Aanon in Equestria Part 9: Beans and Rice

>You were walking back to Twilight's house after walking Fluttershy home.
>That was strange. Why was she acting so weird?
>More importantly, what was that item that she was hiding from you?
>Did Twilight want to surprise you with something? What was it though?
>You couldn't wait to find out.
>It was already getting dark out. You knew that Twilight was already getting nervous. She was probably just waiting to hug you when you walked in the door.
>You were in the town's limits now. There were very few p0nies roaming the steets. You see Twilight's tree-home in the distance.
>You pass Pinkie's bakery house. It smelled like cinnamon and sugar. There were a lot of lights and noise coming out of it. She must be having another one of her parties again.
>You pass Rarity's house. None of the lights are on.
>That's weird. You always see her lights on.
>Before you knew it, you were at Twilight's doorstep. You turn the knob, unlocked, and walk in.
>Just as expected, Twilight was waiting for you. She runs over to you and locks you in a hug.
Twi: Wherewereyou? YouknowIgetscaredwhenyouleaveforever!
>She gives you little kisses everywhere on your face.
Sorry Twilight, I just ran into Fluttershy at the market-
Twi: Fluttershy?! Did she um.. say anything to you?
No, but she said you had a surprise.
>Twilight looks relieved.
Twi: Oh, well yes, I do have a surprise. But you'll just have to wait and see.
>She breaks the hug, and grabs your arm.
Twi: Why don't we go to bed?
>You both smile, knowing exactly what was about to happen.
>Twilight led you upstairs, and you sat on the bed as Twilight went into the bathroom.
>She came out, dressed in her sexy pajamas.
Twi: Now where were we..



>Once again, you feel warm.
>You open your eyes. You had your arms around Twilight's midsection.
>You lay there for a moment, enjoying the sound of Twilight's breathing. It was very calm and soothing to you.
>You get up, sliding your arm from underneath Twilight, and you pull on some new underwear. You head for the shower.
Twi: *yawn* Hey Aanon.
>She looks at you with a big smile.
Sorry Twi, I was trying to to wake you.
Twi: That's ok. Whatcha doing?
I was about to take a shower-
Twi: Can.. can I join?
>You think about it.
>Wait, what is there to think about?
Sure.

>You were in the shower with Twilight, washing off last night's fun.
>Twilight pumps out the soap with her magic, and washes your hair in seconds.
How did you do that?
>Twilight blushes.
Twi: It's just a spell. I use it everytime in the shower, so it's pretty easy to do now.
>You don't know why that turns you on, but it does.
Hey Twi, where's the soap?
Twi: Don't be silly Aanon, it's right there!
>She points above you. A little above eye level, there was a shelf with a bar of soap on it.
>How did you not see that before? It was right in front of you.
>You take it off. There was barely enough left for the two of you. You would practically be just rubbing your hands-

>That was fun.
>You and Twilight both help each other get dry.
Twi: So what do you want to do today?
>You remember your promise to Fluttershy.
Umm.. how about we take a walk around town?
Twi: Oh, ok!
>You both go and get dressed. You pull out another one of Rarity's clothes, amazing as usual, and put them on. It was a blue t-shirt, with strange designs on it, and black shorts, thankfully covering the knees.
Twi: How do I look?
>Twilight had on a purple t-shirt, and purple short shorts, with matching shoes.
How did you..? I thought everyone here wore dresses and formal ware.
Twi: I had Rarity make these for me, and Fluttershy picked them up for me.
Was that what was in that package that Fluttershy had?
Twi: Yep.
But how did Fluttershy give it to you? I walked her home.
Twi: I teleported over there this morning.
But weren't you asleep?
Twi: I got up without disturbing you. *giggle* You sure are a heavy sleeper Aanon!
>You look at Twilight's new clothes. They made her look hot as hell.
Twi: So are we going?
>You were having a hard time concentrating.
Uhh.. yeah, let's go.
>You both set foot outside, and walk side by side towards the middle of the town.
Twi: Wow Aanon, I must say that this is much more comfortable than a dress.
>You noticed everyp0ny staring at the two of you, especially Twilight. Some of the younger guys were even giving a few whistles. Twilight blushes everytime.
>You put your arm around Twilight, and she seems more relaxed.
>Rarity was outside her boutique. Upon seeing you and Twilight, she rushes over to you two.
Rarity: Why, hello Aanon! I see that you are enjoying my work?
>She looks over to Twilight, and gasps.
Rarity: Why Twilight, you look simply stunning! I must say, I was a little worried about the way the clothes matched, but it seems perfect nonetheless!
Twilight: Thanks again Rarity. I must say, it is a lot easier to move in this then a dress.
Rarity: Oh, I know darling! I've been making orders like this all day!
You have?
Rarity: Why yes. It appears that the whole town seems to like your style of clothing Aanon.
>You take a second look around you. Sure enough, there were quite a few guys in jeans and shorts, and even a few girls in jeans and t-shirts.
