  1. You wake up sitting on a...bed? What the hell? You weren't on a bed before...the last thing you remember is chasing down Ryes...and then an explosion. You quickly get sit up only to feel immense pain in your torso, looking down you can tell that you've suffered some serious damage. What the hell happened? You look outside and see a structure that you shouldn't be seeing
  2.
  3. "WHAT THE HELL?!" you shout at the top of your lungs "Why am I in France?!"
  4.
  5. You jump out of bed, ignoring the pain from your wounds and continue looking around outside the window. You're really in France...but whose room are you in? You have no contacts in France at all, and you've seen those movies about the sex-slave traders...but looking around the room, it's much to clean for that.
  6.
  7. The door swings open as a young girl looks at you frantically. She takes your hand trying to pull you back into bed.
  8.
  9. "Que faites-vous?! Vous ne pouvez pas savoir à quel point vous êtes gravement blessé!"
  10.
  11. You manage to keep yourself rooted on the spot though as the girl tries to pull you with all her might.
  12.
  13. "S-stop en difficulté! Tu dois te reposer!"
  14.
  15. You are Jane Ackerman, and what the absolute fuck have you gotten yourself into?
  16.
  17. >I don't speak French!
  18. >WHY AM I IN FRANCE?!
  19. >Who are you?!
  20. >Push her off, you've got to get back home...somehow.
  21. >Other/Write-in
  22.
  23. >No habla French
  24.
  25. Shit, you have no idea what this girl is saying. Think Jane think...time to wing it.
  26.
  27. "Uh...No habla es French!"
  28.
  29. Nailed it
  30.
  31. The girl looks at you for a moment before sighing "I see...I had a feeling you were American, but you were speaking Spanish, not French."
  32.
  33. "Same thing right?" You say rubbing your head bashfully
  34.
  35. "No...they're quite different actually."
  36.
  37. "Heh...uh, right, so why am I in France?"
  38.
  39. "Well I was hoping you could tell me that. You just so happened to wash up on a shore near a private villa of mine. We were able to find a wrecked plane further out...what happened?"
  40.
  41. You're silent for a moment, you aren't sure what to tell her, you can't just casually mention that you're a superhero who got tricked at the last moment. You'd totally look uncool if you mentioned that.
  42.
  43. >I don't want to talk about it
  44. >Were there any survivors?
  45. >How long have I been out?
  46. >I...I gotta get home.
  47. >Other/Write-in
  48.
  49. >Were there any survivors?
  50. >How long have I been out?
  51. >Give her your best badass stare
  52. >"We hit some turbulence."
  53.
  54. "Were there any survivors?" You ask
  55.
  56. "You were the only one. There were...several bodies, all of them badly burnt beyond recognition, but you managed to get out well enough."
  57.
  58. "I see. Well, how long have I been out?"
  59.
  60. "You were badly hurt. I'm surprised you were alive at all. You've been out for at least a week now, maybe more."
  61.
  62. "A week?!"
  63.
  64. "E-er...yes, you really shouldn't be up and moving though, you could hurt yourself...how did that plane go down anyway?"
  65.
  66. You think for a moment before straigtening up and giving your most badass stare
  67.
  68. "We hit some turbulence." You state bluntly
  69.
  70. "I...I'd like to think that it was a bit more than that. I think the plane was on fire before you even hit the water, at least that's what the police thought."
  71.
  72. Shit, she's sharper than she lets on.
  73.
  74. >Forget about it, when I go home?
  75. >How about you show me around? I've never been to this part of the world before
  76. >Just who are you anyway?
  77. >Other/Write-in
  78.
  79. >Turns out seagulls and jet engines make fire just as well as sticks and rocks
  80. >Just who are you anyway?
  81.
  82. "Turns out seagulls and jet engines make fire just as well as sticks and rocks." You say jokingly "Look, who are you anyway?"
  83.
  84. "O-oh right, you wouldn't know me, this is the first time we've spoke. I'm Mireille Laurent, a pleasure to meet you."
  85.
  86. "Jane Ackerman. I don't mean to be rude, but when can I go home?"
  87.
  88. "Not right now, you really shouldn't be moving, if your wounds open up you'll be even worse off than you were before."
