  1. Log 15 is broken into two parts, because one week the session had to stop very early and didn't get much of anywhere, so the two parts are combined together into a single log, here.
  2.
  3. Actinidia has connected.
  4. Narrator has connected.
  5. Avara has connected.
  6. Actinidia: there we go
  7. Narrator: ...Well, I'm almost done.
  8. Narrator: So I'mma keep stuffing my face.
  9. Avara: m33p m33p
  10. Actinidia: I have stuffed crust
  11. Actinidia: it's so filling
  12. Avara: ... haven't seen that typing quirk pop up in a while.
  13. Narrator: I have chinese.
  14. Narrator: I win.
  15. Narrator: By default.
  16. Avara: i have no idea what my dinner will be. except it'll probably be delicious, and may be home-cooked.
  17. Avara: benefit of having a former professional chef living in the house.
  18. DNA: I also have Chinese food. And by that, I mean I have orange chicken.
  19. DNA: Which is basically Chinese food for white people.
  20. Narrator: American Chinese iirc
  21. Narrator: Or...Chinese-American food?
  22. Narrator: Does it have orange peels?
  23. DNA: Nah, it's definitely white people food
  24. DNA: It does not.
  25. Narrator: Oh.
  26. Narrator: Then I feel sorry for you.
  27. DNA: Don't
  28. Narrator: You're missing 50% flavour.
  29. DNA: It's inexpensive and I can spread it out over 2 meals
  30. Narrator: No, I'm not saying orange chicken is bad.
  31. Narrator: It's good.
  32. Narrator: Just I prefer mine to be made with orange peels.
  33. Narrator: For the legit orange flavouring.
  34. DNA: I actually don't like oranges, believe it or not
  35. Narrator: It somehow enhances it.
  36. Narrator: Because of its flavour?
  37. DNA: Not sure, although that may be part of it. The main reason is because of the citric acid. There's enough of it that it scalds the roof of my mouth.
  38. Narrator: Ah.
  39. Narrator: I'd suggest trying it with the peels. It only adds the flavour and nothing else.
  40. Narrator: If you still hate it, meh. You tried it at least.
  41. DNA: I'll keep that in mind.
  42. Narrator: Watering myself
  43. Narrator: Okay. I'm back.
  44. Narrator: Fat. And sassy.
  45. Avara: shoot all the things.
  46. Narrator: Like. Seriously. I ate a whole thing of chinese food.
  47. Narrator: And than drink 27 oz of water.
  48. Narrator: In like, 25 seconds. I feel fat.
  49. Narrator: BUT FED. Awww yiss. We ready?
  50. Avara: ready-steady.
  51. Avara: ret-2-go
  52. DNA: 27 ounces in 25 seconds? How?
  53. Narrator: It's a really good bottle for drinking.
  54. DNA: I can only down a half-litre in like...3 minutes
  55. Narrator: It encourages you to chug and not stop.
  56. Actinidia: ready
  57. Narrator: I hate that bottle.
  58. DNA: Then again, you're physically larger than me, and I get full really quickly
  59. Narrator: Because I wouldn't have drank that much that fast otherwise.
  60. July 26th, Monday.
  61. 72 degrees F and it feels nice.
  62. Wind speeds have decreased to 12 mph. and it is sunny.
  63. It is 1:15 pm
  64. Actinidia, Etna, Grace and Pierce had recently underwent dramatic change and became Pokémon. Actinidia, the Grass-Type Snivy. Etna, the Ice and Rock-Type Amaura. Grace, the Fighting-Type Riolu. Pierce, the Steel and Rock-Type Aron. They have acquired a once Wolf-Spider companion by the name of Uraruren, currently a Bug and Poison-Type Spinarak.
  65. After reaching a park between them and the market district, Mars picks up the scent of metal and deduces it to be Steel-Type Pokémon. As Steel is bad for Etna's health, they decided to go around them and take the long way there.
  66. DNA: Indeed.
  67. DNA: ...now what?
  68. Narrator: Dunno. I'm quickly mapping the south.
  69. Narrator: Since that's what I recall you doing.
  70. DNA: Oh, okay. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to say something at this point, or if I was waiting on you.
  71. Narrator: You guys could talk and stuff.
  72. Narrator: Doing some quick statums and I'll be good.
  73. Narrator: Totes soz here guys
  74. Actinidia: No problem
  75. Avara: no complaints on my end. letting me get my headspace in order.
  76. Narrator: Almost done.
  77. Narrator: Okay. Ready.
  78. Narrator: PHEW
  79. Narrator: Are you guys waiting on me?
  80. Actinidia: Right then
  81. Actinidia: Can we move to the south map?
  82. Avara: ready-steady.
  83. Avara: and yeah, i think we're waiting on you to set up iif need be.
  84. Narrator: I said ready.
  85. Avara: roleplay set-up. anything we see or hear that isn't immediately map-apparent.
  86. DNA: I'm ready.
  87. You move south away from the market and enter a, strangely, more foresty area. You're VERY sure something like this wasn't here before. Something feels off, yet natural, about this place. The water seems to be gushing from nowhere - but that's impossible. It must be a vein underground. And the stench of charred wood hangs in the air. Somewhere deeper in.
