- Name: Zoey L. Atkins
- Age: 16
- Gender: Female
- Abilities:
- Animal Spirits: By channeling the spirits of the animal world, Zoey can, for a limited time, inherit the genetic abilities of an animal spirit for a multitude of purposes outside of combat. There are certain conditions to this power: she must be wearing a channeling device (a magically imbued belt buckle) to be able to use a spirit, she can only be channeling one spirit at a time, and she cannot channel a spirit for too long or risk losing herself to an animalistic state.
- List of Spirits:
- - African Ostrich (Zoey is able to run at speeds of over 50 mph for an extended period of time. He kicking power is also increased)
- - Spider Monkey (Zoey becomes extremely acrobatic and agile, her reflexes also increase)
- - African Elephant (Zoey gains an incredible amount of strength, endurance, and power, and is also difficult to knock over)
- - Swordfish (Zoey can swim through water at incredible speeds)
- - Scarlet Macaw (Zoey can recite phrases others have said in a perfect imitation of their voice) [Ability to be acquired]
- - Bengal Cat (Zoey develops night vision)
- - Gray Wolf (Zoey can track the scents of others)
- - Eastern Mole (Zoey is able to dig through soft earth in seconds. Although this spirit blinds her while in use, her sense of touch and hearing are greatly enhanced) [Ability to be acquired]
- ((More spirits are to be acquired throughout her time as an Interference))
- Animal Speak: Zoey, due to her attunement to the spirits of animals, can quickly learn how to talk in the language of virtually any animal she meets just by hearing them, and in turn converse with them as if they were human.
- Wilderness Expert: Having lived in the swamps of Louisiana for most of her life, Zoey learned to rely on Mother Nature for her survival. She has the knowledge to not only survive in the wild, but thrive. Her skills include: identifying various plants and creating remedies from them or determining if they are edible or not, building a shelter with materials from the environment, moving stealthily through the area, and finding the best places to hide from danger.
- Personality:
- Zoey can best be described as calm, collected, and easy going individual. When she's feeling good, it can be as if she's in her own little world, away from all trouble or worry. In such a mood, Zoey is normally cheerful and kind. These emotions are more prominent in the outside world, where she feels most at home, or if the day's events are going well.
- When she's feeling down, however, Zoey is more likely to be agitated or restless, as if she wants to hurry up and fix the problem ailing her, and she would normally do so with a fierce determination. Emotions like these would occur when Zoey is indoors for an extended period of time, or when everything is going wrong.
- Being a natural born child at heart, Zoey is full of a seemingly endless curiosity of the unknown. If there's a secret to be known, Zoey will want to know it, no matter how badly anyone else might want to keep it hidden. This can result in her resorting to underhanded tactics (such as lying and pestering) in order to learn whatever forbidden knowledge she's wanting to know about.
- Zoey is a pacifist, and as such, she is afraid of conflict along with disliking it. If a fight can be avoided, she will do whatever she can to keep out of it. If a fight does break out, Zoey will either run the first chance she gets, or at least dodge and weave around her attacker until an opportunity to escape presents itself.

- History:yy
- Zoey Lee Atkins was born in Lousiana, in one of the various swamp lands close to the city of New Orleans. She lived in a family of four, her father, a logger, her mother, a seamstress, and her brother, who was homeschooled. She was raised to believe that her only duty in life was to support her family first, and herself second. As such, she would often have to share everything she owned with her entire family. This lifestyle was the only way she knew how to live, and so for the first 12 years of her life, it was more than enough for the young girl who would often help her mother create articles of clothing for the family.
- When she turned 13, however, her newly formed rebellion against what she thought was a "beehive" home led her to deliberately disobey the teachings of self sacrifice. At nights, she would often take the family boat up the Mississippi, and into New Orleans, a city her parents forbid her to visit because of its "evil". It was there that she took a variety of part time jobs to earn money for herself, which she would spend frivilously on simple pleasures like candy (okay, just candy). For a year, these were the best days of her life.
- One day, the 14 year old Zoey was confronted by her parents about her night time escapes. Furious, and with their trust in their own daughter shattered, they confined Zoey to her room at all times save for the few bathroom or work breaks she was given. In little over a month, Zoey developed a hatred for her parents. Her brother, however, only made her sad. She saw him as a brainwashed student of her parent's ways, and knew that her little brother would never change, and learn to think for himself. It was due in combination of her hatred of her parents, and the sadness she felt towards her brother, that Zoey escaped her family's small home and fled into the swamps with nothing but the clothes on her back, and a satchel stuffed with books on wilderness survival. She would never see her family again.
- As soon as Zoey knew she was finally alone in the swamps, she got to work putting the knowledge of her books to good use. Finding a large tree well above the water and in the shade, she created a small treehouse of sorts for her first few days of gathering food, water, and materials for fire. For the first few months, Zoey's struggle to survive began to pay off, and she etched out a comfortable living of her own. She would discover that she had a way with animals, as they seemed to not be afraid of her (save for the alligators, whom she avoided).
- Soon after her solitary life began successfully, she made her way back to New Orleans on foot. There, she again did odd jobs for money, though instead of candy, she bought building tools like a saw, hammer, and nails. Coming back and forth to the city and her small shelter over the ensuing months would pay off, for on her 15th birthday, Zoey had the tools she needed for a building project.
- Using her tools, Zoey began to build a small cabin out of swamp logs. In the span of a three months, she managed to build a reasonably sized house, and when she sold the excess logs, she purchased materials that she used to create crude pieces of furniture. By the time of the mid-year mark, Zoey had finally created a home of her own.
- Her home renovations complete, Zoey spent the remainder of the year further honing her skills in indentifying plants that were good for medicinal use and finding several vegetarian sources of food. Zoey, throughout her entire struggle for a self-sustaining life, learned to love the outside world and the animals in it. This love soon led to her eventual dislike of her city visits, and when her skills for gathering food were sufficient enough, she decided to not go into New Orleans unless absolutely necessary.
- On her 16th birthday, Zoey decided that she should celebrate with a long time employer of hers, partially due to her liking him. Going to the city, she visited him at the midnight hour while he was in the middle of playing a video game. During their celebration (eating a small bag of gummi worms she bought previously), Zoey's curiosity to try playing her friend's video game overcame her, and she asked to play it for a while as a gift. When her friend conceded and handed her the controller, his small tv screen began to illuminate itself in a bright white color. Before she could react, Zoey was blinded by the light, and she immediately felt weightless.
- Soon to be imbued with the spirits of the animal kingdom, Zoey Atkins had become an Interference.