  89.
  90. You let out a sigh, Mireille is right much to your chagrin. You can feel your body aching just from having hopped out of bed as you did. A dull thumping pain coursing throughout your entire body.
  91.
  92. "Well, okay, that's fine. But I gotta go back eventually."
  93.
  94. "And you will, but get better first. Where do you live anyway?"
  95.
  96. "Rosen City. You know it?"
  97.
  98. "Sorry, but no...well, not personally. My mother does though, she'd probably be more than willing to help you get back."
  99.
  100. >Sounds good, mind if we go speak to her then?
  101. >I'm hungry, know any good places to get to some food?
  102. >Try to get in contact with the others
  103. >Other/Write-in
  104.
  105. >I'm hungry, know any good places to get to some food?
  106.
  107. That's interesting to note. Looks like getting home won't be as difficult as you thought. As you think on how to actually get on the plane (You have no passport), you're interrupted by a loud noise coming from your body.
  108.
  109. Groooooowl
  110.
  111. You look down with embarrassment, as Mireille stifles some laughter
  112.
  113. "Um...you know any good places to get some food?" You ask sheepishly
  114.
  115. "Yes, I suppose the fresh air would do you good, come along I'll show you to my favorite place."
  116.
  117. After getting dressed, the two of you walk the streets. They're surprisingly smaller than the ones you've seen back home and looks as if some of the alleyways actually house some shops of their own. It's a bit surprising for you, but still it's quite serene in its own way. It's not too long before you're finally at a small shop and seated.
  118.
  119. "Go on and eat as much as you like, you'll need your energy." Mireille states
  120.
  121. Your stomach growls again. You suddenly feel the crushing hunger well up inside of you...
  122.
  123. Well she did say as much as you like right?
  124.
  125. >Eat all the things
  126. >Be reserved, you aren't a pig!
  127. >Other/Write-in
  128.
  129. >Be reserved
  130. >But swipe a few pieces with the ghost powers to quell the HUNGER
  131.
  132. You decide to be a bit more reserved with your eating. Despite how hungry you are, you keep your order to a minimum, after all, you know how it is with these places, they swear that all American people are super big eaters, which you aren't you are a lady and will conduct yourself as such.
  133.
  134. ...That still doesn't stop you from swiping a few extra helpings from the kitchen when you 'go to the bathroom' only to ghost to the kitchen for a quick second to snag a few bites of their food. It's pretty good.
  135.
  136. You're not a pig for this...right?
  137.
  138. Eventually your food comes just as you return from the 'bathroom' and sit down. Mirielle's plate is smaller than yours, whereas you ordered enough for two plates, and you waste no time quelling the hunger that has risen within you.
  139.
  140. "So tell me, where you born here?"
  141.
  142. "Ah yes, I'm native to France, but mother is from America. She left there many years ago after a falling out with her first husband."
  143.
  144. "Ouch, sounds bad."
  145.
  146. "Oh think nothing of it, Mother has said she's quite happy here. Though sometimes...I do see her seem a bit sad. Whenver I ask, she simply says its nothing."
  147.
  148. "Sounds rough. Well, sorry to hear that, but I'm-"
  149.
  150. Before you can say anything else, the two of you are thrown from your seats as some thing comes crashing through the window.
  151.
  152. Numerous screams are heard from all around you as everyone begins rushing out of the place. Thanks to your wounds, you have a hard time getting to your feet as Mirielle tries her best to help you.
  153.
  154. "What the hell is that thing." You grunt
  155.
  156. "I...I don't know, but we have to run!"
  157.
  158. >Get Mirielle to safety
  159. >Split up from her, transform
  160. >You're way too banged up. Run away
  161. >other/Write-in
  162.
  163. >Tell Mirielle to run, having 2 targets together is suicide
  164. >Transform
  165.
  166. "Run Mirielle!" you exclaim
  167.
  168. "Are you insane? I can't leave you behind!" she states trying to drag you along, the monster locks eyes on you and fires...something from his mouth. It takes all your power to push Mirielle out of the way, the blast just barely missing you both. Mirielle falls to the opposite side of you as the monster appears in front of you.
  169.
  170. "GO!" you shout
  171.
