Letter to Star Council: Regarding Calfuray and Li-varili

Dearest Star Council,

Hello. Is me, Gurashi.

As am sure are aware from most recent events, the world has most certainly been in turmoils, yes. If you are not aware, then please forgive my lengthy but as accurately as I can tell it reports, for I feel that there is a pivotal moments coming up for New Celest determined by what we as a peoples, under the Star Council's leaderships, decides what to do next.

Last month the Lady Carakhan and Lady Even Bladed alongside Lord Nocht called forths all mortals to come and investigate an old bunkers that the Lady Sculptor had created in the past. The Lady Li-varili had been hiding within it, yes, in the times before She used the Eye? After She woke up. It was a troves of Her treasures, yes, gifts given to She. Many gifts, including many notable ones from Miss Calfuray (no less than four between the items on the shelves and a painting she mentioned that we witnessed in a memories). There was also a nereid, yes, who had been lost to time and sealed away in a statuesque states. She had the Lady of Lagoon's secrets.

Together New Celest worked with those from around the Basins to collect the ingredients for the potions that would free the nereid, yes. For it was she who held the Pearl Tear of Li-varili, the way to breaks the enchantments protecting the compass, keeping everyone from using it to find the Sea Spirits. We then went to the Thalassoses, all three of them in the Undersea of Keph, the Seas of Despairs, and finally the Inner Sea one kept in New Celest's Sanctifier guild hall. With the guidance of Mister Manchal, former Aquamancer guild tutors, and again with the aids of all those gathered, we were ables to empower the compass. However, the resulting use caused each Thalassos to shatter and drain, destroyed forevers... It was heartbreaking, and emotional to witness.

With the compass empowered The Lady Carakhan imbued Her magics into it, and together with our friends, enemies, and otherwise, followed the paths the Sea Spirits left to us. Eventually it took us to the tunnels of the Undervaults, to a hidden chasm housings a strange terrible place ... I thinks it was the Leviathan's Cradle? Yes. One had to JUMP down to reach it. The Sea Spirits had fled here... and then we found something most terrible and unexpected. We found the Sea-Bringer, Keltari.

Except, it wasn't. Because the Elder was dead, gone. No - this was an imposters, a simulacra. We slayed the fake one and fought many illithoid assimilators and other strangely mimics of the Sea-Bringer! We all learned that it was Illith had been whispering promises to Lady Li-varili, while She was locked up and alone forgotten at the bottom of the sea all those years ago, promising Her that She could be with Keltari again, drove Her mad with this lie, twisting Her already broken hearts, making such empty promises. At the end of our journey, we found the Sea Spirits shackled at the behests of an illithoid called Encephalist Iloggoth. They said when we tried to fight them: "You will not take my birthright - it is Mother's will that we see this done". [note: this was all shouted very loudly in our brains and not spoken with out loud words] We together killed the strange leader of this terrible place, and the shackles holding the spirits were free.

[additional note: The Magnagorans seemed entirely unsurprised, even bored to learns that Illith had been whispering to the Lady of Lagoons - this callous disregard for such a terrible knowledge and discovery still makes my bloods boil. My Most Beloved was VERY angry too, yes, to discover that the Lady Li-varili and Illith had been conspirings]

When all quieted, the Lady Sculptor came, and the Sea Spirits knew Her, came to Her. The Lady agreed to sing her to sleep, the poor little Spirits who had known nothing but suffering. Aided by all those Divine that came before to try and stop the Lady Li-varili in Her awakening, They woke up too, yes. The Lord Nocht and Lady Terentia, the Lady Empyreal and Bloom of Serenity - even my Most Beloved, the Resin Child Mysrai came to coax the Spirits back to sleep, so that the terrible weather could end, and her suffering could finally end. Their song was so beautiful, Their power and joined efforts combined was enough to make the souls cry out in joy after so much heartbreak. The most bittersweet of outcomes. Many tears, many sad feelies, when it finally worked...

It was when the Lord Nocht called aloud to the Basins that the Lady Empyreal's attention would have to be away from the cocoons that those gathered with me still felt very uneasy. And it is this parts that I feel is VERY importants, so I asks that you read it carefully, for I have recounted the events to the most accurates that my brains can possibly manage. The Truths matters and I vowed with all of my hearts to be Honest when I took the Salted Oaths, and I need to makes sure that some VERY IMPORTANT THINGS are made clearly in the wakes of last month's events.

Myself, Tridemon, Cheliyi, and Tikki arrived at the cocoons to find Avaris, Calioliahali, Steingrim, Evette, and <Calfuray> of the Shadowlight alliance already present. Also present were Uzriel, Sutekh, Zagreus, Kailanna, Veldrin, and Sapphira, as well the two nereids that had taken up residences inside the Lady of Lagoons's Fulcrux, Oinone and Iaira. They knew the Lady Empyreals's attentions would be distracted and the cocoons vulnerables, and so they cames to wake She. Many of the Magnagorans present were wearing she'nasim nereid disguises, yes, but was unable to identify which was which in my hastes.

