Our speaker is a bubbly florist who just opened up her shop, and to promote it, she's going around handing out flowers to people. She spots you (the listener) sitting alone, and decides to come up and chat. In an effort to cheer you up, she ropes you in to help hand out the rest of the flowers.

Also, sorry for all the [giggle] markers, literally just add or drop them wherever and however you'd like. I wrote this character to be super bubbly and happy, so as long as that gets across, you're golden.

[to listener] Hello there~ Is this seat taken?

[satisfied sigh] Lovely day out isn't it?

Oh, let me just take off my hat, don't want to bonk you with it.

[chuckle] Yeah it's pretty big. Cute, though, right? It's got these little bunny ears.

[laughs] It's ok if you don't think so.

How has your day been, if you don't mind me asking?

/long pause, no answer/

Less than stellar, I presume?

Yeah you were sitting here by yourself, I thought maybe you'd like a little company.

Me? See my little wagon? I'm handing out these small flower pots to people. And then I also give them a pretty little card that says how to care for it and what the flower means. See? This bag is full of them.

It's to promote my shop! There it is, right over there. I'm a florist, see?

[giggle] I'm saying "see" a lot, aren't I?

[excited] But yeah I'm handing out flowers! And its great, because everyone's face just lights up. It's part of the reason I love doing this.


Would *you* like some flowers?

Mmm, I could give you some camellias? These white ones mean "you're adorable"~

Aha! There's a nice little smile! Seems I was right about that~

[giggle] Feeling a bit better?

It'll be amazing, trust me! [excited gasp] I'll even let you wear my hat!

[talking to someone else] Good afternoon, sir~ May I interest you in some flowers? Free of charge, of course.

Mhmm. I just opened up shop!

Thank you~ Since you look like quite the gentleman, I was thinking perhaps these magnolias? For nobility, ooh~

[to listener] Hey, grab the card for the magnolias from the bag, please. Thaaaank youuu~

Here you go sir.

Oh, the two of us? [giggle] No, we're not a couple. But he does look rather dapper in that hat, wouldn't you agree?

[laughs] You too sir, take care. I look forward to your business!


[jokingly serious] Great job on your first mission! But don't get cocky, kid.

[laughs] Yeah ok, I'll give it a rest with that.


Hm? Oh, the magnolias? I'm surprised you know that. Yeah, florists don't stock them very often. They aren't that easy to get hold of. But I figured since it's opening day, I might as well go all out!

Yep!

Let's keep this going, now! Swing those arms with me! Put some pep in your step! [laughs]

Oh, who cares? Join me!

Ah, I'm thinking that next, we should go down-

Oh! [talking to a child] Well who do we have here? Hi there, little one! Were you looking at my flowers?

Mhmm, they *are* pretty. Would you like some?

Oh, do you want the funny gentleman in the big hat to choose one for you? He's my sidekick today!

[to listener] [laughs] I'm only teasing~

So what about these, hmm? They're daisies~

Yay! I'll give you this card as well, ok? You can show it to your mommy and she'll tell you what the flower means.

She can also help you take care of it.

See? Isn't this lovely? The weather is just gorgeous~

And all those smiling faces must have lifted your spirits! It's a great feeling, right?

Well, when I saw you sitting alone, I thought about just doing my usual schtick and offering you the flowers, but then I thought "he looks like he could use more than just some random gift". And so I just sat down so we could chat.

Yeah. I just had a feeling, y'know?

Yes, a feeling. Aren't you glad I had it, though?

Hey, wait a minute. Why does it feel like you're trying to wrap this up? [melodramatic] Are you- are you leaving me? How could you! After all we've been through!

Don't you want to stay with me just a *tiny* bit longer? I don't have that many flowers left.
