  1. You see a glint of white and rose up in the trees: just a flash. And striking blue and brown eyes staring down at you. And then, nothing.
  2.
  3. You blink.
  4.
  5. You have emoted: Gurashi glances up slowly.
  6.
  7. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  8.
  9. You hear a rustling and turn to see Esei, riding Dusan, the coruscant, emerging from the undergrowth.
  10.
  11. Faintly buzzing, you whisper, "... Friend Liar...?"
  12.
  13. Ilistala, an enormous leopard blinks incredulously at you.
  14.
  15. You have emoted: Gurashi takes a step forward, looking into the trees as if to get a better look.
  16.
  17. You reach upwards and concentrate on finding a sturdy branch, then lift yourself up with relative ease.
  18. In the trees above before the Black Tower.
  19. ==== You are in the trees ====
  20. Dense white clouds have spread completely across the sky. The thick trees and shrubs part into the small clearing. At the centre of the verdant grasses is a huge structure of black bricks. This tower rises high above the tree-line, a thin spire that looks barely stong enough to withstand a strong wind. High up the western side a smaller spire juts outwards, whilst the main tower continues up to a crenulated top. A large doorway, carved of deep brown oak, leads into the structure. Completely motionless, a slender leothin intently surveys its surroundings.
  21. You see exits leading south and in (open door).
  22.
  23. You look about in confusion.
  24.
  25. Esei tilts their head curiously at you.
  26.
  27. With a melodic lilt, Crowvalier Rekath Ryseni says to you, "You are seeing things, yes?"
  28.
  29. You hear soft laughter somewhere by your feet, the brush of a tail, or two.
  30.
  31. You have emoted: Gurashi opens his mouth to respond, then turns his head sharply, as if responding to a noise, following his gaze down.
  32.
  33. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  34.
  35. You have emoted: Gurashi suddenly looks at those gathered, dazed.
  36.
  37. Faintly buzzing, you ask, "You do not hear the laughing?"
  38.
  39. Esei shakes their head.
  40.
  41. With a melodic lilt, Crowvalier Rekath Ryseni says, "Fairly certain you are going mad. Very common here. Try buying yourself for a while. The quiet helps."
  42.
  43. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  44.
  45. With a melodic lilt, Crowvalier Rekath Ryseni says, "Burying. Yes."
  46.
  47. em rests a hand on the branch before swinging back down, eyes narrowed in focus
  48. You have emoted: Gurashi rests a hand on the branch before swinging back down, eyes narrowed in focus.
  49.
  50. You carefully watch your footing and shimmy down from the treetops.
  51. Before the Black Tower.
  52. Small particles of dust fly through the air, caught up in a moderate gale. Casting darkness all around, a shadow totem thrusts up from the ground, chilling the air. A mature hemlock tree stands proudly here. Nothing more than a puffball with cerulean eyes, a seal lynx point ragdoll kitten lies here lounging languidly. A leopard lurks in the shadows, curiously watching anything that moves. Completely motionless, a slender leothin intently surveys its surroundings. Dusan, a coruscant wyvern, lurks in the shadows here.
  53. You see exits leading south and in (open door).
  54. You cease your clinging behavior and release the tree.
  55. Lifting her head, Ilistala looks at you hopefully.
  56.
  57. You think to yourself: What is it....
  58.
  59. You have emoted: Gurashi takes a deep breath, shutting his eyes as if to listen closely.
  60.
  61. Bizirik, the leothin's nostrils flare, and it begins to sniff the air, lowering its snout to the ground to prod about the grass.
  62.
  63. You think to yourself: Hello?
  64.
  65. Bizirik picks up the faintest scent of fox.
  66.
  67. Bizirik, the leothin's head suddenly rises sharply, ears alert, eyes wide.
  68.
  69. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  70.
  71. Faintly buzzing, you ask, "Bizi?"
  72.
  73. Bizirik, the leothin lowers its head, beginning to stalk off after something, its expression intensely focused.
  74.
  75. You have emoted: Gurashi begins to follow Bizirik curiously, seeming to lose focus on those with him.
  76.
  77. Bizirik trails the scent to the south.
  78.
  79. With a melodic lilt, Crowvalier Rekath Ryseni says, "Have fun, tastybug. Try not to get murdered."
  80.
  81. Bizirik, the leothin's head sweeps sharply to the south, continuing to stalk on.
  82.
  83. With a great sweep of its tail, Bizirik breaks off to the south.
  84.
