star bird

Kirby, in his newfound form, put the Star Amulet on his belt. He looked at his gloved hands.

"What is this? What happened to me?" He asked in a much deeper and mature voice than he had before.

"You have become Star Knight, the greatest warrior in the universe." One of the ancient spirits responded.

"Only you are truly worthy of wielding this power to fight for good. Now, Zero draws near! You must get out there and confront him as soon as possible!" Another spirit said.

"But how, great spirits? I don't have any form of transportation." Kirby, or rather, Star Knight said.

Just then, a small green bird flew in and perched on a windowsill. Pitch!

"Kirby! I saw you run in here and-woah, what happened to you?" He startlingly asked.

"Pitch! It's still me inside!" Star Knight yelled in response.

Pitch flew to the ground, closer to Star Knight.

"This avian shall be your faithful steed in battle. Go on, point the sword at him." One of the spirits said.

Star Knight obliged. He grabbed the Star Amulet again and pointed it directly at Pitch.

"Hey, what'd I ever do to you?!" Pitch inquired.

Suddenly, the Star Amulet's center crackled with energy. A beam of light shot out and enveloped Pitch.

Pitch grew and grew to a much bigger size, with armor eventually appearing over him. Once the transformation finished, he screeched in defiance.

Much like how Kirby became Star Knight, Pitch became the mighty Star Bird.