  88. Actinidia: "This is interesting. Perhaps a pokemon here is able to help plants grow?"
  89. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Either Hjadvir is quicker than I thought he would be, or I need to start taking notes."
  90. Etna: "We might want to take a little time to investigate while we're here.
  91. Narrator: (( Music for your use:
  92. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5nTX7m7tpU ))
  93. Narrator: (( It very much captures the atmosphere of the place. ))
  94. Pierce Mars Oswell: Perception Smelling on the area.
  95. Pierce Mars Oswell: 4+2+5+5=16
  96. Actinidia: Using Actinidia's hearing!
  97. Actinidia: 3+6+6+3=18
  98. Actinidia: Speedy Search, if it can apply.
  99. Narrator whispers: Your keen senses of scent grants you the following information: There are 18 Pokémon in this area. Their types are varied. You smell the auras of Electric, Psychic, Flying, Grass and Normal. There was several large scale battles here and the environment seems to have been permanently altered as a result. The results of flames to the center surrounded by water.
  100. Narrator: You may.
  101. Pierce Mars Oswell: "There's...all kinds here. I think there's...18 or so? There's flames in the middle surrounded by water, and there were fights around this place that made it what it is now."
  102. Etna: "Hmm. I wonder how that works..."
  103. Actinidia: "I can hear chatter. They seem carefree. Possibly friendly."
  104. Uraruren: "Maybe! But if they're like my family, that's only around their own kind. They could be one way with each other and another with us."
  105. Etna: "So if we want to talk with them, we should approach slowly, carefully, and non-threateningly."
  106. Actinidia: "No way to tell other than ask. And I'm curious how this place formed, and if they had any hand in it."
  107. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Mm. Let's be careful, though, and show that we don't intend to be hostile."
  108. Pachirisu: Pachirisu's ears perk up as Actinidia comes nearby, "Fujjiiiii!" Pachirisu shrieks and quickly scurries off.
  109. Actinidia: "That... could have gone better..."
  110. Actinidia: Actinidia looks around to see if anyone else was alarmed.
  111. Pidgey: Pidgey watches you carefully.
  112. Abra: Abra lazes about.
  113. Actinidia: Actinidia gave Pidgey a friendly wave, "Hello."
  114. Pidgey: Pidgey ruffles her feathers and gives a deep harumph.
  115. Pidgey: "I suppose you're friendly enough." Pidgey says glancing to Abra, "Despite your current company."
  116. Abra: Abra appears disinterested.
  117. Actinidia: "Oh?" Actinidia was just starting to move on. "My name is Actinidia. I was wondering how this area became so lush."
  118. Pidgey: "I don't know the specifics," Pidgey began, "But God took pity on us and ushered the monsters," Pidgey says looking intently to both Etna and Mars, "to the north and granted us this land. It's said to expand weekly."
  119. Pidgey: "God also said, such monsters were not to be allowed to trample through our grove. And any such attempts are to be defended."
  120. Pierce Mars Oswell: "God? The Canadian white horse-like guy?"
  121. Actinidia: "Monsters are no good here? I see. What are the boundaries of the grove? We do not wish to offend."
  122. Pidgey: "The unstoppable angel elk of white? That is the one."
  123. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Yeah, him. He did all this? That's...really impressive."
  124. * Etna obligingly backs up, not particularly interested in a fight. The 'monster' comment rankles a bit, but... whatever.
  125. Pidgey: "There are no specific boundaries, per say. But you should return to the north where you came. Should you wish to pass around, I'd say stay to the fringes." Pidgey says with a huff, "But be warned, not all like myself are friendly enough to conversation with monsters. I'm a pacifist at heart and rely on my bodyguard here for most of my battles." Pidgey motions to Abra.
  126. Pidgey: "The others here are more welcome to conflict than I."
  127. Actinidia: "We're avoiding conflict as we travel, which is how we ended up here. I wont linger any longer."
  128. Actinidia: Actinidia turned to her allies, "We should try to keep to this edge here."
  129. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Sure thing, that's fine by me. I wasn't planning to go further than the edges anyway."
  130. * Etna backs up a bit more, nodding along. "No reason to pick a fight and prove them right.
  131. Narrator: You can pass through the tree there, Etna.
  132. Actinidia: "It's a shame, the squirrel ones were cute."
  133. Avara: can i get movement permission on ura for times like this, where she's riding on etna?
  134. Narrator: Sure.
  135. Pierce Mars Oswell: "There were squirrels? I must not have noticed them..."
  136. Actinidia: "One ran away very quickly. This looks like a lot of field pokemon. And the "God" they mentioned was probably... the legendary from X and Y? That's my best guess. Or the green musketeer."
