[23:20] * [BNS]Komacho is lying on her back, staring at the stars above her, looking deep in thought...
[23:20] * Sara` leans against a tree, relaxing while fixing her hair.
[23:22] * [Tess]Kovacs floats around looking for her glasses. Where did those things fall?
[23:23] * [Rut]Absolution is off to the side on her own. Again.
[23:24] * [BNS]Komacho cranes her head over to look at Sara, then turns up and over, onto her stomach, still looking over at Sara...
[23:26] * [BNS]Komacho bites her lip, unsure if she should do what she was thinking of doing...
[23:26] * Sara` is looking off into the sky, combing her hair with her lithe hands...
[23:29] * [BNS]Komacho shoves her doubt aside and picks herself up so she's sitting cross-legged, then tries to get Sara's attention
[23:29] <[BNS]Komacho> <Ay, Sara...?>
[23:30] * Sara` stops after a few moments, glancing towards Komacho. She has a calm sort of smile on her face.
[23:30] <Sara`> <Hm? What is it, Komacho?>
[23:30] * [Tess]Kovacs finds her glasses, putting them on and adjusting them. She takes a look around to find something to do.
[23:31] * [BNS]Komacho droops her head nervously, but then looks up at Sara again.
[23:31] <[BNS]Komacho> <What was it like when you first evolved?>
[23:38] * [Mys]Violet is on the outskirts of the group as usual, but today she is joined by the other solitary figure in the group.
[23:39] <[Mys]Violet> <...Hi...>
[23:40] * [Mys]Violet says as she pauses between lighting her cigarette and bringing it to her lips.
[23:41] * [Rut]Absolution greets Violet with a cold, contemplative stare.
[23:41] <[Rut]Absolution> ...
[23:41] * [Tess]Kovacs tears some grass out of the ground, cupping it between her hands. She takes another look around, then floats over above Violet and drops it.
[23:44] * [Mys]Violet never talked much with the other pokemon... .oO(But I don't think I've seen her talk with anyone else much either.)
[23:46] * [Mys]Violet tips her sunglasses so she can meet Absolution's eyes. She stares back without any indication of emotion.
[23:48] * [Tess]Kovacs takes the opportunity to let all of the grass fall on Violet's head, a little to the front so just a bit can go in through her shades.
[23:49] * [Rut]Absolution continues to stare until her eyes widen in sudden realization. She whips her head around quickly, looking to both her sides and behind her. Bewildered, she looks back at Violet.
[23:50] <[Rut]Absolution> <... You... are addressing -me-?>
[23:50] * [Mys]Violet is covered in some blades of grass now. She takes off her sunglasses to let the ones in front of her eyes drop.
[23:51] <[Mys]Violet> <...Yeah...>
[23:52] * [Mys]Violet takes a drag and lets out a cloud of smoke straight up. She shakes the rest of the grass off before continuing.
[23:53] <[Mys]Violet> <...I...think we'll get along...>
[23:53] * [Tess]Kovacs sneezes and coughs for a few seconds, looking back down afterwards. Hm, how to go about this...
[23:54] <[Rut]Absolution> <W-why??-- I mean, uh, okay.>
[23:55] * [Rut]Absolution looks off to the side. She unconsciously traces a circle in the ground with her left foot.
[23:55] <[Rut]Absolution> <... There is something on your head.>
[23:58] <[Mys]Violet> <...?>
[23:58] * [Tess]Kovacs looks around, stopping on a large rock for a few seconds, but then seemingly thinking better of it.
[23:58] * [Mys]Violet tries to get whatever is left on her head off...
[23:59] * [Tess]Kovacs floats down and rests herself on Violet's head to replace the grass from before.
[00:02] <[Rut]Absolution> <There is something else on your head, now.>
[00:06] * [Mys]Violet just continues puffing her cigarette and ignores Kovacs. The smoke billows from her in massive quantities.
[00:06] * [Tess]Kovacs coughs some more, trying to take to thought but thrashing a little.
[00:07] <[Mys]Violet> <...I know...>
[00:08] <Sara`> <Ah, when I first evolved...?>
[00:08] <[Rut]Absolution> <You should not smoke. It could cause disease or start a fire or-->
[00:08] * [Rut]Absolution stops herself.
[00:09] <[Rut]Absolution> <T-that... that was rude. I apologize. I am not skilled at conversation.>
[00:09] * Sara` places a finger to her lips, tyring to recall the specifics of the event...
[00:10] <Sara`> <Well, it was... surprising, I guess.>
[00:10] * [Mys]Violet stops putting the cigarette in her mouth. Smoke still billows from her mouth. She smiles, putting out the lit cigarette.
[00:11] <Sara`> <You would enter a child, and exit grown, a very different body sheathing you.>
[00:11] <[Mys]Violet> <The smoke is mostly me. And the poison of the cigarette isn't anything next to the poison my body makes.>
[00:11] * [Tess]Kovacs grows bored, hovering over to sit on Absolution's head.
[00:11] <[BNS]Komacho> <Yes... but, what did you do after that? I mean... it feels so... different. In so many different ways...>
[00:12] * [BNS]Komacho wraps her arms around herself, blushing slightly.
[00:12] * [Mys]Violet blows another ring of cigarette-less smoke upwards at the empty space above her head. .oO(So she got tired of picking on me...)
[00:13] * Sara` drops her hand, waving it to invite Komacho into the shade.
[00:14] <Sara`> <There's no need to be so shy about it, really. I know I felt the same way as you, then...>
[00:14] <Sara`> <Come on, the shade's nice.>
[00:14] <[Rut]Absolution> <I did not mean disease for you, though I suppose ghost types-- excuse me.>
[00:15] * [BNS]Komacho crawls over to sit next to Sara, with one knee up, looking down at her foot.
[00:17] * [Rut]Absolution jabs the horn on her head upwards slightly, into Kovac's underside. Her dark type properties meant that it would be less than comfortable for the Haunter.
[00:17] <[Tess]Kovacs> Kyaa!
[00:18] <[Rut]Absolution> <--ghost types are not susceptible to ordinary afflictions. You, ah... you are safe, yes?>
[00:18] * [Rut]Absolution continues talking to Violet.
[00:18] * [Mys]Violet switches from puffing out smokescreen to sweet scent. The smoke changes color considerably.
[00:19] <[Mys]Violet> <...is this better...?>
[00:19] * Sara` kneels next to Komacho, back against the tree still.
[00:19] * [Tess]Kovacs jets up significantly, going down a ways behind Absolution and out of sight. After waiting a while, she floats back over and taps Absolution's shoulder from behind.
[00:20] <Sara`> <It was... bewildering, really. I didn't quite know what to do.>
[00:20] <Sara`> <But thankfully, those around me went through it, too.>
[00:20] * [BNS]Komacho wraps her arms around herself again...
[00:21] * Sara` smiles in a knowing sort of way.
[00:22] <[BNS]Komacho> <I... I feel things. I feel things that I've never felt before. Life isn't simple anymore. Life used to be about Training, Fighting and Eating. Now... now I feel...>