Rarity: You have really boosted my business with your choice of fashion Aanon! That reminds me, I have to make more orders of jeans!
>Rarity rushes off, and closes the door of her shop.
Twi: Well look at that! your a trendsetter Aanon!
>You really were. At least half the p0nies had worn clothing like yours.
I don't even know what to say.
>You and Twilight continue your walk, with both of you fully noticing a lot of the p0nies with your style of clothing. You don't see many of the other girls wearing shorts as low as Twilights though. It still got Twilight a lot of whistles though.
>You and Twilight decide to take a break.
>You both settle into an outside diner, and order something.
>Twilight gets a daisy sandwich, while you search for something edible on the menu.
Um.. can I get a fruit salad?
>It was the only thing that looked good.
>The waitress comes back with yours and Twilights food. You give her some bits and she leaves.
>Twilight devours her sandwich, and you pick at yours.
>It was getting harder and harder to stomach all of the vegetables and fruits. You really missed meat.
>You could feel yourself getting weak though. When was the last time that you had anything with protein? You think about the peanut butter you had, but that felt like weeks ago.
Twi: Are you ok Aanon?
Huh? Yeah, I'm just.. tired is all.
Twi: Is something wrong with your food?
No, it's just.. I think I need some protein.
Twi: Oh, ok. How do you get that?
Meat usually.
Twi: Oh..
I know that there are plenty of plants that have it though.
>Twilight brightens up.
Twi: Which ones? I bet that we can find them.
I know that rice and beans are a perfect combo for getting it.
Twi: Rice? Beans? We usually don't eat things like that Aanon, but I'm sure that we can find it in the market somewhere.
>You struggle through the fruit salad, and you and Twilight head to the market.
>You see tomato stands, carrot stands, peach, pears, etc.. but no rice or bean stands.
Twi: Oh! there's one!
>You look to where Twilight is pointing, and see a dirty excuse for a stand. The p0ny manning it was a large, black guy, wearing shades, and hopelessly wiping the counter with an even dirtier rag.
>You see his products. There were many different types of rice you could see. Some were white, some brown, yellow, and even some a red variety.
>He also had many different types of beans. What are the odds? You recognize some of them, like kidney and pinto.
Vendor: Can I help you?
>His voice was gruff, but friendly.
Uh.. Can I get some of that rice over there?
>You point to the brown rice, hoping it was full of the nutrients you needed.
Vendor: Sure kid, will that be all?
And some of those beans.
>You point to what looks like pinto beans.
Vendor: All right then, how much do you want?
Just.. enough for a meal.
>He takes out a metal cup, and takes a scoop from each, putting them in 2 bags.
Vendor: That'll be 5 bits.
>You fork over the bits, and claim your bags.
>You couldn't wait for tonight. You were tired of salad and daisies.
>You go over to Twilight, holding your bags up high.
Twi: You know, I've never actually tried rice or beans before.
You don't know what you're missing Twi.
Twi: But the rice looks like eating sand, and the beans look hard as rocks.
That's because you cook them first.
Twi: How do you cook them?
No idea. I think you boil both of them to soften them.
Twi: Oh, well I think we could do that.
>You and Twilight head back to her house, hand in hand.
Twi: So, what do you want to do know?
Well, I sort of promised Fluttershy that I would hang out with her.
Twi: Oh, ok..
>Twilight lowers her head.
Don't worry Twi, we still have all of the evening to try and cook dinner.
>She hugs you.
Twi: Ok, but don't take too long this time Aanon, you hear?
Don't worry Twi, I won't.
Twi: Do you want me to teleport you over there?
>You always wanted to try to teleport. The answer was clear.
Yes.
>Twilight grins, and hugs you tight.
>Automatically, you feel a burning sensation, and your entire vision goes pure white. You feel like you were set on fire, everything had a burning sensation.
>Suddenly, you were right in front of Flutteshy's cottage.
>You look down, and notice that your clothes were covered in black ash, and your hair was singed.
>You collapse, and Twilight goes down with you, still hugging you.
Twi: Oops, sorry Aanon! I guess I wasn't focusing enough.
>You cough out a lung full of ash.
It's ok.
>Your voice was raspy.
>You look at Twilight. She didn't even have a speck of ash on her. So unfair. She gets up, and helps you do the same.
Twi: Ok Aanon, remember to come home- um to my house when your done, ok?
Got it Twi.
>She kisses you on the cheek, and then disappears in a purple glow.
>You turn to Fluttershy's door, and cough out more ash.
Knock Kno-
>The door opens, and Fluttershy looks surprised.
Flutter: Oh, hi Aanon.. I didn't think you were coming..
Sorry I took long. Twilight and I just went to buy rice and beans. Now I finally have a source of protein!
Flutter: Oh, that reminds me.. come inside. I have a surprise.
>She leads you in, and you smell something strange.
>No.. It couldn't be..
>She rushes to the table first, and hold something behind her back.
Flutter: I have a surprise Aanon..
