Gunnhildr Skeggjöld Ferromancy 3

[13:48] Adahy says, "-- Keh, I'd say deal but... Well. We'll see."
[13:49] Gunnhildr Skeggjöld says, "Ah."
[13:49] Gunnhildr Skeggjöld asks, "Adahy. How's it goin mate?"
[13:50] Adahy says, "Doing good Gunnh--... Gunni--... Gun. Keh, by the way Rain's right there if you got questions on metal magic."
[13:50] Cyrus Greengrass says, "God god..."
[13:50] Cyrus Greengrass asks, "How long was I under... you?"
[13:50] Gunnhildr Skeggjöld says, "Ah."
[13:51] Adahy hooks a thumb towards the blond artificer behind him. Popping off the bench he'd hold out the bag of feet to Agrien.
(Adahy)
[13:51] Gunnhildr Skeggjöld asks, "So you are a wielder ain't that right mate?"
[13:51] Agrien Vandroy asks, "Hope this is a fair price?"
[13:51] Fors asks, "Agri. You were looking for ores, right?"
[13:52] Adahy exclaims, "Hel-- Yeah, yeah! More than I've seen usually, keh!"
[13:52] Rain says, "Um. Sort of. Am still learning, but would say I am quite good, yes."
[13:52] Agrien Vandroy exclaims, "I still am, Fors!"
[13:52] Fors asks, "What kinds?"
[13:52] Adahy exclaims, "Thank you!"
[13:52] Gunnhildr Skeggjöld says, "I have only gotten so far with my training, though I would say I am doing alright."
[13:52] Adahy quickly darts on back to the bench, crouching atop it like the goblin he was previously.

[14:00] Rain looks over the Beastkin with a smile. He seemed to know Adahy, and he seemed to want to learn more, so who was she to argue? She places her bag onto her stall and pulls a chunk of Adamantite out of it. She places it dead centre on the stall, motioning to it. "OK, this should help." She clears her throat, wondering how best to word her advice, before realising.
"OK! So, is long road ahead and will be difficult, but am sure you can do it. Now, look at purple ore. Is called 'Adamantite'. Is very good metal for practicing metal magic on, because is inherently magical. Magic conducts through it very good." Rain holds out her hand and concentrates briefly- the Adamantite twists slightly, and a small raincloud engraving is etched into it after a few seconds.
"See? Is very easy to manipulate. Not much effort for me at all, but will still be difficult for you." Rain takes a breath, before continuing. "Think about mana that you use when manipulating earth. Think about how you control it. Then, apply it on the metal, and in your head picture how you want it to shape and such."
Now, what could she set him off on? Something simple. "Want you to shape this adamantite into sphere. Perfect sphere. Can you do that?"
(Rain)
[14:00] Kelly Kirk says, "She has the same name you do, actually."
[14:00] Lydia exclaims, "Oh!"
[14:01] Lydia says, "It is a small world after all."
[14:01] Kelly Kirk says, "She had an accident while training Nature magic with a guy of the Watch... Poeple originally thought he went and assaulted her."
[14:02] Kelly Kirk says, "Cameo, as I've heard, had a bit of a spotty history, so I can see why people would jump to conclusions on that."
[14:02] Lydia asks, "In the end everything worked out?"
[14:02] Kelly Kirk says, "Yep."
[14:03] Kelly Kirk says, "Doctor fixed her up."
[14:03] Kelly Kirk says, "The other Lydia's probably the kindest-hearted person I've ever met..."
[14:03] Lydia says, "Hope she's fine."
[14:03] Kelly Kirk says, "She makes real good stir fry, too."
[14:04] "Ah, I see, I see…" She nodded, her smirk softening into a more natural smile.
[14:06] Kelly turns his attention to his old friend Gunnhildr. She seems to be busy with something, but nonetheless, he offers a quick wave. "Hey, Gunn! Once you're done with whatever you're doing... Wanna head out and train again?"