[00:22] <[BNS]Komacho> <I don't even know what I feel. But it's different...>
[00:25] <[Rut]Absolution> <Hm. There is a lesser chance of possible long-term danger, but the risk of an anaphylactic allergic reaction is still-- .....>
[00:25] * [Rut]Absolution stops herself again. She reddens.
[00:26] <[Rut]Absolution> <... S-sorry... It's fine. It has a pleasant scent.>
[00:26] <Sara`> <Different feelings? Different thoughts?>

[00:28] <[BNS]Komacho> <Well... it's like the other day. When Kirarin was sitting on Cole's lap, I felt... angry. And sad. At the same time. I've... never felt like that.>

[00:29] * [Rut]Absolution turns around to address Kovacs. But she's not running away. Really.

[00:35] * Sara` giggles a bit.
[00:35] <[Rut]Absolution> <I do not understand. Why would you prefer that I perform a somersault?>
[00:37] <[Tess]Kovacs> <That would mean I've gotten a very strong reaction from you.>
[00:37] * [Mys]Violet wants to say that somersaults are cool... but feels that having to say that would be uncool. She fixes her sunglasses over her eyes and chew on an unlit cigarette.

[00:39] <[Rut]Absolution> <I see. I was not aware of that. Go ask Komacho. I am having a conversation.>

[00:39] * Sara` adjusts herself and sits down beside Komacho.

