Uesegi, Ira - Maturation Logs

Uesegi, Ira released a small breath as he carefully moved his hand over to his pocket knife. His hand carefully grasped the blade before he invoked his reiryoku through the survival knife causing the length of the weapon to extend into a slender looking nodachi. Keeping the sheath buckled to his footing briefly lowered himself as he moved his hand over to squeeze his hand around his newly formed blade, Counter Edge.

"Alright."

Uesegi, Ira braced himself as he hugged his nodachi to his chest before he received the blow from Chikao. Now he knew they were holding back, but the fact he was able to reduce the damage down this much,he barely took the blow as he carefully stood himself up as he slightly lowered his stance a to a more neutral one. He felt the sudden surge of power coursing his weapon. He felt the heat bursting from is blade, or rather the power simply oozing from it as he carefully lowered himself a bit.

<"So whatever damage I take can get stored into my blade? Interesting, now how do I release it?">

The area were he was struck immediately released a sudden burst towards Chikao, more so it was the attack they threw at him previously only released back at the male. He carefully shifted himself forward before launching towards Chikao who wasn't fully using their abilities at them currently.

Wanting to test the waters he immediately slashed down attempting to first release the sudden blast that was stored into his blade at least with the first attack, the second and third still came at the male, only using the basic strengths he was able to dish out.

Uesegi, Ira flinched as he watched the maw of Chikao unhinge their jaw before ultimately gnawing on his head. Despite all the pain he was feeling he kept cool, or attempted to as he trashed about before he flailed over before he carefully took a few breaths to reorientate himself until he squeezed his hand around his weapon. He was somewhat thankful to the fact that he was able to somewhat reduce as long as he held onto his weapon, possibly.

He -thought- blood was heavily spurting from his head, but he was..fine? Possibly. Maybe even as he lowered himself back into a neutral stance. "Ah, sorry." He removed his glasses, it acted like somewhat of a placebo effect for him as he leered at Chikao. His position and the way he held his blade shifted a bit more showing that the at least held more confidence with how he presented himself.

When he was able to steel himself he stepped forward releasing three strikes towards Chikao even after the reflected damage smashed back into Chikao.

Uesegi, Ira narrowed his gaze as he studied the dragon-like Hollow, at least he assumed it was a Hollow judging by the amount of reiryoku it was exuding out. Since he successfully escaped the stoner group to pursue the hollow, leading him here to the basket ball court of all places. He sighed to catch a breath a he removed his glasses 'amping' himself up as he gripped his hand around the folding knife in his hand before it transformed into a nodachi.

"Lets get this over with."

Uesegi, Ira knitted his brow, he stepped forward as he attempted to strike as commanded. He did not have much confience in his offensive capabilities, but he'll see why now. Steeling himself and his stance he entered into CQC range of the Hollow before striking with hi blade, a simple downward swipe.

Uesegi, Ira felt his blade bounce off their hide respectively. He figured this was the case as he felt the tingling sensation going down his body from when he brought his blade down. Knowing full well how this was going to go made him curse underneath his breath, when he attempted to regather his thoughts he was hit with the spinning tail of Adalinda knocking him backwards away from the hollow. The pain that was inflicted upon him automatically burst forth and returned back to the Hollow at half the force it was when it originally came back.

"You called me a weakling, but that barely harmed me."

He admitted appearing completely unscathed from there attack as he went back to his stance after he approached the hollow before slashing at them three times

Uesegi, Ira held his nodachi close to his body as the various attacks started to fly towards him. Given the size of the attacks he could not use his reflex to simply graze them out of the way Whatever the case, he braced himself as the blows started to rapidly assault himself and his weapon. With each strike dealt to Counter Edge the blow reflected off immediately returning it to the dragon gillian passively, he hated the feeling of hearing the creaking sounds of his weapon as it reduced the damages down. A small huff escaped his mouth a he simply held on until he was able to release one empowered attack before the others came in afterward.

Uesegi, Ira lowered his blade, he could not have it take anymore damage as he watched it reeling back for something he assumed was big that was coming towards him. Quirking a brow he watched as they seemingly lifted themselves up before they brought their full weight down on him with, he also did curse himself as none of his attacks met their mark or did any lasting damage, something he'll have to fix after this was all said and done here that is.

Given the speed of the approaching attack he braced himself for the skull bashing into his body, head possibly. When the skulls collided debris between them kicked up before surrounding the two. There Ira stood unscathed still, maybe he would've skidded backwards, but he remained stationary after the blow. But he still didn't attack, how could he give the stalemate of it all.

"Sorry, but that wouldn't cause me much pain either."

He admitted.

Uesegi, Ira reached his hand up to remove his glasses before starting a fight with the snarling fox Hollow. At first he just wanted to see what the hollow would do, but nothing would happen if something was not initiated. So taking the first steps as he breached the gap between himself and the fox as he attempted to give a simple slash with his nodachi.

Uesegi, Ira gritted his teeth as he he cupped one of his hears reflexively as if it was going to lessen the pain he was feeling. Fighting through the hearing pains he briefly braced himself on the incoming reiatsu shower that struck his body, while it only stung for a bit he still was able to hold his ground despite him not correctly balancing himself given the ear pains. With a breath he stepped forward before he struck at Aluoarno twice with his nodachi as a retaliation.

Uesegi, Ira changed the way he held his nodachi, briefly squeezing the handle in his hands as he attempted to clash his blade into the approaching reiryoku canon. While he did not know if he could properly cleave it in two with his current strength, he could still lessen the incomig damage as it was also aborbed into his nodachi. He felt the sudden heat coming off his weapon.

He thought after continuing the assault on Aluoaro by using the stored damage to released an enhanced blow on the Fox's leg, more accurately it's right front leg.

Uesegi, Ira paused after he managed to stun the Hollow though sheer pain and damage alone, when he realized that the Hollow stopped fighting he lifted the nodachi up aiming to simply end this. Honestly he did think about it before he ultimately lowered the blade down to rest on his shoulders. If anything the real person he should strike down was the one who captured and paraded the hollow around like it was a trophy.

"You're not worth it."

He stated as he turned in his heels and proceeded to leave because if anything he at least got some enjoyment out of this.