  137. Etna: ((brb))
  138. Pierce Mars Oswell: "No, it was definitely Arceus."
  139. Pierce Mars Oswell: "The bird said it was an 'unstoppable angel elk of white'. THat's a pretty specific description."
  140. Leafeon: Leafeon stands up as you pass by and watches you with intensity.
  141. Actinidia: Actinidia waved and smiled.
  142. Etna: ((back))
  143. Actinidia: "And Arceus isn't exactly an elk. Or the type of person who'd discriminate against an egg group."
  144. Narrator: I'm gonna cut this short guys.
  145. Narrator: Sorry. Kayla has work in the morning so I don't want to pull her from Stormblood and my daughter is being a butt due to not having a nap or nothing all day.
  146. * Avara hugs kao
  147. DNA: Ah! Okay.
  148. Avara: is important stuff. totally understandable.
  149. Actinidia: Okay
  150. Actinidia is disconnected.
  151. Avara is disconnected.
  152. You have disconnected.
  153.
  154. ----------------
  155.
  156.
  157. Narrator has connected.
  158. Narrator: Why hallo there.
  159. DNA: Just figured I'd get a head start, so I wouldn't forget.
  160. Narrator: A head start?
  161. DNA: Game starts in 10 minutes, right? So I'll log in now just to save the extra bit of time.
  162. Narrator: Normally, yes.
  163. Narrator: Assuming people make it on time.
  164. Actinidia has connected.
  165. Avara has connected.
  166. Narrator: Anyone heard from Grace?
  167. Avara: not a word.
  168. Shellder: Anyone mind checking in?
  169. DNA: I can Skype her, though I have no other way to contact her
  170. Avara: skype says KS is offline. sent a message asking if she's invis.
  171. DNA: ...you beat me to it, apparently.
  172. Avara: nin-nin
  173. Shellder: She's always invisible.
  174. Avara: she hasn't responded
  175. Avara: oh, message on skype
  176. DNA: Spoke too soon
  177. Avara: should be on her way
  178. Grace has connected.
  179. Avara: hiyo
  180. Grace: yo
  181. Narrator: There's Pokémon everywhere.
  182. Narrator: And they want to eat you.
  183. Narrator: I'll move you to where the party is currently located.
  184. DNA: They don't want to eat us.
  185. DNA: Not this group, anyway.
  186. Avara: they may try to kil us if we approach, though
  187. Narrator: Yeah, you guys want to bring her up to speed.
  188. Grace: Oh fuq, that's right I missed last week because horray a f*ckton of projects.
  189. Avara: so we decided to go south and around the steel type brigade in the park area north of us. because steel is horribly ow for etna. the problem is, everyone south of there thinks most of us are naught more than monsters fit for the slaughter. we're trying to keep our distance and not provoke a fight, but it's not a guarantee either.
  190. DNA: The area to the south consists of this large grove that was, apparently, directly crafted by Arceus.
  191. Avara: last week we did basically a little talking and a little walking because nobody was into it, then kao had to call the session short anyway
  192. Avara: not sure if arceus. i think they talked about him as if he was a second deity, not the one that helped them.
  193. Actinidia: "Monster" was used literally in this context. As that is the Egg Group most of the party is in.
  194. DNA: That's the egg group that half of the party is in
  195. Avara: they still used it as in the usual context, instead of egg group
  196. Actinidia: White elk "god".
  197. Actinidia: Actinidia is not included in the monster category. It seems they favor Field types, based on the population we see
  198. Avara: did we miss anything?
  199. Avara: oh, yes
  200. Avara: we saw our first evolved pokemon
  201. Avara: leafeon is evolved early
  202. DNA: There were a lot of battles here, and the water is apparently sprung up from an underground source, but beyond that I can't think of anything in particular...
  203. Narrator: An underground source without a source source.
  204. Actinidia: This grassy area is going to continue to grow.
  205. Actinidia: Which was somehow granted by the white elk god
  206. Narrator: Art thou ready?
  207. Avara: i am ret-2-go!
  208. Actinidia: What is our current exp?
  209. Grace: ye!
  210. DNA: 4650
  211. Narrator: I don't think I gave xp last weke.
  212. DNA: The A in DNA stands for 'ready', as in 'I'm ready'.
  213. DNA: You did not, correct.
  214. Actinidia: I've been jumping between computers so I want to make sure all my notes are up to date
  215. Narrator: Grace, you know where we are on the map?
  216. Actinidia: Actinidia gains 150 experience points.
  217. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce Mars Oswell gains 150 experience points.