[00:40] <Sara`> <I could give you the textbook definition, but I wouldn't be that mean.>

[00:40] * Sara` looks over at Komacho, straight at her now.
[00:40] <Sara`> <Have you ever wanted something specific, Komacho?>
[00:40] * [Rut]Absolution turns back to Violet.
[00:41] * [BNS]Komacho straightens up as her expression changes from one of confusion to one of resolve.
[00:41] * [Tess]Kovacs looks like she would probably idly kick the ground if she had feet. She plucks some more grass from the ground, hovering over to the other group.

[00:46] <Sara`> <Not a bad goal at all.>
[00:46] <Sara`> <Though I was aiming for an item, let's see...>
[00:46] <Sara`> <What do you think or feel when you see another, who is extremely strong?>
[00:47] * [Tess]Kovacs just decides she's sick of waiting for an opportunity and dumps the grass on Komacho's head.
[00:47] <[Rut]Absolution> <Um, I'm sorry. Iris has told me to not to be so uptight. I have difficulty following this advice.>

[00:49] * [Mys]Violet laughs a little.

[00:54] * [Tess]Kovacs looks at Komacho, scratching her head. Did they really just miss it completely?
[00:54] * [Mys]Violet takes the opportunity and puts her hand out like she is going to lay it on Absolution's shoulder, but hesitates. She lowers and turns her hand instead offering a handshake.
[00:56] <[Rut]Absolution> <I... I see. And this is...?>
[00:57] <Sara`> <How do you think you would feel if they were unbeatably stronger than you?>
[00:57] <[Mys]Violet> <...an offer...of... friendship...>
[00:58] <[BNS]Komacho> <Then I'd train until I WAS stronger.>
[00:59] * [Rut]Absolution 's eyes glaze over. She mimics Violet, extending her right hand.
[01:00] <Sara`> <Again admirable...>
[01:00] * [Tess]Kovacs floats in behind Komacho, waving her hands to see if she can get Sara to notice at least.
[01:00] * Sara` sighs, then flicking her eyes up towards Kovacs. She waves once.
[01:01] <Sara`> <Hello, Kovacs.>
[01:03] * Sara` then looks up into the tree's branches. o O ( ... Maybe I can't explain this one, right now. Well, we all learn, given time... )
[01:03] * [Mys]Violet grabs her hand...
[01:04] * [Tess]Kovacs waves back, then moves her hand forward to flick a blade of grass off of Komacho's head.
[01:04] <[Mys]Violet> <... You can call me "V"... if you want to that is...>
[01:04] * Sara` 's thoughts drift to contemplation on humanity. Absent-minded, she whispers to herself.
[01:04] <Sara`> hopefully.
[01:04] * Sara` then shakes her head, and addresses Komacho once more.
[01:05] <Sara`> <You should probably deal with that grass on your head, you know.>
[01:05] <[Rut]Absolution> <A-ah... I understand. Thank you, "V".>
[01:06] * [Rut]Absolution looks down bashfully, but smiles.
[01:06] * [BNS]Komacho blinks, then notices the grass, brushing it away quickly before looking back at Sara, still hopelessly confused
[01:07] <Sara`> <Well, since I can't give you a personal example, I'll just tell you.>
[01:08] <Sara`> <Jealousy happens sometimes when you see another person having what you want, when you do not.>
[01:09] * [BNS]Komacho blinks in sudden surprise
[01:09] * [Tess]Kovacs floats back up and sits on Komacho's head, resting her hands and doing her best to look like an attentive child.

[01:11] * Sara` nods.
[01:12] <[BNS]Komacho> <But... if I was 'gel-us-eee' when Kirarin was sitting with Cole, does that mean that I want Cole? But I can't have Cole, he is not a thing, he is a human. You can only have things, you can't have humans.>

[01:13] * [Tess]Kovacs drops down over Komacho's face, looking at her upside down.

