- Jump #170: Biomega
- >Nine of Cups (A state of joy and abundance radiating fulfillment and bliss.)
- Wow, that's pretty strong. Fulfillment for wrapping up the space arc with a missed jump, I guess?
- Oh, and #169 is going to be postdated, it's reserved for the Black Crusade.
- >Age: 21
- >Location: 9JO
- So, exactly where I need to be.
- >Identity: Drop-In
- I went from over
- >Gritty Survivor (Free, Drop-In)
- Sometimes surviving is the best thing someone can do.
- >Hacking Interface (900, Drop-In)
- Hacking is probably going to be important if Plan A does not succeed.
- >Biosynthetics (700, Drop-In)
- Okay, fairly nifty here, being able to figure out the sciences of giving people additions which are machines.
- >Superstructure Dynamics (500, Drop-In)
- Huh. I didn't realize there was another perk geared toward superstructures beside the one in Evangelion. Yoink!
- >Chromosome Analysis Specialist (400)
- So there's a virus running about, screwing up people and their DNA because 24 chromosomes is NOT how science works. Well. Someone's gotta fix this, right?
- >N5SV Adaptation (200)
- And it looks like that someone is going to be me, because I should be able to synthesize a cure in short order.
- >Portable Particle Accelerator [Pistol Variant] (0)
- It's not a black hole pistol, but it IS shiny.
- The world is in peril. I can see this without relying on clairvoyance. While with most settings, I don't want to derail the plot... this one is a different matter. We don't need another superstructure, it was a big enough pain in the ass with Blame.
- I'm not going to go into the details, but this is my first jump after 40k, and suffice it to say that in the last twenty millennia I've learned a LOT about when it's worthwhile to trade a handful of lives for the greater good. Screw the protesting first year philosophy students, it is a moral decision to stop a genocide in progress.
