  1. Jump #363: Fate/Kaleid Liner PRISMA☆ILLYA
  2. Why the heck is there a star in there?
  3. >Ace of Wands, reversed: The seed of a new crisis.
  4. Yes, this is your fault, isn't it, Zelretch.
  5. >Age: 12
  6. Oh, you de-aged me too? Heh. Trolls trolling trolls...
  7. >Location: Parallel World
  8. Oh, and I'm in a doomed world. This is the sink-or-swim Second Magic test, isn't it?
  9. >Identity: Magus (-100)
  10. >Drawbacks: (+400) Jumper Card
  11. I'm morbidly curious as to whether this limits me to 10% of my magical circuits' thoroughput as well. That still leaves me with 131 on top of what I get with this jump.
  12. >Magic Circuits (x1) (Free)
  13. Another 20 to add to the list. Which would now total 1,330.
  14. >Basic Magical Skills (Free, Magus)
  15. I think I already wrote the book on this. Literally.
  16. >Hypnosis (Free, Magus)
  17. Frankly the best aspect to this is being able to use it to directly transfer memories.
  18. >Mirror World Transfer (1200, Magus)
  19. This... is useful. Especially if I can have the equivalent of an entire city in the mirror world. Move there with all the combatants, let the battle wreck the place, then we're back in the real world and everything is fine.
  20. >Gravity Magic (1100, Magus)
  21. With Prodigy, twenty circuits can let me kick gravity up a hundredfold in an area the size of a football field? Does that work for a linear increase? Because I'd be happy to kick gravity up to some 6,650 times normal gravity by my measure.
  22. >Magical Prodigy (700, Magus)
  23. Considering I'm doing my best to master in two decades what should take me multiple lifetimes to achieve... I need every edge I can get.
  24. >Zelretch’s Student (300, Magus)
  25. Another ten years to work on the Kaleidoscope. Very nice.
  26. >Zelretch’s Notes (0, Magus)
  27. Huh. Actually, getting to study the notes on how some of the stuff he'd made... this gives me ideas. Ideas to work into the gauntlet.
  28.
  29. >Zelretch laughed himself silly when he saw the results of that, and told me he'd be seeing me around.
  30. A day later, Zelretch steps out from behind me and pitches me through a portal. "SOONER THAN YOU THOUGHT--!"
  31.
  32. So the first test was to be on a world without any prana and get out before it died utterly, since it was on the verge of death already. Which... yes, I could have cheated any number of ways, used out of context magic and so on, but... come on, I've been tutored by Zelretch for ten years. If I couldn't figure out a way to do that here, I'd hardly be worthy of his attention, now would I?
  33.
  34. I ended up figuring out three ways - one was utilizing magic circuits in the expected way, one was out-of-context magic emulating similar effects, and one (which I have more pride about than I have any business being) was made entirely out of scrap, a few computers, and a number of jewels focusing light in just the right way to make a short-lived portal.
  35.
  36. Sure, plenty of insanity is taking place all around, but this is basically me taking a calmer decade to put all the effort into the Second Magic that I can.
  37.
  38. I should be flattered that he thought I was worthy of another decade of tutoring, frankly-
  39.
  40. Wait.
  41.
  42. Wait, this isn't the same Zelretch?
  43.
  44. Wait, what do you mean of course this isn't, it's been a different Zelretch every few months?
  45.
  46. YOU ZELRETCHES ARE SUCH TROLLS.
  47.
  48. I'll never know for certain whether he's just screwing with me or actually being serious, will I?