  218. DNA: forgot to do that apparently
  219. Grace: Ye
  220. Narrator: July 26th, Monday. 72 degrees F and it feels nice.
  221. Wind speeds have decreased to 12 mph. and it is sunny.
  222. It is 1:28 pm
  223. Narrator: Oh, right. No, I'm not adding anything else.
  224. Narrator: This is basically a continuation of last week. Not much happened at all.
  225. DNA: In that case, we continue to skirt the north edge of the grove without entering it, and head on back north towards the Home Depot, as planned.
  226. Narrator: I really should've made that map ahead of time.
  227. Narrator: Eh, I'll throw together a crude map when I need to.
  228. Actinidia: Actinidia continues to walk until she
  229. Actinidia: 's out of the territory, as far as she can tell
  230. Narrator: Your group skirts the fringes of the grove before heading back north toward the market area.
  231. Narrator: Upon reaching the parking lot of the Home Depot area you see a lot of stripped cars, damaged pavement and shattered glass all around.
  232. Narrator: There are no corpses of children or Pokémon anywhere to be found but the Home Depot's glass doors have been shattered and the area inside is terribly dark.
  233. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...anyone have a light? I feel uneasy."
  234. Actinidia: "Really? I.. right I can see in the dark now."
  235. Actinidia: "It just looks grey in there to me." Actinidia looks through the door (from a distance of a few yards) to see if anything is in there.
  236. Actinidia: 4+5+1+1=11
  237. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I can't, so..." Perception Smelling
  238. Pierce Mars Oswell: 6+4+4+5=19
  239. DNA: Oh good, 8 SP
  240. DNA: Now to think
  241. Etna: "Looks like I've got the same thing you do, Act."
  242. Etna: 1+2+4+0=7
  243. Grace: 3+1+6+0=10
  244. Grace Leonhardt: Grace tries to keep an ear our for anything.
  245. DNA: Object of your Attention + Speedy Search + That Makes me Wonder (Hearing)
  246. DNA: 6+4+5+3=18
  247. Actinidia: "Can either of you two see in the dark?" Actinidia asked Grace and Mars.
  248. Actinidia: "Nothing's moving." Actinidia commented on the store
  249. Etna: ".. I don't see anything moving either."
  250. Narrator whispers: You can smell a lot of blood and a lot of Pokémon from within the building. As well as the fresh blood of a human. A single human.
  251. Narrator whispers: However, you don't hear anything right now. Not from inside the building at least.
  252. Grace Leonhardt: "I'm not hearing anything."
  253. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Neither do I. But there's...a lot of blood inside, and a lot of Pokemon. And the blood of a single human."
  254. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...We're not alone."
  255. Actinidia: "... must be a war zone."
  256. Actinidia: Actinidia listened to the world around them. Any chatter or scampering or rumble of the earth.
  257. Actinidia: 4+3+2+3=12
  258. Actinidia: Hearing
  259. Etna: "Alright. So, be careful where you step and be ready for an ambush."
  260. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will pale a touch at hearing prince's discription. "R-Right..."
  261. Actinidia: "I can hear more in the area we passed than this one. We might have to go win, expecting the trap if there is one."
  262. Pierce Mars Oswell: "But before we do - remind me what we're here for. Just retrieving items, or something else?"
  263. Etna: "At least if we're expecting it, we'll be able to flip it easier."
  264. Etna: "Food, building materials."
  265. Etna: "Seeds and such if we can get them.
  266. Etna: "
  267. Grace Leonhardt: "Mainly looking for building suplies, and we go by a food place on the way back to see if we can find any other foods to stock up on.
  268. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...All right."
  269. Actinidia: "Do you want to take the front Mars? You're the sneakiest, and toughest."
  270. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...Yeah. I'll do that." Mars takes his spot at the front, and will ready himself to step carefully.
  271. Pierce Mars Oswell: He starts walking slowly and deliberately, analzying the area but keeping himself scarce. Stealth Dexterity
  272. Pierce Mars Oswell: 5+4+4+7=20
  273. Pierce Mars Oswell: The Upper Hand
  274. Narrator: Are we scanning each meter as you move?
  275. Pierce Mars Oswell: Yes.
  276. Narrator: Dear lord. Alright.
  277. Pierce Mars Oswell: Well, perhaps not each metre, but enough to just walk a little bit and check and so on.
  278. Actinidia: Actinidia sneaks in after. Keeping several meters behind Mars.
  279. Narrator: Don't ruin my calculations now.
  280. Actinidia: 2+2+3+2=9
  281. DNA: k
  282. Actinidia: Actinidia isn't looking around as much, but is making sure that mars is moving along before she follows.
  283. Narrator: So, as I am figuring this out. I was already assuming people were following in after you. Because you're moving slow af as you become a ninja while examining the area in full. Per meter. By meter.
  284. DNA: Is that a bad thing, or a good thing?
  285. Narrator: Now, for the whispers.
  286. Narrator whispers: As you move in, the area becomes thick with the scent of metal and blood. It is heavy and hampers your ability to track by scent keenly. (Your bonuses from your title are negated here)
  287. Narrator whispers: There are splatters of blood all around but you note that none are that of a human. All various breeds of Pokémon.
