Prepping for the Anniversary

Covet: -Eli was out by his vehicle putting his Suitcase for the weekend back in the back of Rover for when they take off tomorrow to go see Bliss's mother and have a good get away. He double checked the front zipper pocket on his suitcase and saw the set of keys he stashed away there.- I think you've got everything, Eli. No Spring break mess up's this time.  -he said speaking to himself.-
Tsaaq: Bliss scrolled through the list on her cell phone. "Are you sure? Should we run down the list once more just to be sure?" She asked him before rolling towards her dresser and opening the drawers she could reach.
Covet: Yes My dear. I'm more than certain I have it all. Except for my toiletry bag which I'll need for tonight and in the morning. -He told her back into his phone- Okay I'm coming back up to help get you finished. See you in two shakes of a tribble. -He ended the call and made his way back inside, heading up the stairs towards her room-
Tsaaq: "Wait-" Bliss said as he went to walk out the room. "Fine." She sighed then rummaged around her dresser drawers until, anticipating his return. She looked to her phone and nodded her head as a mental check off for all of her belongings that she'd packed.
Covet: [O.o He was outside coming back in lmao]
Tsaaq: ((Outside of what?))
Tsaaq: ((The house or the room?))
Covet: [He was down by his vehicle putting his suitcase back so he'd have less to do in the morning]
Tsaaq: ((Yeah that's what I assumed.))
Covet: [Oh I got confused when you said "as he went to walk out of the room XD" We're good...Play on!]
Covet: -Eli made his way back into her room, giving a light knock on the door announcing his entry- Okay, Now is there anything I need to get down for you? -He asked, trying his best to be helpful for her.-
Tsaaq: "Ummm, I have some things in my cabinet by the computer over there that I might want to bring." She told him, closing her drawer and rolling over to him. "Other than that I have almost everything where I need it and all that." She nodded.
Covet: Alright, -he said walking over to the cabinets to open them up- What are you looking for in here? -He asked then looked at her giving her a charming smile- Your Dad know's we're leaving in the morning right? -He asked her wanting to make sure his bases were covered.-
Tsaaq: She tapped her chin a few times. Some spare toothpaste, and other back up personal items for bathing and such like lotions and body wash, hand santizer which I will need a whole bunch of while traveling." She answered. "Yes I told my dad we were going." Bliss nodded. "And Gram Gram knows too for good measure."
Covet: -Eli grabbed the things she requested and brought them over to her suitcase- Do you want the lotion and hand sanitizer in a sepperate bag to have with you? -he asked her- Okay good, So when we get there, hotel first to get everything settled in, then we can meet up with your family? -he asked thinking about the extended plan-
Tsaaq: "Yes that's the plan." Bliss said with a nod of her head then smiled at him. "The lotion needs to be put in a baggy in the event that it bursts during travel. The sanitizer goes into my carry on." She explained. "And once we land I'm calling my mother or her husband, whoever is available to make them aware of our arrival."
Covet: Okay great. We'll pick up a rental car once we land too. -He said putting the lotion into a bag for her- Then Saturday night we have dinner plans for just the two of us? I have been working on my champagne uncorking skills since our last fine dining experience. -He told her, in a pleased with himself tone-
Tsaaq: She nodded her head, looking very pleased. "I have some reservations for dinner on Saturday, yes." Bliss answered. "I took the liberty of doing that earlier this week." She smiled at him a moment. "So yes, you will be able to demonstrate your refined skill."
Covet: Wonderful. Where are we going for dinner? -he asked curiously then turned to her and leaned over, resting his hands on the arms of her chair to look at her, before leaning to give her a sweet kiss on the lips-  Have I mentioned how beautiful you are today?
Tsaaq: "Jardinière, you'll like it. French cuisine and champange." She replied with a firm nod then pressed her lips against his and let the kiss soak a moment. She pulled away and shook her head coyly at him. "Stop." Bliss whispered with a small laugh. "No you haven't." She giggled a bit.
