- Hair Changing Solution
- Use/Effect
- The mild formulation of the Hair-Changing Potion is used to alter the coloration of a person’s hair.
- Ingredients
- Water (500 mL)
- Belladonna (2g; crushed)
- Nettles (5g; dried & powdered)
- Moonstone (Whole)
- Optional Ingredients
- Rose Petals (Red, Pink, or White)
- Orchid Petals (Purple)
- Sunflower Petals (Yellow)
- Hibiscus Petals (Yellow or Blue)
- Instructions
- place moonstone in cauldron and add water
- boil water for 5 minutes
- add belladonna and nettles
- boil for 5 minutes
- reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes
- stir, 20 full strokes clockwise followed by 2 full strokes counter-clockwise
- remove cauldron from heat source
- add four petals of your chosen flower, color guide below
- stir four full strokes clockwise
- cover the cauldron until potion cools completely
- strain the potion and filter into a bottle.
- Use
- Rinse hair thoroughly with 200mL of the solution with excess water per use. Hair should begin to change color as hair begins to dry.
- Notes
- Belladonna (also known as deadly nightshade) is highly poisonous and this potion should not be ingested.
- Remaining potion should be used within seven days, after expiration use of the potion will leave hair discolored and not as vibrantly colored.
- Hair color will remain for 24-48 hours, as this is a mild solution.
- Moonstone may be dried, cleaned and reused.
- Red Rose Petals Red Hair
- Pink Rose Petals Pink Hair
- White Rose Petals White Hair
- Orchid Petals Purple Hair
- Sunflower Petals Shiny Bright Blonde Hair
- Yellow Hibiscus Petals Dirty Blonde Hair
- Blue Hibiscus Petals Blue Hair
- Combinations will work, but only if differently colored petals are of the same plant genus (ie green can only be achieved by mixing Blue and Yellow Hibiscus Petals. Blue Hibiscus and Sunflower would not work.) Not all color combinations guaranteed to work as expected, proceed with caution. Ratios in petals will effect hue of mixed colors, ie more blue than yellow would result it a more bluish green hue.
