  1. *Deal with small threats within the steppes.
  2.
  3. *Try and tame the emberworgs.
  4.
  5. *Get rituals ongoing at the Altar of Storms.
  6.
  7. Major Goals:
  8. *Provide the guilds in the surrounding areas of the Steppes (Redridge, Elwynn, Duskwood.) with RP. Meaning, we intend to give and take. Executing a whole bunch of players isn't our intention. Rather, we'd be more than happy to let our enemies flee to tend to their wounds in most cases.
  9.
  10. *Keep OOC drama at a minimum. (Meaning, we intend to make both our own, and those interacting with us, to be fully immersed, and not distracted by petty things like "why did they attack my character, or, why is the sky blue, and not fucking red."
  11.
  12. *Push the Dark Iron dwarves further into the depths of the mountain.
  13.
  14. *Create a forward camp in Eastern Redridge.
  15.
  16. *Take care of the gnoll and murloc threats on the Blackrock side of Redridge.
  17.
  18. *Take captives if the situation asks for it. These will work in the spire, and/or for the Clan in various ways, most of which are labor.
  19.
  20. *And most of all, to keep it a fun experience from an OOC perspective.
  21.
  22. *Total annihilation of humanity, and the conquering of the Eastern Kingdoms. (Herpderp.)
  23.
  24. *Establish connections with the Dragonmaw Brethren up north.

  45. -Purpose-
  46. The Blackrock Clan has been in Phase A, and smooth it went 'till the leader went inactive. Many were disappointed with this turning of events, and over the course of months, more and more made their attempts at reviving the concept. They failed, and if anything, it didn't aid the morale of us hardcore Horde fans. What we wanted was change.
  47.
  48. Eventually, we got together as a small, closely-knit group of friends and what not, and began to exchange ideas, which lead to the creation of this. The Blackrock Clan, from an OOC perspective intended to be a more than welcoming bunch, seeking to bring some livelihood to the dull south of the Eastern Kingdoms. Halt, right there! I'm sure you're currently assuming that with, 'bring some livelihood', you mean, gank and beat the next best person crossing roads with us! No, no sir, you're inspecting the wrong bunch.
  49.
  50. We don't intend for PvP and PvE to be a focus, but rather a side-thing. Instead, we seek to bring forth some social RP on the Alliance side, with rumours about the orcish armies amassing in the foreboding lands of the north spreading like a rapid fire. We wish not for you to fight some two-dimensional NPC's without actual emotion... but breathing, thinking characters, each with their own quirks.
  51.
  52. This means that you will not see just the merciless, one-faced side that many stereotype the Old Horde as, but also get a glimpse of their culture and lives, seperately and as a whole.
  53.
  54.
  55. -Social aspects-
  56. Whenever dusk falls, the Blackrock forces retreat to their base camp to enjoy a well deserved night's rest in most cases. They eat, they joke, brawl and share tales of glory and conquest with their fellow grunts and officers. They huddle up by a cozy bonfire and their grunts can be heard from quite a distance. The orcs find their joy in the simplest of things.
  57.
  58. When one of the Blackrocks become of age, they get to take part in their rite of passage, this ceremonious once in a life time occurence will make an adult out of the orc in question.
  59. After passing the test, you are a true warrior, ready to follow your Warchief's very command. Glory to Blackhand!
  60.
  61. To pass your Om'riggor, you are assigned to slay an animal by the Warmaster's will, whom, at his own descretion, may decide what it is. You are then sent only with a weapon of choice, and your loincloth.
  62.
  63. Upon slaying the creature, mark your forehead with its blood and get your lazy bum back here!
  64. Having returned, the Warmaster will have a taste of the blood and determine wether you are worthy or not. Be it so... For the Horde, Glory to Blackhand!
  65.
  66. Kosh'harg!
  67. Each full moon, the clan gathers in the shade of Blackrock Mountain to chant, grunt and dance! A bastardized version of the Kosh'harg festival, during which the higher ups come together to discuss matters within their Stronghold while their loyal minions enjoy the most carnal of pleasures. Food, drink, dance, and quite possibly the occasional drunken flirt blurted out. If anything, it is a time for celebration, and it helps raising the spirits of you and your clansmen. You are the Horde, and you stand united! Do not forget this!
  68.
  69. When the beautiful one first bestowed his 'blessings' upon the deceived shaman, they developed a sense of superiority over the course of time, and were soon to be titled 'Warlocks'. There warlocks grew to become people of authority. Those that the orcs would learn to fear and respect, 'lest their souls be devoured by the abyss. These very same orcs called forth the numerous demons, and damned the entirety of their kin in search for more power, more knowledge. Nowadays, the Blackrock Clan finds itself revering what little demons remaining within the borders of its lands. They are considered eternals, respected to a great extent by the orcs, much like their ancestors once were.
  70.
  71. -Military aspects-
  72. The Old Horde, if anything, is known for its strictness. There is no place for the weak. There is no time for insubordination. It is kill, or be killed. It is listen, or die. There is no 'but', there is no 'why', the clansmen follow their Warchief's command without question. They are ever so loyal, and know better than to speak out of line, 'lest they face the blackjack.
  73.
  74. First seen are the raiders on the frontlines, alongside the various other leaders, ready to charge into the heat of battle with their feral companions. Gladly would the worgs they ride feast upon the carcasses of both you and your enemies, and so it is up to these fierce combatants to keep them in check.
  75.
  76. The grunts walk in collumns of three by three, shouting war cries as they march on to the battlefield, axes and hammers raised above their heads. They revel in the cries of despair coming from their victims, and take a weekly dose of felguard blood to keep their addiction sated. It is these orcs that the alliance has known to fear and despise over the course of decades, and they're a section that is bound to be faced in the distant future, once again.
  77.
  78. -Peons-
  79. Peons serve as the backbone of Blackhand's Horde! Without them, his constructs will crumble within a matter of weeks. Peons will be ordered about in the way they've always been, and will face the blackjack on many occasions. These poor things are the lowest of the low, and are considered to be little more than filth. They've failed their Om'riggor and are thusly branded weak, pathetic. Look down upon them with scorn.
  80.
  81. -Birth-
  82. The mother enters the mountain and overlook the fire and brimstone below her feet. It is there where the child(ren) are deemed to be worthy or not. If the child is at all weak, physically or otherwise, it will be discarded into the churning mass of molten stone. The mountain is a good alternative, due to the scarce amount of water sources within the steppes.