>She holds out your hands, and you widen your eyes in surprise.
>She had a big, whopping fish in her hands.
Flutter: Here, I know how long you've wanted some meat, and I caught this for you.
>You take it in your hands. It's eye was still staring at you. Creepy.
Flutter: Do you like it?
Yeah Fluttershy, but-
Flutter: You can eat in in here.. if you want to that is..
I can't eat it.
Flutter: What? Why not?
It needs to be gutted, and cooked. I can't risk the diseases I could get just for the protein.
Flutter: Oh.. That's..
>You see Fluttershy's face turn green.
I'll do it outside. Do you have.. a knife I could use?
>She points to the kitchen, and turns even greener.
Thanks Fluttershy, I appreciate it.
>You go to the kitchen, and grab a good sized knife. You head outside, putting as much distance between you and Fluttershy's cottage as you can. You spot a creek not far ahead. Perfect.
>You go to the creek's edge, and you began to scale it. You cut it open, gut it, and take the gills and head off, throwing everything in the creek. You take your time, making sure to clean it as best as you can.
>Finally, you take what is left of it, and go up to Fluttershy's house again. You leave the fish on a stump, not wanting to freak Fluttershy out.
Hey Fluttershy!
>You see her walk out of the kitchen. She looked better now. You hide your hands. You forgot to wash them off.
Umm.. where do you want the knife?
>She turns green again.
Flutter: Just.. just leave it outside..
Okay, could I..
>You think of how you are going to cook it. There was no way you were cooking it inside. The stench would linger for days.
>Could you hand me a sauce pan? And maybe some butter?
>She quickly gives you the items.
Thanks.
>You reach out your hands for them, and Fluttershy sees them. She loses it, and runs to the bathroom.
Oops.
>You take the items over to the stump. Now to get a fire going.
>You gather some dead wood from around the trees, and get a nice pile of tinder. You put some rocks in a circle, and put the tinder in the middle.
Now to lite it..
>You didn't have enough wildlife skills to do it naturally.
Fuck.
>Idea.
>You go down to the river, and wash the blood off.
>You grab some of the tinder, wrapping it around a stick, and head inside of Fluttershy's house, and go to the stove. You light it, and light up the tinder. You quickly run outside, hoping not to burn anything, and making sure to turn the stove off.
>You put it in the firepit, and quickly add sticks to it, feeding the flame.
>You feel like a survival expert right now.
>You put in the butter, and watch it sizzle. You cut the fish in half, and add it to the pan.
>You wait a couple of minutes, your hunger starting to get to you, but you were patient.
>You flip it, the wait for the other side feeling even longer.
>Finally, you called it done, and put the fire out. You walk over to the stump, and put the pan on it. You wished that you aksed Fluttershy for a fork or something, but you were too hungry to go inside.
>You pick it up with your hands, not even minding that it was still hot.
>Suddenly, you remember what you said to Twilight.
>You promised her you would stop eating meat.
>You look at the delicious meal before you.
>Should you eat it anyways? She wouldn't even know.
>No. You would know.
>You look at the fish.
>And you chuck it as hard as you can. It lands in the creek with a splash.
>You can't believe you just did that. All of that hard work.. it took hours..
>You look up at the sun. It was already sunset.
>Ohno. Twilight was going to freak if you weren't back by nightfall.
>You get up, and take the saucpan with you. You go inside Fluttershy's house, and run directly into Fluttershy.
>You both fall flat on the ground.
Ouch! Oh, sorry fluttershy.
>You get up, and help her up.
Fluttershy: That's ok Aanon.. Did you.. enjoy it?
Yeah, it was delicious..
>You didn't have the heart to tell her.
>You go over and put the saucepan in the sink, and begin to wash it.
Flutter: Oh, that's ok.. really, it's fine..
Don't worry, I insist.
>You make sure to scrub every part of the pan, and put it on the counter to dry.
Flutter: So, what do you want to do know?
Actually Fluttershy, that took longer than I thought, and I should get going..
>Ohno, she's sad again.
It's okay Fluttershy, maybe next time..
>She grabs you in a hug, and starts to tear up.
>Not again.
Flutter: Don't go, please..
But Twilight is-
Flutter: But I need you..
What?
Flutter: I like you, ok? I don't know why, But I feel the need to be close to you..
>Uh oh.
I'm sorry Fluttershy, but I love Twilight-
Flutter: But I love you!
But you barely know me! How could you fall in love with me so fast?
>Fluttershy is now sobbing.
Flutter: I don't know! It's just since I first met you, I felt as if.. you were the one I wanted..
Well I'm sorry Fluttershy, but-
>She had you in a death grip. An awkward, uncomfortable, death grip.
I should probably go now.
>You slide out from Fluttershy, and hold hold her shoulders.
Look Fluttershy, We'll talk about this later. But right now, I gotta get home to Twilight.
>She sniffs, and doesn't say anything. She just stares at you.
I have to go.
>And with that, you run to the door, and run out.
>It was going to be a long way to Twilights.