  172. Realizing that there's nothing to do about the situation, Mirielle flees the seen, crawling around until she sees an opening to flee from. The monster is still looking at you, and it opens its mouth again, ready to fire. No one is around, so you quickly ghost through the floor, going through the bottom of the building and a block or two away. You can see police heading to the scene. They'll definitely not be able to handle that thing on their own.
  173.
  174. "Didn't think I'd have to do this on an impromptu vacation...but here it goes. Orange Sun, Realize!"
  175.
  176. You transform into your armored state. You should be able to put up more of a fight this way, but you definitely feel more haggered than usual. Your wounds are slowing you down for sure. As if on cue the monster appears in front of you again. Is it...following you?
  177.
  178. Great...you have a stalker.
  179.
  180. Your wounded state has severely impacted your fighting abilities!
  181.
  182. >Roll 1d100-10
  183.
  184. >90-10=80
  185.
  186. You dodge out of the way of the blast from the monster, calling in your ghost bit, you have it eat another blast that the creature fires at you. But instead of simply having your bit swallow the thing, you instead have it blast back at it. You swear that the monster's eyes widen for just a second before the blast strikes it, sending it flying back through several buildings. You follow after it, hoping to follow up on the attack.
  187.
  188. The monster bursts out of some rubble. It looks only slightly worse for wear, but you can feel yourself heaving already. Mirielle was right, your wounds are a lot worse than you thought and all the moving around isn't doing you any good.
  189.
  190. The monster lets out a sickening roar as it gets back to its feet.
  191.
  192. "Aw come on just stay dead! Please? is it too much to ask?!"
  193.
  194. You do a quick look around just to be sure no innocents are around. There's no telling what other kind of attacks it has up its sleeve.
  195.
  196. "Come on, hit me with your best shot! I can take it!"
  197.
  198. >1d100-10 again!
  199.
  200. 24-10=14
  201.
  202. Despite your bravado, you aren't ready for the enemy's next attack. Instead of opening fire with its mouth-cannon like before, this time it instead digs its arms into the ground, catching you off guard. What happens next is the monster's arms springing forth from the ground and grasping themselves around you.
  203.
  204. "Gnnnnngh!" You grun trying to break free. You can feel this thing trying to crush you!
  205.
  206. "G-gotta break free...!" you gasp out trying to summon as much strength as possible, still it's getting a bit hard to breathe, and you can feel some wetness on your body...
  207.
  208. Your wounds have definitely reopened. Which means you're feeling even weaker than you did before. Still, you think about Red, if it were him in this situation, he'd have kept fighting even he were seconds away from death.
  209.
  210. You've got to try. You've got to break free!
  211.
  212. >1d100-10, break free!
  213.
  214. >59-10=49
  215.
  216. You try and try to keep yourself from being crushed to death, but it's no use. You just can't find the strength to pull it off. You feel your transformation drop, and this only gives the creature an easier time to strangle you.
  217.
  218. "D-dammit all." You sputter out
  219.
  220. As you sit there feeling life leave you, you're surprised when you see Mirielle trying to in vain break you free.
  221.
  222. "W-what are you-?"
  223.
  224. "Be quiet, we're having a talk later, but for now, I'm going to get you out of here!"
  225.
  226. She tries in vain to pull you free, only for the monster to deliver a sickening hit to her stomach with one of his free arms. Knocking the wind out of her.
  227.
  228. "N-no, I've got to help..." Mirielle mutters
  229.
  230. You look out of the corner of your eye to see...someone helping her out? His armor is similar to yours. That can't be Red...and it's definitely not one of the others either.
  231.
  232. "Do you really want to help?" he asks
  233.
  234. "Who are you?"
  235.
  236. "Do you want to help?" He asks again
  237.
  238. "Y-yes!" Mirielle pants deseperately "I've got to, I know we've not known one another long, but she's in trouble and-!"
  239.
  240. "Say no more. However, if you want to work...you'll have to work for me now. Agreed?"
  241.
  242. "Yes, Please! Whatever!"
  243.
  244. "Then awaken. You will now be known as Black Hole."
  245.
  246. "Black...Hole?" Mirielle mutters taking the device in her hand
  247.