It was in that moments that the Bloodtide Covens sang together with the nereids, and the magics that was protecting the misty wisps broke because the Lady Empyreals was trying to put the Sea Spirits to sleep. The nereid Iaira made a claims that "The Enchantress spoke true; Her song has broken the last of the Empyreal's power on this place", so they KNEW what they were doing.

Then, the nereids Oinone spoke up and called to the gathering before the cocoon, words for words: "Quickly, quickly! Slaughter the wisps and bring them before the Lady Li-varili, that we can awake Her from this unending nightmare before the Hamadhi returns!"

In our haste to help, I was unable to keeps up with Miss Calfuray, but immediately Miss Sapphira began to attack the wisps at the mound and Miss Calfuray left the cocoons without hesitations, vanishing from my sights. Many Magnagorans did, including Kailanna, Sutekh, and Uzriel. Xenthos of the Glomdoring chased after thems immediately after. Our alliance was in chaos at this point, exhausted beyond comprehensions - Shadowlights was discussing whether or not we attack the Bloodtide Coven members and those who would aids them. We were uncertains if raising arms would do any goods.

I attempted to coax the wisps into my packs while they were alive for hiding, but they were soonly attacked by Zagreus. Mister Uzriel was overhead saying "Do you have anything we can use to help hold the bloody wisps still?" so am certain he was attacking alongsides his wifey. We returned to the cocoons to see what was happening, and those who had killed the wisps were put into the cocoons, weakening the Magnolias before our very eyes and undoing the Lady Empyreal's hard work.

Now I address the points Miss Calfuray was so quicks to point out earlier this months: our allies killing the wisps.

I can confirm that, yes, Xenthos left after the other Coven members. And then, he came directly to me, in the midst of all the chaos while our allies scrambled for an ideas of what to do, and he gave ME healing wispy corpses, eleven in total. He said to me over the aethers: "Keep those safe. Stay here with them." My hearts was breakings, yes. To know he was having to murder the wisps to keeps them from being used by the nereids in a manner that is very antithesis to the reasons for their being. A very Glomdorian approaches. But I assented, yes, because at the times the whole of our alliance was at a loss, and Xenthos sought to take quick albeit brutal actions to keep the Lady Li-varili asleeps. I do not faults him for his actions, and am grateful, for the wispies we held delayed the release as longly as we could. A drop in the buckets against a great tides of terrible, but I do not feel his intentions were malicious, or against Our Lady Empyreals or Our City, and will continue to defends him in this.

After everybody reconvened at the cocoons, Tridemon asked Miss Calfuray what she would say to him if he asked her to stop conspiring with the Magnagorans, and in Miss Calfuray's words, WORDS for WORDS: "That I merely do what my sisters ask me to, not what those of the tainted city conspire." It was not a minute later that the cocoons split open, and the Lady Li-varili arose in a furious rage felt across all planes.

I would refer to my earlier statements about the Oinone's requests regarding the cocoons and the wisps, and Calfuray's immediate response to it.

The gifts at the bunker. The lacks of remorse when questioned. The making light of that which our very city holds dear: The Light. She admits to serving the nereids, and the nereids openly admits to conspiring against the Lady Empyreals. This alone is an action against the Divine Pantheons that keeps our dearly city safe, and upholds the Lights. What the Lady Li-varili sought then and seeks now is Power. Her Love has been corrupted by Her hurts and pains, and now that She is free we are all at risks all over again, and I for one do NOT feel comfortables allowing Calfuray, who so openly coherts and fawns and unapologetically defends all the cruel and selfishly acts that the Lady of Lagoons does, to continue to be allowed to serves in the city as she currently is. I do not think she is deserving of the title of Duchess. I do not think she is deservings of being the tattooing Trademasters, rarity or not. And I am most CERTAINLY not feeling she is deservings of the title Oathsworn, for all the lies and deceits and cheats the nereids she so openly pledges loyalty to. Her answer whenever asked about the Covens is always the same: "The Blood Tide Coven does not exist without the guidance of Lady Li-Varili." This does not boast comforts.

What other evidence must I bring before you to beg that some actions be taken? Have tried to speaks with her to understands her, have been as patient as I thinks I can possibly -be- on this matter. Peoples call me Wise and say they respect my opinions, and if that is the case, then let me make clear that I have no doubts in my hearts that Miss Calfuray will continue to abuse our trusts and her priveleges so long as the Lady Li-varili is awakes and free. What sorts of message would it sends to the alliance if they would see us harbor someones so readily willing to forsake the safety of the Basin's for the whims of an unstable, hate-filled Goddess who has turned away the Love and aid of all Our Ladies, My Most Beloved, and even the Lord Silence?

I will not stand for it. These actions do not reflect the teachings of the Light. There is a points where Compassions needs to be tempered by Wisdoms and this is one of those times. I will have continue to haves Fortitudes like the Lady Shakiniel would asks of me, continue to plea this case until see that Justice is done in SOME ways, shapes, or forms.
