  1. Yatogari, Kenshi took the bag of money and made his way away from the group of people while me made preparations to do his work. A look of quite contemplation. He had the blue prints for the blade he was intending to make and the money to gather the raw materials for the weapon. (1)
  2.
  3. He would start by gathering the needed raw materials from the various merchants. The money went fast as he bought the highest grade steel and iron he could get his hands on. Once all the preparation for the blade had been finished, he'd make his away to the forge he'd be working with. (2)
  4.
  5. He'd enter his forge and begin his work in Ernest. His first priority was stoking the forge for work. Coal being shoveled into the furnace's berth before being lit. The fire took to the fuel quickly and without much hesitation. Once lit the whole of the smithy was cast in a soft orange glow. A smile crossed his face. (3)
  6.
  7. The bellows we're worked next, as the smith aimed to increase the heat he'd be working with. Each pull of the bellows would cause the orange glow to erupt forward and bath the area in a soft persistent Red glow. Now that the coals we're hot enough for the project he'd move onto the next step. (4)
  8.
  9. He took the raw steel and set the ingots within the fire. This allowed the bars to begin to heat up. As the bars went from soft gray to white hot he'd take the bar out of the forge. He'd be using tongs of course, and as such went to work without much hesitation. (5)
  10.
  11. The process would take him much longer then anything else he worked on. His hammer would begin to come down in a rhythmic pattern. Each strike ringing throughout his forge as he worked. Slowly but surely, the sword would begin to take shape. Each time the metal cooled he would replace it into the forge, pumping the billows and reheating the metal. (6)
  12.
  13. The weapon would continue to be worked upon as the blade took form slowly. The steel would be folded into itself. The blade's core sturdy and settled as it was made up to be used. The hammer coming down upon the metal and then finally, the blade was finished. At least the base of the sword. Next up would be the formation of the Tsuba, and various other parts. (7)
  14.
  15. This was the smaller more menial work for the smith. The hand guard, Blade cap, and sheath we're all made in this time frame. The sheath was made of a black wood, lacquered and painted to perfection, with Red flowers running down it's surface. The hand guard, Tsuba, and Hilt cap we're all made up of gold. All in all the weapon, once assembled, looked as beautiful and deadly as intended. (8)
  16. The last step came with the sharpening of the sword itself and the polishing of the sword. It took some time, as the smith choose to use a sharpening stone as opposed to the grinder some other smiths employed. He took his time, adding his own special touch to the blade. (9)
  17.
  18. The finale step was polishing the blade and finishing the etching of his blade. The weapon would be sharpened, polished, and engraved with his signature, before placed into it's sheath with a grateful smile. The task done, he'd made his way out of the forge, once everything had been put away and the forge fire put out! (10)

  20. Shusui (O Wazamono)(T3)
  21. This blade is black with a distinct white hamon and its tsuba has flower-like edges, hence it is a "Black Sword/Blade" Its hamon is white colored and Kanemoto style, having the appearance of a saw or sharp teeth. It has no accessories on the hilt, being wrapped with black silk. Kashira, tsuba and kojiri end cap are golden, and the sheath is black, decorated with dark red circles split in even thirds. This Blade has been designed for death in mind, and seems eager to draw blood.
  22. (Keen: This weapon seems to be supernaturally sharp, allowing it to bypass 10 points of Endurance.)
  23. (Savage: This blade is not meant for Mercy, Getting Struck by this blade's edge, Causes 1 point of Bleeding Damage every turn!)
  24. (The Initials Y.K are embossed upon the base of the blade)
  25. (Durability: 35)
  26. (Health: 100)
  27. (Add 20 to Damage Calculation)
