Possible fixes for multiplayer problems (Magicka)

Open these ports:
   7331 UDP/TCP
   27000 to 27050 UDP/TCP
   4380 UDP


Turn off Hamachi, Tunngle or other similar programs, if they're running

Deactivate all network adapters except the one you're using to connect to the internet:
   in the Systray left-click the internet symbol (should look like a bar chart)
   open the network center
   on the left, click on Adapter Settings
   then select the adapters and deactivate them!


open the Firewall for Magicka (it should be open by default though)


optionally you can also restart Steam before playing online.


If you still have unusual lag or if you lose connection to the internet often, check if your router's firmware is up-to-date. (Contact your internet provider's support)


- Never alt-tab (minimise the game). If you are hosting a lobby and you minimise Magicka people won't be able to join you.
- Sometimes the game just takes a while to load, so do not quit if the loading bar is stuck. Wait at least a minute.
- Running Magicka windowed helps a lot of problems. If you run it windowed you can also alt-tab
- If you host one of the DLC adventures, a challenge or a PvP lobby you have to reselect the level before starting the game.

You can connect to your friends easily by right clicking their name in Steam and then clicking "Join Game". Or if you are hosting a lobby you can invite them. Right-click their name again and click "Invite to Game".