Covet: Oooh, It sounds so fancy. Course I assumed as much when Fancy clothes were on the list. -He said to her- Well, then...You are more beautiful than the sun.  It can't possibly compare to you My Dear. -He told her- This year with you has been unexpectedly satisfying.
Tsaaq: She shook her head again. "You shouldn't stare at the sun for too long it damages your vision." Bliss said softly in her know-it-all tone. "But thank you." She sighed. "I didn't think we'd last this long I must admit but that was mostly because of myself and not you..." Bliss lowered her head.
Covet: -He tilted her head back up to him- If your face was the last thing I got to see, before going blind. I could be quite okay with that. -He told her with a smile- I will agree we've had our speed bumps. But they are worth it and are a testament to the fact that even we aren't perfect.
Tsaaq: Bliss pursed her lips a moment. "And that I suppose is something I need to learn to accept. I'm trying at least." She murmured with a slow nod. "Also can you not go blind? It's easily avoidable, even if your mind is imprinted with my face?" Bliss smirked.
Covet: You are doing much better now with coming to terms with it than you might think. -Eli chuckled then moved to sit back on the edge of her bed- We could make it work. I could still push you, you'd just have to direct me where togo. However It would make my job a bit more difficult. I'll settle for seeing you everyday instead. Is that better? -He asked her with his charming smile-
Tsaaq: She lowered her head a bit then turned in her chair to face him. "I think you have  a lot more faith in me than I do." Bliss sighed. "That's a lot better and makes me a lot less anxious." She said, smiling a little.
Covet: I do, and I don't see that as a bad thing. I'm making up for what you lack. It's just my personality complimenting yours. I think you are amazing and can do anything you set your mind to. I will always think that. Even when you or I are being stubborn. OH! -he exclaimed- Before I forget. When we get home on Sunday, we have to go to the comic shop when we land. -He told her-
Tsaaq: She shrugged before nodding in agreement despite her reluctant expression. She furrowed her eyebrows a moment "Why do we have to go to the comic shop?" Bliss asked with a tilt of her head.
Covet: Because I have something for you to see. It is a surprise and yes I know you hate surprises, but I'm telling you as much as I can so that you aren't totally shocked. -he said with a smile- It's an anniversay present for us.
Tsaaq: "A surprise?" She repeated with a hint of anxiety in her voice. "Okay." Bliss whispered with acceptance. "I'm going to be thinking about it all weekend though." She whined a little bit.
Covet: I know. I will keep reassuring you it's nothing scary and I think you will enjoy it for what it is. -He told her- I've been working hard all week on it. I can let you guess what it is all weekend and we can make an entertaining game of it?
Tsaaq: She started to frown widely. "Ughhhhhh." Bliss groaned. "I don't know, instead I'm going to try not to torture myself with what it might be..." Bliss trailed off. "I just want to enjoy our anniversary." She sighed a little.
Covet: Sounds good. No frowns. This is a happy weekend. You'll get to see Beau and your mom and your dog, Well catch pokemon and have some us time. I'll drive you nuts with compliments and other sweet boyfriend stuff. Nothing is going to ruin this.  -He told her, then leaned over to take her hand- We could start early and I could get you tucked into bed . Kiss you until you can't remember what to be worried about?
Tsaaq: Bliss nodded along, trying to force a smile. "I'm definitely ready to get some sleep." She laughed a little, taking off her jean vest then atttempting to pull off her tank top. "I only need a little help doing this though." Bliss murmured. "Perhaps you can get ready for bed since you can do it faster."
Covet: -Eli nodded his head, then went to help her out with her tank top, before he changed into his PJ's. Once he was done he looked back towards Bliss- Need help with anything else My Dear? -He asked her, waiting to help move her to her bed-
Tsaaq: She went to pull off her shorts and shoes once and just put on a night shirt since that was the easiest option. She turned to him and shook her head. "Nothing but for you to wisk me away to dream land." Bliss answered whimsically with a smile.
Covet: I'll do my best. -He nodded then picked her up and tucked her into bed, and climbed in after her, getting all cuddly and all that crap as he pressed kisses to he cheek and neck before passing out.-