  288. Narrator: Just as Mars manages to make it six meters into the Home Depot - just past the cashiers station - the sounds of scampering echo through one of the isles in your direction.
  289. Pierce Mars Oswell: "!?" Would a Perception Hearing test add anything to this?
  290. Narrator: You failed it.
  291. Pierce Mars Oswell: Oh, okay.
  292. Narrator: I've dropped whispers.
  293. Actinidia: "Five.." Actinidia whispers.
  294. Grace Leonhardt: "I- Yeah I hear five too"
  295. Pierce Mars Oswell: Mars doesn't say anything, but nods quietly.
  296. * Etna gives a soft nod of acknowledgement, looking around again.
  297. Narrator: Sliding into view is disturbingly small Eevee that halts as it see's you. The thing is barely six inches tall.
  298. Eevee: "!!" Eevee stares at all of you wide-eyed and confused.
  299. Actinidia: "Hello. We wont start any fights if you don't."
  300. Actinidia: Perception to tell if this Eevee is just playing innocent. Because it is. I just want confirmation.
  301. Actinidia: 1+6+4+1=12
  302. Grace Leonhardt: "Oh my... what're you doing here?"
  303. Narrator: Just then, the other four creatures fly into view. Four tiny sized Eevee that brush right past the miniscule one and past you, not even making any eye contact. They all bolt for the door and out of the home depot.
  304. Eevee: "I - I was born..." Eevee watches as the other Eevee are racing out of the building and it stands to its feet shakily.
  305. Actinidia: "Does anyone else live here?"
  306. Grace Leonhardt: "If you hatched would your parents be nearby?"
  307. Eevee: Eevee's ears flicker and it spins around with a gasp before turning to all of you, "Run! You fools!" Eevee takes this opportunity to run full speed out of the home depot.
  308. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...Something's either further in, or coming for us."
  309. Actinidia: Actinidia uses her "surprise round" to use the Defend action.
  310. Narrator: Does that mean you'll be standing here for a handful of seconds?
  311. Actinidia: Actinidia shifts to the side, lifting her arms to defend herself. She will stand still a few seconds unless any party members make a break for it.
  312. * Etna puts a few meters of distance between herself and the others, remembering the tendency for pokemon moves to hit areas rather than spots.
  313. * Pierce Mars Oswell is going to stand his ground.
  314. Grace Leonhardt: Grace was extremely tempted to go keep the smol eevees safe, but considering it was running, she'll be ready for what worried them so much.
  315. Pierce Mars Oswell: (Not the action, as I can't do that yet. I mean I'm just not moving.)
  316. * Etna will be around 3 squares back from the group.
  317. Narrator: As your group prepares for battle the area is silent. No trembles, no thundering, no pitter pattering and nothing appearing from any isles or darkness (for those that don't have darkvision). Just the eerie silence.
  318. Actinidia: Actinidia takes a few steps forward, bracing for whatever sudden assualt she might endure because of it.
  319. * Pierce Mars Oswell also steps forward, maintaining his position as lead.
  320. Grace Leonhardt: Grace swaps to sweeper stance, ready to have things get going if it starts.
  321. * Etna inches forward as well, keeping formation.
  322. Narrator: The silence remains.
  323. Actinidia: Actinidia begins to search the area, checking for any kinds of traps or hidden creatures.
  324. Actinidia: 4+6+5+1=16
  325. Pierce Mars Oswell: Perception Smelling, seeing if anything's moving or close boy
  326. Pierce Mars Oswell: close by
  327. Pierce Mars Oswell: 2+3+5+3=13
  328. Narrator whispers: You can smell lots of metal and blood. Most of it dried blood. But you can get a feel for more fresh blood toward the back of the home depot.
  329. Grace Leonhardt: 2+5+6+0=13
  330. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will still try to keep an ear out.
  331. Grace Leonhardt: "I... I hear something in the back. Over there. It... kinda sounds... like leather being uh... wretched is the word I think?"
  332. Actinidia: "I can't find any traps."
  333. Etna: 1+4+3+0=8
  334. Grace Leonhardt: wrenched*
  335. Etna: (perception seeing)
  336. Actinidia: Actinidia sneaks up to the back.
  337. Actinidia: 5+6+2+1=14
  338. Etna: "Hmm."
  339. Pierce Mars Oswell: "It's definitely back there, whatever it is..." Mars walks closer along with them.
  340. Actinidia: ((Add 1 to that check))
  341. * Etna follows along
  342. Narrator: Are people moving toward the back?
  343. Actinidia: That's what I said. Made a stealth check
  344. Etna: (( yes ))
  345. Grace Leonhardt: yup
  346. Unresolved value "modifier".
  347. Pierce Mars Oswell: Indeed I am.
  348. Pierce Mars Oswell: 4+6+6+7=23
  349. Pierce Mars Oswell: The Upper Hand
  350. Grace Leonhardt: jfc
  351. Narrator: Halfway down the isle, you find the fresh body of a Vaporeon. It's resting in the pool of blood with several injuries.
