- My route has been more or less optimized to my liking for a while, it was all up to grinding for a good time. Must admit though, this run was amazingly lucky. While it's possible to have good splits just about anywhere, this run went so smoothly through a large majority. During most DDS runs you're hoping to save time in the early game, so that when bad things inevitably happen late game you'll be fine. But literally every split aside from Darknite were either just fine, or really great. You can get screwed really just about anywhere, but a 10 min Seeker, and a 12 min P. Seto are really fantastic to see. I'll give general notes and a breakdown of how games in Tier 1, 2, 3, and Darknite went.
- Tier 1
- - Tristan went well, drew Armored and Drill Bug, and made bigger fusions. Hourglass really accelerated the 1 duel it was in.
- - For the 1st Joey duel, I 100% should've boosted with Hourglass rather than lead Drill Bug. Would've had 3 good beatsticks + Drill Bug instead, and not have been walled by Mountain Warrior.
- Tier 2
- - Duribg the slow Espa Roba duel, the best play was to fuse for Lord of D. with the Dreams and set Abyss. I would still have Hourglass for Megacyber, then next turn Lord of D would beat over his monster. Then you could summon Witch and boost both, getting to 1700 ATK.
- Tier 3
- - For Heishin/Slysheen, I put in Clown Zombie over Uraby because I forgot about it lol. If I put Uraby in, it would have gotten over Geedo's 1400 DEF in the first duel with him, helping me win a turn earlier.
