Minotaur's 'Girl'

“You lost.” Max spoke in a light grunt. His eye swollen slightly from the repeated blows. The cheating cheater who’d been intent on cheating him laid out at his feet. Beside him his small ‘fuckbuddy’ cooed and fussed, tending to the swelling as best as she could, attention firmly planted in his direction. A good thing too, it kept her from saying anything too embarrassing. “Knew you had some gimmick up your sleeve... but I ain’t an idiot. Jason and the Golden Fleece… you think I didn’t know you’d heal up after every hit?”

Off to the side the man in the lion’s skin shook his head and grinned.

“He’s an overconfident little shit, but he’s good with the guile stuff.” The man, Lee Max remembered him being called, spoke. Max thought of him fondly enough, letting his ‘leader’ answer for his own issues. “I figured he was safe enough overall wearing that thing, even if it doesn’t make him invincible.”

Max nodded in agreement with the man. “Yeah. Figured as much. You got Hercules right?”

Another smile graced Lee’s lips in confirmation. “Yep, pretty much. Recognizable as I am I’m kinda surprised more people don’t tend to get it right.
