Romani's work day

Sometimes he wonders if anything has really changed.

As the few workers of Chaldea worked and exhausted themselves searching for the next singularity, Romani lay exhausted among the many piles of paper work strewn around his table and in his office.

"Agh," he mutters his voice muffled due to his facing being pressed against his desk, "There is so much to do.Where did all this paperwork come from? Was is because I was neglecting it? Damn, maybe I should have balanced it with calibrating SHEBA."

With a mighty groan Romani stretches his arms and attempts to rub the sleep of his eyes, which are lined with dark circles. A testament to his fight against exhaustion just to continue working a bit longer.

"Things were so much simpler back then." He continues to mutter, picking up his pen to continue working "So little paperwork and just actual doing. Honestly, I can't even feel my fingers anymore this is terrible."

"Agh, I really wish Magi☆Mari could help me right now, but Da Vinci took away my computer until I finish my paper work! Oh how will I survive? Doesn't Da Vinci know Magi☆Mari has been the biggest help to this Chaldea so far? It's not right to separate me from her, honestly it's seeing her posts is what keeps me going."

As Romani continues to whine and work, the paperwork continues to diminish until nothing was left.

"There, finally finished!" Romani cheers, throwing his pen to the side and collapsing on his table, "I never thought I'd get through all that.... oh, I'm so tired. I never want to do that much paperwork again. Maybe I can ask Ritsuka-chan and Mashu to help me next time? It's definitely worth a shot."

"I'm tired" Romani sighs closing his eyes and adjusting his position, "Maybe just a little nap and I'll get right to helping track the next singularity."

Romani's eyes flutter and his breathing slows, "That's right, just a few minutes and then I've got to stop him. I..can't... let him... destroy.....humanity."

With one final yawn Romani falls asleep on his table.

Exhausted and tired from a hard day's work.
