under her breath as a surge of mana was pushed out of her hands, better able to penetrate the wood's cellular with this manner of force.
- Mana begins to push, to cling and soak into each cell, each little link that makes up the wood's solidity altogether. Opening her eyes, the faintest of glows causes her eyes to look like a warm shadow of hazel, a pretty color really. But, the magi could not see anything at this moment, at least…And thing that was NOT the bit of wood she was working in. Clementine would take a deep breath, exhale…Then push again. The tip of the spear tapered slightly as the end of it began to twist ever so slightly; only to be forced to shape into something new.
- Thinking back upon the vines she always had around her arm or waist, the girl decided that perhaps something simple and familiar was the way to go! Nodding to her self, the Nature magi began to murmur and mumble, her eyes completely focused on the woods. Perfection was not easily had, especially for this little girl, but at she pulls and twists, her mana managing to listen-If only for a moment? Eventually it begins to allow her to from and mold it, though with great difficulty!
- "Like...This?"

- [00:52:16] Through her progress, he saw his chance- enacting what he envisioned now the boy brings his hammer into the air. At the apex of height allows for it to twist in his hand -- at it's side he comes down in a crescent arc. "Move away for a moment Clememine!" His only only warning, hopefully it would be heeded otherwise she'd have a bad time healing the broken bones in her fingers that would result from the blow.
- The first blow to the side of the spear's newly shaped head was to set the course -- the action delivering with a resounding pang as he moves onto the side opposite. Lengthening through peining, the child proceeds to follow those methods he read about to expectations; repeated over, and over over the course of three times, the hits strengthened with every continued blow.
- "Getting ready to help me harden it, Clemenmine." Her job not done, only the grunt work of the task completed as the wood begins to shape -- harder than man-made steel, the ebony wood proves durable in holding to his desired form for the spear. Gripping at it's highest most tip, he proceeds to increase the heat; softening what was the most crucial location that would either make or break the spear's future offensive capabilities.
- "Now, please!" Wishing for her to move in to warp the space as he shifts the wood by hand, he squeezes tightly - hands acting as the cast for the final product.

- Moving out of the way, Clementine would pull her hands from the wood and watch as the boy begins to hammer, to shape the wood. What in the world…Oh, she was only…Softening it? THAT made more sense, much easier than trying to shape it herself! Curious eyes watched, gazed upon his work with fascination; he looked to know what he wanted, and he was only six years of age, having taken on a trade already.
- Maybe she ought to as well…?
- What would suit her though, what kind of trade…? She had to know how to do something more than…Than fight things! Maybe she would try her hand at magic symbols? The Mother knew she had enough mana to back up that sort of thing, or maybe…She could try to create things? No…No, betting keep it simple, especially since this was Valsmasia. Didn't want to learn anything that could possibly sway her. Where did you learn such things though…Frowning, the child though she might know the place
- Byson…
- Blinking, she glanced at the boy, the male calling for her to harden the wood. Jumping a bit, she moves her hands to gingerly grip the end of the spear and…Well, hell. What was she suppose to do? It was a freak accident that by pushing mana into the stick, it softened-Oh she was so stupid. Narrowing her eyes, the child began to pull her own mana from the Ebony wood, tearing it free from each string, edge, and call, all until it glowered in her hands and tried to sink in her hands-Throwing it off the side, flower petals is what would cascade down to the floor, instead the possible corrupted mana she pulled from the magic material they worked on.
- Besides, she was always leaking copious amount of magical energy, she certainly didn't need anymore. Waiting for him to warm the next section, singed fingers would go about pushing new, fresh mana into the wood, softening it for the boy to shape and old at will. Clementine just backed up and watched.
- "Hmmm…"

- [11:28:51] For the process of peining to be successful, it did require for one to soften, before hardening once more- the actions of the Fawnlings in no way were incorrect considering this process so far. With seemingly boundless strength, the boy squeezes with all that he can muster; making sure where a tool might fail to hold the shape his hand would achieve the desired effect -- clumped in the blessing of the earth, the brown glove heated to a pinkish-red glow as the heat allows it to adopt new colorations.
- "Just.. Make it stable." A simple enough thing, as he would uh... bring on the heat! Increasing the temperature to the highest threshold allowed, he grips on what would soon be the spear head, and begins molding the point as if it were clay - while it's side remain flat-ish, treating it with a rectangular block effect, he has this stop a third of the way up as he allows a slight slant on both sides nearing it's end to create the point.
- Holding it here, it rests for a moment, the Este's eyes are set on it as he counts under breath in the tune of dead Erik Hiranos -- "one dead Uncle Erik... Two dead Uncle Erik... Three dead Uncle Erik, Four dead Uncle Erik..-" Upon reaching five; he applies one final burst of heat before letting go! Momentarily breaking past the ebony's boiling point inorder to finalize it's overall appearance for this section he falls away, onto his bum carrying an exasperated sigh as he does so.
- "HAAAAA.... OKAY! Only five more sections to go, Clem..." Looking to her carrying a smile- he can't help but look tired after even that ordeal. His first true attempt, while successful it revealed his limitations- a craft only partially effective allowing this little progress to be made within such a wide range of time.