  352. Actinidia: "We may have found the mom."
  353. Actinidia: Is it alive?
  354. Actinidia: Cunning First Aid to know.
  355. Actinidia: 4+2+5+1=12
  356. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will grow a bit sadder seeing that those eevees apparently lost a parent.
  357. Actinidia: Actinidia uses Synthesis!
  358. Actinidia: 2+6+6+7=21
  359. Actinidia: Critical hit.

  364. * Etna sees what Act is doing. "Still alive?"
  365. Actinidia: "He's alive. Barely." Actinidia checks to see if using a Technique made it so the Vaporeon started breathing again.
  366. Vaporeon 2: Vaporeon 2 has been spared the worst: Death. His injuries remain however, and he is still unconscious.
  367. Actinidia: wait, he was breathing, just barely. Is the breathing easier now?
  368. Vaporeon 2: Vaporeon 2 looks visibly better and stabled. Given time to rest, he'll be fine.
  369. Actinidia: "We need to see if there are more." Actinidia said, hushed but alarmed.
  370. Actinidia: She continues to move toward the back.
  371. * Etna nods, and hands Act some medical supplies. (Functionally a Potion, heals 2d6 plus vitality)
  372. Narrator: As you inch closer toward the back you can hear light footsteps of a medium sized creature.
  373. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will be rather hesitant about leaving the poor vaporeon alone. "Should... I take him out of here to the kids? It doesn't feel entirely right to leave him here... what's that?"
  374. Actinidia: "We can, but there might be more in trouble."
  375. Grace Leonhardt: Grace grimaces, before nodding her head slowly. "Al...right. Lets try to see what that sound is first..."
  376. Narrator: In the distance you can see a beam of white light flicker around before turning into your direction and shining dead upon Etna, "Whu't shas Pukanun?"
  377. Child: Straining through the light you can make out the distinct features of a child - though you can't tell if the child is a boy or a girl.
  378. Actinidia: "Etna, can you explain?
  379. Etna: "Anaia'a, Snu'x, Ruuftia ang A'un, shuiagh gha aftft ha'a athsiaaft nanat. Muna ut Esna. Hugh'g xuia giaatt su atk na?"
  380. Etna: ((can't use the whisper macro, stack overflow))

  382. Actinidia: Search.
  383. Actinidia: 1+2+2+1=6
  384. Actinidia: Not very well
  385. Etna: "She made a cartoon reference. Who's That Pokemon."
  386. Child: "Wha'a't nx Druddigon ghhan xuia naag hun? Ha't tiathh a laun su s'aun." Child shakes their head before grabbing a whistle. They pause after hearing Etna.
  387. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...what's a Druddigon?"
  388. Etna: "Pure dragon, no evolutions. Pretty strong."
  389. Child: "A saftkung Pukanun! Jiats ftuka gh! A'a xuia ts'ung? Ss'unga' shan a gh?"
  390. Etna: "Itha sxla hia'st D'iagggugunt a ftus. I gun's knugh ur I la'tunaftftx an ts'unga' shan xuia' tlathuruth D'iaggugun, ftias I ha'a r'uangt su haftl na un a rughs. Whas ut xuia' nana, ang ghhx a'a xuia ha'a?"

  393. Etna: "Everyone, on guard for battle."
  394. Actinidia: Instead of hunting through the home depot, Actinidia gets a different idea. "Do you mind if I grow some grass in here? Will that alarm her?"
  395. Etna: "Druddigon may be lurking nearby, and there's a second pokemon she claims to be training."
  396. Etna: "She fancies herself a Pokemon Trainer."
  397. Etna: "And she wants to defeat us."
  398. Child: Child grabs their whistle blows it loudly. A terrible screech fills the air.
  399. * Etna doesn't say anything else to the Child.
  400. Child: (( A moment ))
  401. Narrator: Just then in the blink of an eye a rush of wind blows through the area and a large elegant bug princess-creature stands before the child.
  402. Pheromosa: Pheromosa stands at attention, holding a Flareon by its neck and gripping it so hard you can hear the stretching of its flesh. The Flareon dangles and is battered and bloodied - obviously dead.
  403. Narrator: Position yourselves accordingly. I only moved you all as a group.
  404. Etna: "Oh fuck you," Etna grumbles, mentally preparing herself. "Bug/Fighting, low-to-middling legendary stats. Physical, fast."
  405. Actinidia: "So I'm bad against it. I'll target the human then."
  406. DNA: I'm fine with my positioning.
  407. Actinidia: Grace BRBd
  408. Child: "Thata a'a sha ftats unat, P'unthatt! Wa saka shata uias, xuia fta'aft ial ang gha gu huna. Maxfta shax'ftft a'an ha'a usan g'ult!" Child squees at the last statement before pointing forward!

