  1. The Way of Peace
  2.
  3. Hangout: The Drunken Monk, a nightclub that was originally a large fishing barge, currently the main HQ of the Way of Peace, sitting in one of the larger canals of Little Venice. Their hideouts and dives through Velo are mostly taverns, some shrines, and other refuges of peace and quiet in the bustling city.
  4.
  5. Membership: Granted through trial, dictated by several high-ranking members of the gang. Typically a game of Steel Ball Run, a game of Tagger's Tag, or Typhoon. Once initiated, a mentor will be issued to the new member. This mentor is responsible for the new member, and the new member is responsible for satisfying the tests and questions posed by the mentor. Mentorship is a grueling, typically painful process, with half of the new members dropping out in frustration. One does not graduate from initiate status until they have been proven to the gang by their mentor. Members refer to themselves, and are typically referred to, as Peacers.
  6. Attitude: Although peaceful and zen about most things, Peacers are fiercely competitive, believing that one achieves a level of enlightenment through competition between rudies. Strangely, they don't believe that victory is the ultimate goal, even though they're try their damnedest to win. They believe that experiencing the competition itself, feeling the rush of challenging another directly, is a temporary form of mental and spiritual perfection.

  8. Symbol: A broken wheel with only four spokes
  9.
  10. Slogan: Noble minds, noble goals
  11.
  12. Style: They mirror the Boddhisattvas in much of their clothing and stylistic choices, although higher-ranking Peacers will not stray from showing off. They're also fond of the black/yellow color combination, and it shows through a lot of their gear. (dark greens, teals, and browns/greys are also common.) They also like to spend a lot of time tinkering with and tweaking their stuff, believing that a perfect rig can overcome an imperfect body, and through that, an imperfect soul.
  13.
  14. History: Originally a safe haven for Boddhisattvas far away from the spa and the Urban Temple, there was a large disagreement between the main rudies running The Drunken Monk and the heads of the Bodhisattvas, leading to a split in the ranks. While much smaller than their former comrades, the Peacers are much more tight-knit, believing that one does not walk the Way of Peace without preparing themselves.