  248. Before she can say anything else, a light engulfs her, causing the monster to drop you and stare. You weakly cough as you gasp for air, you're bleeding pretty heavily and you can barely keep yourself awake as you see Mirielle as her transformation completes.
  249.
  250. "This is...strange." She mutters looking at her new armored self, "Hey, what is this?"
  251.
  252. But her question isn't answered as whoever that was...that man in the armor...is gone.
  253.
  254. Of course, now the creatures eyes are trained on Mirielle
  255.
  256. "U-Ummm...hi?"
  257.
  258. The monster lets out a roar before moving in to attack her.
  259.
  260. >You're now in control of Black Hole
  261.
  262. >You should probably roll 1d100+10 to not die
  263.
  264. >86+10=96
  265.
  266. "G-get away!" you exclaim throwing your hands up in fright, what happens next surprises you as a black hole forms in front of you. The creature has to stop itself and clings to a wrecked building to in an attempt to keep itself from being sucked in.
  267.
  268. "W-what in the world...?" you mutter in shock as you stare at your hands
  269.
  270. "Okay...okay, I've seen a few cartoons from when I was a child I can do this...I can do this!"
  271.
  272. You jump a lot higher than you were expecting. So much in fact that you overshoot it a bit and go above the creature instead of towards it. That said, you've got a good position to attack it. as you begin falling you angle yourself so that you face downwards. The monster shoots a blast from its mouth at you, but calling forth another black hole, you absord it as you continue falling.
  273.
  274. You manage to land directly on the monster's head fist first, a loud gurgling crunching noise being heard as it goes flying towards the ground.
  275.
  276. "D-did that do it?" you mutter
  277.
  278. The monster gets back to its feet, staggering, but still looking ready to fight...
  279.
  280. "Guess not..."
  281.
  282. You've got to finish this quick and help Jane!
  283.
  284. >Roll 1d100+10
  285.
  286. >43+10=53
  287.
  288. You attempt to try and create another black hole, this time to suck the creature in, unfortunately for you, it seems to have gotten wise to your ability and instead leaps over it just as you create it. It lands atop you pinning you to the ground, and attempting to fire directly into your face.
  289.
  290. It's close range, so the blast isn't nearly as powerful(the thing is probably aware it'd kill itself if it went full blast) and you just barely manage to move your head to the side to dodge it. This isn't an ideal situation and you seriously need to get it off of top of you before it manages to get a hit on you.
  291.
  292. You dodge a few more shots from it, before the thing appears fed up and gets ready to bring one of its clawed hands down on your face.
  293.
  294. Gotta act fast!
  295.
  296. >1d100+10
  297.
  298. >77+10=87
  299.
  300. You see your opening just as the monster brings its arms towards you. In a quick motion, you make a black hole directly in front of its arm. It's arm is descending too fast and its arm is caught in the black hole!
  301.
  302. That's all you need.
  303.
  304. You watch as the monster deseprately tries to keep from being sucked in. It claws to the outside trying to find solid ground strong enough to plant into and keep safe, but the conflict in the surrounding area has weakened the ground enough that it can't hold on and you watch as its sucked inside. The monster lets out a blood curdling scream as its body disappears into the void.
  305.
  306. It's over...
  307.
  308. "Th-thank Goodness..." you look around for Jane, and getting a look at her she's in bad shape...several wounds have reopened and she's breathing albeit it barely. You don't even give it a second thought as you pick her up and rush her to a nearby hospital.
  309.
  310. *One Week Later...*
  311.
  312. Once again you find yourself waking up in a room you aren't too familiar with. This time though, it's a hospital bed and you look around to get a grasp of your surroundings, it doesn't look like anyone is here...what the hell happened?
  313.
  314. >Needless to say, but you're back in control of Jane
  315.
  316. >Call a Nurse
  317. >No use hanging around here, ghost out
  318. >Try to remember what happened...
  319. >Other/Write-in
  320.
  321. >Try to remember what happened
  322.
  323. Okay...got to remember what happened. You went out to eat...and then an monster attacked and...
  324.
  325. Oh crap!
  326.
