  <p><b>Biography</b>: XiShi works at an exorcist organization. He's secretly a fire demon.... and he doesn't know his work partner (Hannah) is also a demon. His motive for becoming an exorcist was to escape his ex-girlfriend (Nova), a relentless and notorious demon celebrity. Despite being a demon, he'd take such lengths to escape her...!</p>

  <p>He has a mellow and tolerant personality. While he typically acts as a mediator, he's also seen as somewhat fragile. Nevertheless, he has a big heart.</p>

  <p> However, one day on a mission, XiShi and Hannah encountered a demon that manifests as the person's biggest fear. While Hannah was able to break through, XiShi was still struggling. Fearing he wouldn't make it out, Hannah unsealed her demon powers - revealing herself to be a fire demon - in order to save XiShi. Although he made it out safe, it still led her to being fired.</p>

  <p> XiShi felt immensely guilty, but not only because she got fired for saving him, or that she was a demon..... but because he was a demon too. He was in the same situation as her - a fire demon pretending to be a human, working as an exorcist. Yet, she was caught first.</p>

  <p> It stung more because this 'fear' that XiShi saw was fire - not the fire he was used to as a demon, but the fire that humans use. Fire that would have no effect on his demon form, but would scorch his human disguise. It's why he's scared of fire in the human realm - from candles to gas stovetops. So imagine, your work partner breaking through the fire with the demon fire of her own.... first fear, then relief, then dread.</p>

<p> They end up reuniting a while later after a near-apocalypse, which vastly opened the demon realm to the human realm. They are lovers now!</p>
