GoR 2 Questions/Sheet Stuff

This page is to answer some questions you might have, as it may save you some time instead of directly asking me about these things. While it may not cover EVERYTHING, it might at least help clarifying a few things up. It also will cover some stuff related to sheets, what may work in your favor and what may not.

Can I play a monster but use normal classes?
It is possible yes, but the other way around (Human playing a race-locked class) won't be possible. Also please, be reasonable, while a brawler Clockwork might be fine, don't try to do stuff like playing an undead using light magic.

Being active in the channel, does it increase my odds of being picked?
It doesn't. OOC channel activity won't influence at all, it would be extremely unfair for the folks who aren't social or just don't have much to talk about in the channel.

Are all the monsters from the Oblivion prison yet or can we plan brand new ones?
No, they aren't all from there. Years already passed since their return and the truce between races, so you are welcome (and even encouraged) to play a monster who was born after the end of the second war. Clockworks and Harvesters appeared after the war, so those interested on play them don't need to worry about this.

Can my character have some sort of title/be acknowledged?
You are starting with a first class character on level 1. So as long as it isn't something exaggerated, I don't see why not.

Can I replace this class' weapon rank for a different one?
Possibly. Depends of the class and weapon choice.

Can I ping you to answer something?
Don't, unless it is important. Chances are, I will see the message in the channel eventually, and if for some reason I miss, you can still ask them in the OOC thread. This is for the sake of avoiding being pinged a bunch of times.

Can I do (Insert thing that breaks the rules/what is instructed) for my character?
No.

Do connected backstories increase my odds of being picked?
They don't. While you may connect backstories, it doesn't guarantee you will get in even if I do end up picking the other character.

About the sheet picking:
This game won't have a slot limit, instead it will just be the number of sheets I accept-that's it. So it could easily be something like 8, or something absurd like 16 or above. All depends of the sheet's quality and also the person's OOC situation. Below I will just be showing a few things that may work in their favor or against them.

Positive Things:
->Being active in games.
->Well organized sheet.
->Bio that shows you made use of the setting.
->Clean OOC history.

Negative Things:
->Known for being inactive in games/dropping games.
->Sheet that barely makes use of the setting.
->Scrambled sheet/disorganized.
->Sheet with a character obviously meant to abuse/break mechanics instead of focusing on making the character itself interesting.
->History of being disrespectful/causing trouble/breaking rules OOCly.