  327. Mirielle! You don't know what happened to her, but all you know is that she tried to save you and got hurt for her troubles. You remember some guy in armor similar to yours appearing too, just who was he? You blacked out after that, but you're guessing by the fact that you're in a hospital room is that you're alive. But is she alive?
  328.
  329. "Don't worry, your friend is fine." a voice states next to you
  330.
  331. What he hell-Ah!" you say nearly falling out of the bed
  332.
  333. "Calm down Orange Sun." The figure states
  334.
  335. "W-who are you?"
  336.
  337. "Oh right, you don't know me. I'm Xumir, God of Justice...and your boss."
  338.
  339. "My what?!"
  340.
  341. "Look, I've have alarming concerns to deal with, so I'll get straight to the point, I need you and Black Hole back in Rosen City."
  342.
  343. You cock your head to the side at his words "Okay...but what's going on? What was that thing?"
  344.
  345. "One of Lioxal's creations...she probably targeted you realizing you were alone."
  346.
  347. "How the hell did she know I was here...?"
  348.
  349. "She's got powers on the same level of Omni, finding someone blessed with my power isn't difficult, even in her current state. I can't talk much, Black Hole is coming, fill her in and then get back home."
  350.
  351. With that Xumir leaves just as the door opens.
  352.
  353. "...Jane! You're awake!" Mirielle exclaims happily "It's good to see you up!" however, just as quickly as she was all smiles, a more serious look appears on her face "I think we need to talk."
  354.
  355. >Heh...y-yeah...about that
  356. >We're going to Rosen City. ASAP.
  357. >How long have I been out this time?
  358. >Other/Write-in
  359.
  360. >>We're going to Rosen City. ASAP.
  361.
  362. "We're going to Rosen City. ASAP." You state plainly
  363.
  364. "H-huh?! But-"
  365.
  366. "No time to talk, I think my friends might be in trouble. Help me out of here." You say getting to your feet.
  367.
  368. "But you're hurt!"
  369.
  370. "I'll be okay. Come on, we really have to go."
  371.
  372. "But...can I at least say goodbye to my mom?"
  373.
  374. "Sure, I've been wanting to meet her." You say heading for the door
  375.
  376. It takes some doing, but you manage to get released from the hospital, and after some waiting around you're met by a limo. You nearly forgot that Mirielle is from a well off family (How else would she have a villa?). But what really strikes you is the woman sitting in the car when the two of you get inside.
  377.
  378. "Hello there. You're my daughter's friend yes?"
  379.
  380. >Sadie...?
  381. >Uh............
  382. >........
  383.
  384. >Uh yeah...sorry for the boober. I mean bother! But thanks for looking after me when I was, tit's really appreciated. I mean...sorry about this, I'm still kind of woozy from the whole thing so I'm not really at my breast just now.
  385. >.....................
  386. >I'm going to shut up now.
  387.
  388. You look at the woman. Besides the fact that she looks alarmingly familiar, you can't help but notice something about her dress...noticeably two body parts in particular
  389.
  390. "Uh yeah...sorry for the boober. I mean bother! But thanks for looking after me when I was, tit's really appreciated. I mean...sorry about this, I'm still kind of woozy from the whole thing so I'm not really att my breast just now."
  391.
  392. Mirielle and her mother are both quiet as the driver takes off. Both of them just staring at you
  393.
  394. "I'm...gonna shut up now." you say blushing
  395.
  396. "It's fine...I'm just glad you're okay. Jane was it?"
  397.
  398. "Y-yeah...that's me."
  399.
  400. "Now then, I was told by my daughter that...you could explain that thing on her wrist?"
  401.
  402. Your eyes go wide as you look at Mirielle "You *told* her?!"
  403.
  404. "Why wouldn't I?! I had to tell someone!"
  405.
  406. "You don't' tell your family you're a superhero!" you exclaim
  407.
  408. "Why not? It's not a big deal, I'd rather have my family know in case something happens! Who said I can't anyway?"
  409.
  410. "Hyper Hero Force 5 season 1 episode 16!"
  411.
  412. "...What?"
  413.
  414. You go silent as you facepalm...you really need to remember that you're in real life and not a kid's tv show.
  415.
  416. "N-never mind..."
  417.
  418. >So you're from Rosen City right?