  85. Esei follows you south.
  86. Deep inside Glomdoring.
  87. Thick, gossamer strands of spider webbing are strung through the air, clinging to the surfaces of trees and rock alike from a shield shrine of Viravain nearby. Small particles of dust fly through the air, caught up in a moderate gale. Three paths fork at this one area, a clearing in the forest. To the northwest, a brackish collection of water is visible through the trees, although the tangled vines and brambles make it impossible to reach from here. The oaks that line the paths to either side hang inwards to the centre of the clearing, shadowing the grass with their long boughs. Long thorns wrap themselves around the lower portion of the trees, as well as spreading out into individual bushes. To the north, a huge black tower rises out of the ground, stretching above the tree line to be visible hundreds of feet above. There are 2 knots of spore grass here. Casting darkness all around, a shadow totem thrusts up from the ground, chilling the air. A mature rowan tree stands proudly here. A grotesque ravenwood tree stands here, branches twisted and knotted. Completely motionless, a slender leothin intently surveys its surroundings. Nothing more than a puffball with cerulean eyes, a seal lynx point ragdoll kitten lies here lounging languidly. A leopard lurks in the shadows, curiously watching anything that moves. Dusan, a coruscant wyvern, lurks in the shadows here.
  88. You see exits leading north, southeast, and southwest.
  89. Lifting her head, Ilistala looks at you hopefully.
  90.
  91. You look about in confusion.
  92.
  93. You have emoted: Gurashi rests a hand on the leothin's back, confused. "Where are we going?" He whispers to the creature, but it does not answer, still snuffling here and there.
  94.
  95. You see another flash of white in the trees, tipped with pink.
  96.
  97. You have emoted: Gurashi continues to follow Bizirik as it snorts and snuffles softly, glancing up into the trees, his eyes narrowed curiously.
  98.
  99. Xenthos tilts back his head and inhales deeply while twitching a wolf's snout.
  100.
  101. Ilistala, an enormous leopard stares implacably at you.
  102.
  103. You think to yourself: What is this...?
  104.
  105. Esei's eyes gaze around the woods as though to see something, lips twisting into a frown.
  106.
  107. You look about in confusion.
  108.
  109. Bizirik's scent eventually leads outside of the Glomdoring.
  110.
  111. Bizirik, the leothin lowers its head and lets out a soft growl, suddenly breaking into a run.
  112.
  113. Faintly buzzing, you say, "Eerk!"
  114.
  115. **RUN**
  116.
  117. Great Southern Highway adjacent to Glomdoring Forest. (road).
  118. The shadowy outline of a twisted forest casts a dark gloom here. It is warm and quite pleasant. Running parallel to the Southern Mountains, the highway meanders through the lower boundaries of the basin of civilization. The ground is smoothed by time, by feet, by beasts of burden, all of whom continually press down upon any vegetation who dares to try to shoot a sprout up in the path of commerce. The highway passes next to Glomdoring Forest, its enormous blackened trees twisted and warped by some tortuous power. The air is thick with the fecund smell of decay. An uneasy sense of foreboding hangs in the air. Nothing more than a puffball with cerulean eyes, a seal lynx point ragdoll kitten lies here lounging languidly. A leopard lurks in the shadows, curiously watching anything that moves. Dusan, a coruscant wyvern, lurks in the shadows here.
  119. You see exits leading southeast, south, and northwest.
  120.
  121. Esei sways back and forth.
  122.
  123. Bizirik, the leothin breaks through the treeline, continuing to snort and snuffling along the road, screeching to a halt. Gurashi is only steps behind it, out of breath and confused.
  124.
  125. Faintly buzzing, you ask Bizirik, the leothin, "What! What! What!?"
  126.
  127. Bizirik, the leothin snorts, tossing its head.
  128.
  129. Esei narrows their eyes to thin slits.
  130.
  131. Striking blue and brown eyes glint at you from shadows by the road.
  132.
  133. You have emoted: Gurashi continues to look about, then pauses, making eye contact with something. He frowns, canting his head.
  134.
  135. Faintly buzzing, you ask, "....hello...?"
  136.
  137. In a flash of white, it's gone.
  138.
  139. Faintly buzzing, you say, "Ah!"
  140.
  141. Ilistala, an enormous leopard chirps happily.
  142.
  143. Esei raises a slender brow.
  144.
  145. You look about in confusion.
  146.
  147. Faintly buzzing, you ask, "What was that? Did see?"
  148.
  149. Faintly buzzing, you ask, "Was...white and pink and blue and brown?"
  150.
  151. Ilistala, an enormous leopard shakes her head at you.
  152.
  153. Faintly buzzing, you ask Bizirik, the leothin, "What did you see Bizi? What was it?"
  154.
  155. Deep in thought, Esei leans their cheek on their hand.
  156.
  157. Bizirik, the leothin begins to whine softly, pacing about in its spot before sitting down. The kephera consoles it by offering a few reassuring pets.
  158.
  159. Bizirik has lost the scent amongst the many upon the road. The trail is cold.
  160.
  161. Esei ponders the situation.
  162.
  163. You look about in confusion.
  164.
  165. Faintly buzzing, you say, "That is so weird..."