[01:13] * [Rut]Absolution goes over to Sara. Again, not running away. Definitely not.
[01:14] * [Mys]Violet can still feel Absolution's hand in her own even though it's gone...
[01:14] <[BNS]Komacho> <Yah, I like when Cole pays attention to me. It makes me happy.>
[01:14] * [Rut]Absolution stops behind Sara and waits.
[01:15] <Sara`> <Desires change after growth, too.>
[01:15] <Sara`> <Along with many other things...>
[01:16] * Sara` reaches over and pokes Komacho's sternum, just above her chest.
[01:16] * [Mys]Violet lights up now that Absolution is gone.
[01:17] <[BNS]Komacho> <But... I don't understand... I like when Master pays attention to me, but I don't get gel-us-eee when she pays attention to the rest of you. Why do I get gel-us-eee when Cole does?>
[01:17] * Sara` , feeling something behind her, looks up to find Absolution in the corner of her vision. She pats the ground next to her.
[01:18] * Sara` refocuses on Komacho.
[01:18] <Sara`> <I'll let you in on a little secret:>
[01:18] * [BNS]Komacho tilts her head and listens intently
[01:18] <Sara`> <Most of these changes are all related to each other.>
[01:19] * [Rut]Absolution looks at the spot Sara patted, but detects no faults, nor sinkholes. She looks back at Sara, puzzled.
[01:19] <Sara`> <Think on it, and I bet you'll figure it out. What the central connection is, anyway.>
[01:20] <[Rut]Absolution> <... Sara, I noticed that you were observing the Western skies earlier. I felt nothing in the East. What did you find?>
[01:20] * [BNS]Komacho looks up at Kovacs
[01:20] <Sara`> <If you want me to tell you directly at any point, tell me. If you need any help or other questions answered, I shall be here.>
[01:20] * Sara` leans back, then looking at Absolution.
[01:20] <[BNS]Komacho> <Do you know why I get gel-us-eee because of Cole?>
[01:21] * Sara` announces without turning:

[01:21] * [BNS]Komacho looks back at Sara, silently pleading for the answer

[01:22] * Sara` pats the ground next to her again. Yet again, she refocuses on Komacho.
[01:22] <[Tess]Kovacs> <Sure I do. But it's a simple enough trick, isn't it? Though I read some from a really complex book a while ago... I think I sort of understood it...>
[01:22] <[Tess]Kovacs> <Come to think of it, does anyone here know what oxytocin is? I just remember what it does.>
[01:23] * [Rut]Absolution obeys, but tests the ground with her foot first. Sara would not ask her to sit on a dangerous spot, but it is better to be safe.

[01:27] * [BNS]Komacho listens to Sara intently, her eyes widening with sudden revelation
[01:27] <Sara`> <I am not exempt either, though other cares most often influence my thoughts.>

[01:27] * [Rut]Absolution waits patiently for Sara's conversation to conclude. Iris says that interrupting is rude.

[01:29] <[BNS]Komacho> <But... I liked attention from Cole before I evolved. Why is it after I evolved that I started getting gel-us-eee?>
[01:30] * [Rut]Absolution thinks. Repressed soul... and Kovacs is a ghost. Is this what they call irony?
[01:31] <Sara`> <In truth, attraction like that can exist at all ages. It's just that its complexity grows, depending on age, I think...>

[01:33] <[BNS]Komacho> <Isn't there a word for it? 'Gel-us-eee from seeing someone get attention from a boy when you're not getting attention' is a lot to say...>

[01:43] <[Rut]Absolution> <Jealousy is a source of great tragedy. It can pit brother against brother, and drives daggers into the backs of innocent men. Humans may cause even greater calamity than nature with such sentiments harbored within. This is what I have learned.>
[01:44] * Sara` is caught off-guard by Absolution's comment, and turns to face her, then Komacho once more.
[01:46] <Sara`> <It's generally considered a bad emotion, but jealousy isn't entirely a bad thing, odd as that is...>

[01:52] <[Rut]Absolution> <Love causes a psychological affiliation with safety or necessity, triggering a reflex to group in times of disaster. This typically results in individuals attempting to maintain proximity with family units. This occasionally causes large groups of humans to be killed if in insufficient shelter.>

[02:00] * [BNS]Komacho leans back against the tree, closing her eyes, sighing contentfully and finally smiling for the first time in a long while. She soon succumbs to sleep.

[02:01] * [Tess]Kovacs gets bored again, floating over to sit on Sara.
[02:02] * Sara` lets herself be sat upon, with the said person being light and all. She faces Absolution, and shifts herself a bit closer to her.

[02:02] <[Rut]Absolution> <I noticed that you were observing the Western skies earlier. I felt nothing in the East. What did you find?>
[02:02] * [Rut]Absolution repeats herself.

[02:11] <[Rut]Absolution> <You are certain you feel nothing approaching?>
[02:11] * Sara` decides to get back at Kovacs by playing another mind trick on her.
[02:12] <[Rut]Absolution> <Gardevoirs are known for the clarity of their visions.>