  419. >Explain all the things
  420. >Continue staring at Mirielle's mother...she can't really be related to who you think
  421. >other/write-in
  422.
  423. >So did Sadie get her chest from her father or something?
  424. >Explain all the things
  425.
  426. "Fine...guess I've got no choice but to explain."
  427.
  428. And so you do, you tell the two of them everything. From how you got your powers, to the weird monsters you encountered, to fighting the assassins (You leave out the orgy though, that's your personal business) and how you *really* ended up here. Needless to say that Mirielle and her mother are left speechless by the time you're finished.
  429.
  430. "Whoa...so you actually work with Red Meteor?" Mirielle asked
  431.
  432. "Sure do, I'm surprised you know about him." you reply
  433.
  434. "The entire world does. You really think videos of him haven't appeared online?"
  435.
  436. "Good point. But yeah, and now *you* get to meet him too. We have to get back to Rosen City on the double, who knows what's going on right now."
  437.
  438. "Right...mother can you arrange things for us?"
  439.
  440. "I suppose I can. It shouldn't be too hard. But you're still going to school!"
  441.
  442. "What?! B-but-!"
  443.
  444. "No buts!"
  445.
  446. This entire time, you can't stop looking at Mirelle's mother. So much so that you sort of just blurt out your next few words.
  447.
  448. "So did Sadie get her chest from her father or something?"
  449.
  450. The entire car goes quiet as the woman turns to glance at you. "How do you know that name?"
  451.
  452. "Huh?"
  453.
  454. "That name...how do you know it?"
  455.
  456. >Sadie's one of us too
  457. >I'm her girlfriend...sorta
  458. >Just...who *are* you then?
  459. >Other/Write-in
  460.
  461. >I'm her girlfriend...sorta
  462. >Just...who are you then?
  463.
  464. "Well I'm her girlfriend...sorta." You're still not too sure on how the relationship ties work out, but you think that's accurate. "And just who are you then?"
  465.
  466. "I'm...her mother. I'm Miranda Stafford. Is...is my little girl caught up in this too?"
  467.
  468. You feel as if a nuclear bomb just went off inside your head. You aren't sure how to go about this, but hey, you've been honest so far!
  469.
  470. "Yeah...she's in on this entire thing."
  471.
  472. "I...I see. Then...this is...this is good."
  473.
  474. "How...?"
  475.
  476. "Mirielle...you'll stay with your sister. I...I can't get in contact with her, but explain things and I'm sure she'll be willing to help...I hope."
  477.
  478. "But I don't know what she looks like..."
  479. "Oh...I...I do have a picture of when she was younger, maybe it'll help." She replies fishing out an old photo. "It's not much to go off of...but it's all I have left."
  480.
  481. "Aw hey, she's kinda cute!" you say with a chuckle There's no way those things are recessive! you think to yourself as you sneak another look at Miranda's boobs
  482.
  483. Sadie must have really just gotten screwed in the genetic lottery. Looking at Mirielle, even you can tell she's got more of a chest than her
  484.
  485. "I have but one request. I'll get you to Rosen...but please tell Sadie I love her...and I miss her."
  486.
  487. You nod in understanding...you get the feeling that there's some...family issues going on here. Nothing you can really do about it though.
  488.
  489. "...And that's what happened!" you exclaim to everyone in the room
  490.
  491. "So you...met my mom?" Sadie asks
  492.
  493. "Yeah, she's hot! Like, damn if she weren't married I would have-
  494.
  495. "No more please." Helena interrupts "But...wow, you were really going through it weren't you?"
  496.
  497. "Hey, all part of the hero business. But I've gotta get home...I've got some explaining to do."
  498.
  499. "Explaining?" Sanja inquires
  500.
  501. "I've been gone for weeks...I'm screwed guys. I have to let my parents know what happened."
  502.
  503. Everyone goes silent realizing you have a point. You can't simply play off your disappearance like that.
  504.
  505. "Well...be sure to call me...I get the feeling this'll be rough." Saya said with a sigh "And please leave out the part of you ogling an older woman."
  506.
  507. "No promises!" You say with a grin as you leave Sadie's house...boy you were gonna be in deep shit when you got home
  508.
  509. >To Be Continued