  419. DNA: wait, it's accuracy, never mind
  420. Narrator: (( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmPBApv4D-s ))
  421. DNA: so that's 3d6+2, okay, I can live with that
  422. Avara: is grace still afk?

  426. Pheromosa: 2+2+1+5=10
  427. Actinidia: "Ah, parent and child. But if you really are murdering everything that crosses your path, expect me to treat you both as the murders you are." Actinidia's words held no passion, there was no emphasis or sting. She spoke as if stating something obvious, like how the weather was sunny that day.
  428. Pheromosa: (( lol ))
  429. Actinidia: **murderers

  681. Pheromosa: Pheromosa is slain by Actinidia while fleeing with her child in her arms. Pheromosa collapses onto the ground, expiring pitifully with a final squeal.
  682. Child: Child tumbles onto the floor unconscious.
  683. Actinidia: "Oops. Forgot to hold back." Actinidia paused.
  684. Uraruren: "Yay! We won!"
  685. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will pale at what just happened. "Act... the f*cK!?"
  686. * Etna takes a deep breath, trying to deal with what they just did. She's... going to have a way harder time doing this. They just did basically what they killed that Onix for. Fuck.
  687. Grace Leonhardt: At that she'll run over to the child to check on him.
  688. Actinidia: Actinidia moves over to attempt first aid on the Pheromosa.
  689. Actinidia: 4+1+2+1=8
  690. * Etna sits down, trying to think about things.
  691. Uraruren: Uraruren looks up to Etna and tilts her head, "We won. Right?"
  692. Etna: "You remember the big rock snake you beheaded, Ura?"
  693. Actinidia: "We did."
  694. Etna: "We killed her because she and her gang attacked a family and killed one of the parents of that family, and one of the children."
  695. Uraruren: "I thought I ate it because it was doing bad thins to a lot of people." Uraruren rubs her chin, "...If that's why we did it, we're pretty much hypocrites. I eat the family of others all the time."
  696. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Killing to protect a child, regardless of other children, huh..."
  697. Etna: "We just killed that kid's parent, and by all odds he won't be able to command an unruly druddigon without the pheromosa to keep it in line. He won't live to see the day."
  698. Etna: "Yeah. We're supposed to be trying not to kill anymore, since we don't need to kill to eat."
  699. Etna: "But we did."
  700. Grace Leonhardt: After a little bit of panicing, she'll reach into her bag, and pull out the first aid kit. Opening it up, she'll try to see what she can do, as well as trying to set the arm back into place.
  701. Pierce Mars Oswell: Mars says nothing in response to that.
  702. Actinidia: "We were attacked. We've been attacked plenty of times and left our opponents for dead."
  703. Grace Leonhardt: 5+4+6+3=18
  704. * Pierce Mars Oswell takes the time to Take a Breather, as he's far too tapped from the current fight to go out right away.
  705. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce Mars Oswell, taking a five minute breather, is healed and gains 11 health and 6 power.
  706. Actinidia: Actinidia, taking a five minute breather, is healed and gains 11 health and 7 power.
  707. Etna: "We left unconscious opponents as sheltered as we could arrange, you might remember."
  708. Child: Child is healed and gains 5 health.
  709. Uraruren: Uraruren, taking a five minute breather, is healed and gains 8 health and 5 power.
  710. * Etna looks at Ura. "Yeah, the Onix did a lot more bad things. But that one thing is what set us on her trail."
  711. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Yeah, but I'm pretty sure that...large insect thing...would have fought to kill regardless."
  712. Etna: Etna, taking a five minute breather, is healed and gains 10 health and 10 power.
  713. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I can't really blame it. If I were in its situation I would have done the exact same thing."
  714. Actinidia: "Though, those enemies we left because the attacked us out of fear, or out of hunger. Or something practical. These ones were killing anything for practice."
  715. Uraruren: Uraruren opens her mouth to respond but pauses and decides against it.
  716. Etna: "You can say what you wanted to, Ura. If it's something mean to me or anyone else, we can take it."
  717. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will see that the worst for ware was done, and she'll close up everything reusable in the box, toss the now considered biohazards, close the box, and uppon realization, she'll stumble her way back to the vaporeon.
  718. Child: Child looks visibly better from the first aid and will appear to recover. In time.
  719. Child: Child remains unconscious.
  720. Actinidia: Actinida drops a Grassy Terrain at their feet. Target Number 15
  721. Grace Leonhardt: As grace walks by Act, she'll shoot her a glare, "I'd like to talk about what just happened later..."
  722. Uraruren: "I think I'll wait until I have more information. Observe and report."
  723. Etna: "Alright."
  724. Actinidia: 6+5+1+9=21
  725. Actinidia: Works. Everyone restores 1d6 HP for every round for an hour
  726. Actinidia: Actinidia loses 4 power.
  727. * Etna gets up. "I'm going to walk around, and see what we can get from this place. Someone check up on that Vaporeon."