[15:10] Kelly walks over to the strange, half-feral kid. "Oh, uh... If you're hungry, I can give you a snack. You don't have to swipe anything from folks." He then holds out a slab of jerky; one of the lower class's two major food groups.

[15:12] The Adult Beastkin would take note of her smoothing out the metallic piece of adamantine material. The mana would slowly encompass the crevices of the material with her pure mana pushing against the hard metallic surface. Guiding it to smoothness.

The Beastkin was a natural Hands on learner, and so this process would allow her to perceive the metal with a much easier process. What she would see before her eyes as a piece of refined spherical adamantine.

Placed in her hands She would be instructed to place it back into its original state. At first, It would seem daunting. However, the Ookami had come this far in order for her to teach herself how to manipulate metal. She wasn't going to stop now.

She would slowly Feel the texture of the metallic substance, and noticed through shrouding her mana with the material, that the fragmentations of the metal were also molded and refined into a different shape. Much different that what she had seen before.

She would focus on resoring the fragmentations of the metallic substance first. And then working upwards to its shape. She started to manipulate each individual fragment of the metal that she was using, Restoring each and every piece one by one.

The spherical shape would become more rugged, and dented each minute that she was restoring each peace, the shape of the metal would contort aggressively along the way. It was a hard process to learn off of memory, but she had felt the texture. And knew what to go off of in reference.

Lastly was the shape of the ore. As she attempted to return the metal back to its state. Placing focus on what she had felt previous.

After a few more hours, The result would remain. The texture maintained its roughness before refined, However the shape would become very different from before its last formation. Becoming more of an oval shape than anything.

"Ah..This is what I got.."

She said handing the material to her.

[15:16] Gunnhildr Skeggjöld says, "Sorry mate."
[15:18] Kelly frowns a bit. It's not that he minded her doing her own thing... It's just that he wished he'd have another chance to spend some time with her. For whatever reason, the young man always liked to be within her company. Maybe it was her straightforwardness? Her ruggedness, her confidence? Which ever it may be, he seems to gravitate towards her, when she is within his presence. "It's okay... I'll just buy some more copper and try it out on my own. I just like having company when I do these sorts of things, so I can learn from them, and not feel alone."

[15:19] Rain examines the structure of the ore closely. She's seen a lot of Adamantite in her time, and it's clearly unnatural. It's also clearly been manipulated and changed in some magical fashion. However, Rain didn't mind- she could easily warp it back into a useful, powerful shape like she always did. She examines every nook and cranny of it to check that it's been fully 'converted'.

Once she's satisfied, she drops the ore back into her bag, and it makes a loud 'thunk' as it collides with the various other metals currently buried within her bag. The sandy-haired woman has a proud smile on her face- it seems that Gunnhildr has done well. Of course, the proudness contained within that smile was for both her AND the beastkin. After all, she had successfully taught yet again!

Rain hops up onto her stall and has a nice sit down. She didn't actually do any work, but she certainly made Gunnhildr do quite a bit! "Is amazing! Some weird parts, but is otherwise a very good work. Would recommend continuing to practice on ores in that way, but in different shapes, like cubes and such."

She realises something- something that lecturers say! "Oh, do you have any questions?"

[15:27] The young Ookami would nod happily. She was content with her small lesson in learning. She wasn't too often down to the books, and this approach would help her better understand the ability of Ferrormancy.

She would take out her own piece of adamantite. She had multiple lumps lying around her person from the last mining trip she had. She would give a nod and give a smile as she would show her progress continuing on.

"Thanks a lot mate. I appreciate ye taking time out yer day to help me get a hang of this molding thing. I am gonna have to learn a lot more in able to better mold the material."

She would Toss a piece of adamantite to her friend Kelly. In hopes he was watching her as well.

"Here lad! Ye should try to use this instead!"

She would say allowing her friend to further improve as well.
