The sound interfered with the composition of glistening oil—the lifeblood of Phyrexian living artifice. The second negator arrived in three pieces, having been caught in a maelstrom of energies that Davvol could only begin to guess at. This one leaked oil in a spreading pool, the room’s light flashing over it in a filmy rainbow.