  728. Pierce Mars Oswell: Let me know when the round counter ticks, I suppose?
  729. Grace Leonhardt: grace is going to check on the water type
  730. Actinidia: Grassy Terrain extends to 20 meters.
  731. Grace Leonhardt: See what she can do with her first aid kit
  732. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...I'll go with Grace. It'd be unwise to walk around alone right now. Unless, Etna, you'd rather go with Grace?"
  733. Grace Leonhardt: 6+2+4+3=15
  734. Etna: "You go ahead."
  735. Pierce Mars Oswell: "All right. I'll meet you back here."
  736. Grace Leonhardt: For her attempt at using the kit on the vaporeon if he's still there.
  737. * Etna will make a Perception (sight) check to look for whatever supplies are here.
  738. Etna: 2+4+1+0=7
  739. You whisper to Narrator: Are the effects of Mars's Bloodhound still negated here?
  740. Vaporeon 1: Vaporeon 1 is healed and gains 6 health.
  741. Actinidia: Actinidia uses perception (search) to find building materials.
  742. Actinidia: 4+6+3+1=14
  743. Narrator whispers: Correct. There's too much stagnated blood and metal here. You aren't suffering a penalty, just no bonus.
  744. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will then close the box once more, and go see if she can spot the eevees nearby to make sure they didn't go too far.
  745. Grace Leonhardt: 2+2+3+0=7
  746. Pierce Mars Oswell: Mars checks the area by scent to see if there's anything new, removed, or otherwise changed.
  747. Grace Leonhardt: hearing
  748. Pierce Mars Oswell: 3+1+1+3=8
  749. Grace Leonhardt: 1+6+4+0=11
  750. Grace Leonhardt: Sight
  751. Avara: the perception dice really ain't happy with us
  752. Pierce Mars Oswell: That Makes Me Wonder into Hearing
  753. Pierce Mars Oswell: 2+1+4+3=10
  754. Pierce Mars Oswell: I GUESS
  755. Grace Leonhardt: Pinning back her ears, she'll put her hands up to her mouth. "Eevees? Kids?! It's safe now! I think your father should be fine now! He'll want to see you when he wakes up!" She'll say sounding a bit tired.
  756. Actinidia: "Supplies are plentiful. Scavengers haven't found it, by the looks of things. Signs of it being a breeding ground though, I'm a bit sad that 'breeding ground' is now a thing I recognize."
  757. DNA: (Grace, did you apply the Take a Breather to yourself?)
  758. Grace Leonhardt: Not just yet, due to her not taking a breather just yet.
  759. Eevee: The tiniest Eevee appears from within a broken car frame and slowly approaches Grace. It's ears are flat against its head.
  760. DNA: O.K.
  761. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will just sit down, and motion slowly to come closer to her. "It's alright little one... I'm here to help... are your siblings nearby?"
  762. Eevee: 0 shakes its head, "No...they ran toward the south. And didn't stop. I didn't want to leave just yet though...."
  763. Eevee: Eevee shakes its head, "No...they ran toward the south. And didn't stop. I didn't want to leave just yet though...."
  764. Avara: brb. hunger is to the point of distraction.
  765. Actinidia: "The south may be safe. We found a field there, green and full of pokemon in your egg family."
  766. Actinidia: "They are agressive to outsiders, but they might tolerate your kind."
  767. Grace Leonhardt: "Towards the grove place? Or... did they just run?"
  768. Grace Leonhardt: Grace Leonhardt, taking a five minute breather, is healed and gains 10 health and 9 power.
  769. Eevee: "I hope they take my family in..."
  770. Grace Leonhardt: "You'll be fine little one... Your father's going to make it. Once he's up, you should be able to head south and possibly find your kin if they were stopped there. A leafeon, a growth of your kind was there. They should be fine for right now."
  771. Narrator: You guys want to pause here? Let the implications of things sink in, cultivate and them roleplay the shit out of it later?
  772. Grace: I'm up for whatever!
  773. Actinidia: sure
  774. DNA: Given how it's 20 minutes from the usual close time, I wouldn't object to that - but I am fine either way.
  775. Narrator: I think it's a good stopping point.
  776. Narrator: Oh, DNA, don't forget the synopsis please! I love reading them.
  777. Narrator: Now, XP will be a bit higher because I forgot it last week.
  778. Narrator: 750 Experience
  779. Uraruren: Uraruren gains 750 experience points.
  780. DNA: Ah, right, I can do that now because I ahve nothing else on my mind.
  781. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce Mars Oswell gains 750 experience points.
  782. Actinidia: Actinidia gains 750 experience points.
  783. Pierce Mars Oswell: 5400 EXP, 2100 To Next Level
  784. Narrator: Saving campaign and log
  785. Narrator is disconnected.
