The Generations (so far)

With my current roster of characters and the relations I've identified between them...

I've distinguished them into groups of 3 overall time periods-- or rather generations since I haven't thought much about timeline
Nor the world.. lore stuff.. so I really shouldn't even think about proper time periods or what said periods would be-- whether the world they inhabit is heavily based on and replicates real life history or is completely fictional---... anywho


The oldest generation, a time where Vancroe was alive, which I haven't thought much of
I guess it would be an age of legend and folklore, an equivalent of medieval times ish

The middle generation... umm
I guess that would be the one I'm most familiar with-- in terms of characters and their stories
Times where Nakoma, and Aries, and Altan, and all characters involved with their stories lived

I can't say there's a real life equivalent for that generation, it's a very varied mixture of sci-fi and fantasy ranging from ancient human civilizations, in culture, to prophesied/theoretical futuristic civilizations

And...the modern generation? I guess
Based alot more on.. contemporary times? 'Real life'?
Where Kiro, and other characters based on people, I've met reside
I guess the world then could be like the middle generation-- but with much more emphasis on the present and future, and most likely a progressive exclusion of the past lifestyles


For the older generation, the world is mostly based off belief, I would think-- a mythical time

For the middle generation, the world isn't established by faith-- it just is; and is unburdened by what's right or wrong, fake or real
It's very possible this part of the story is separate from the narrative I want to create

For the modern generation, things are more complicated: nothing is certain-- fiction and reality blends indistinguishably-- it's just about perspective and which story is being told, and for whose benefit... and dealing with the culmination of histories

There are two other generations technically, but I haven't thought much of them cuz... eh, too much, too far away
They basically amount to the same old thing-- world creation and world destruction lore.. bleh
I'm sure it can be interesting to get into but I'm not ready for it-- I can barely perceive the worlds of the current generations I want to establish, or rather I don't know enough about the real world to fuel my inspiration.. I'm definitely not ready to commit to my own metaphysics
