  1. The Galactic Federation has discovered that the Space Pirates have a successfully cloned population of Metroids: Samus is sent to destroy the space pirate base, and discover how the pirate's technology has advanced enough to preform the cloning successfully. Samus is provided with some map data taken from scans of the planet. However, as Samus and ADAM prepare to land on the planet, a Virus embedded in the data kicks in, knocking Samus's suit offline, and causing the ship to crash.
  2.
  3. After completing a zero suit section at the beginning of the game (where Samus's auto charge pistol has been upgraded to be capable of damaging weaker creatures, though stronger ones can only be stunned), Samus gets the standard power suit back. It is then discovered that, before the crash, ADAM had transferred his data over to Samus's suit, and the Chozo Ruins managed to repair the Suit AI using that data. Thus, Adam becomes your Suit's AI, resulting in him being able to help direct you without having a bunch of navigation rooms. However, the fact that ADAM was injected into the AI of the Suit leads to the next revelation: The data of all of Samus's Upgrades have been quarantined and heavily corrupted due to the virus that hit her suit. Thus, ADAM is placed on Data Recovery while Samus explores the Pirate Base, and makes her way through the environments.

  5. The game will have most of the areas broken up into chunks that can be done in any order, (but there is probably a recommended path) With ADAM giving tips for each section while in them. At one point, there will be a mandatory heat run after falling through some crumble blocks, While ADAM is strugling to get Varia online. "Its going to hurt, but we really don't have any other options."
  6.
  7. One area that I have thought of, is a tall tower like hive, where at the top, you have to face a Ridley boss that takes advantage of the wide open area to fly in and off screen, and generally move far faster than a standard Ridley fight would be. Think some elements of Imago's movement pattern, mixed in along with the typical Ridley fight.
  8.
  9. Not sure how to end the storyline, though, other than managing to find some data in the pirate database implicating a certain GF Scientist? That isn't much, though, and I'm sure that we will need a final boss fight.
  10.
  11. Not entirely sure how mixing some elements of Fusion and Zero Mission would work, when it comes to the disassemblies. Perhaps some bosses could also be taken from Wario Land 4, in order to have some new challenges for Samus to face? Then again, chances are that would be harder than just combining Zero Mission and Fusion's code, so that is a factor to consider. Disassembled data is a pain in the ass to understand, let alone reimplement, so... yeah.
