[12:48am] Soulless: "Accept that, in that situation, there was nothing you could've done except to fail."
[12:49am] Soulless: "It's important to accept the world for what it is, sometimes cruel, sometimes overwhelming."
[12:49am] Alivi: “…I know. Jo…he said similar thing."
[12:50am] Alivi: When she mentions jo she smiles.
[12:50am] MrHat-2 left the chat room. (Operation timed out)
[12:50am] Alivi: Its a small one but it is there.
[12:51am] Alivi: She sighs and nods, “…but I guess you are right….in this case…there really was nothing…"
[12:51am] Soulless: He also smiles. "I think Jo would think it's important for you to accept it, and not need to suffer any longer."
[12:51am] Soulless: He nods.
[12:51am] Soulless: "But it still feels bad, doesn't it?"
[12:52am] Alivi: She nods, “Y-Yea, and he said that he would help or try to…"
[12:53am] Soulless: "I can help, under two conditions."
[12:55am] Alivi: “Two conditions?"
[12:56am] Soulless: "One- you cannot speak about my helping you. Two- you must trust me. If you don't, I can't help you. It simply won't work." This is a lie, but she doesn't know that.
[12:56am] Alivi: She blinks
[12:56am] Alivi: “…is…it that bad? Like I can’t even tell others who might need help?”
[12:58am] Alivi: “And I do trust you- if it makes you feel any better."
[12:59am] Soulless: He smiles. "You can tell them they can talk to me, but they must under their own power and their own free will. It's important that, like you take your own power in accepting yourself and your actions, they must, too."
[01:00am] Alivi: “I see…"
[01:00am] Soulless: "Do you accept these conditions?"
[01:00am] Alivi: “Um…sure….” She is still unsure with what is going on.
[01:01am] Soulless: He offers his hand. "Please, give me your hand. And trust me." He's suddenly changed demeanors. No smiles. No softness. He's taking her, and the situation, with absolute seriousness.
[01:02am] Alivi: She offers her hand still a bit unsure but reminding herself that Rolf is a friend. But the change in demenor is weird to her. But then again doesn’t she get serious when she goes into work mode?
[01:04am] Soulless: He takes out a knife and cuts across the top of her hand, not looking away from her eyes; he's trying to pin her in place with his gaze alone. Given the smothering power of his presence, it's a pretty effective strategy for those that don't expect it.
[01:04am] Soulless: "Tell me again, with your own voice, how you accept your failures."
[01:04am] Soulless: "Tell me you accept you could've done nothing."
[01:09am] MrHat left the chat room. (Quit: Leaving)
[01:12am] Alivi: She winces when the knife cuts her and can feel the blood welling up, “[Ow-]” She moves her hand and moves to take a step back, But at the same time that look in his eyes makes her afraid to fully pull away. She can’t even look away to see what happened to her hand, “…I…there….was nothing I could’ve done. That’s my failure and..I accept it.” She is speaking quietly.
[01:13am] Soulless: He brings the hand up to her mouth. "Please do not pull away until I'm done. I promise, this is for your sake, and you will feel better."

[01:15am] Soulless: Izumi can feel it happening, like something is seeping from her body and through her arm. It feels not unlike a rush of blood after standing up suddenly. She can see his sclera fill with a thick, inky blackness, and his veins around his mouth, eyes, and then down the face and throat become a darkish blue.
[01:17am] Soulless: By the time he pulls away, there is no more injury on the back of her hand, and she feels... immediately better. Pretty immediately better, like, all her guilt and turmoil and inner-conflict about what she could've done has been lifted from her. She doesn't necessarily forgive herself, or does she feel /good/ about what happened.
[01:17am] Soulless: But the turmoil is gone.
[01:18am] Soulless: And all there is her own statement and acceptance that she failed.
[01:19am] Alivi:  She is looking at her hand just…in shock. She looks back up at him and wraps her arms around herself.
[01:19am] Soulless: He lets her go and stands back, blinks the blackness from his eyes and does a final swallow. "...Wel, there we are." He sounds like he's got a sore throat.
[01:20am] Alivi: “…What…”  her voice is shakey, “…How…”
[01:20am] Soulless: He smiles, and looks like he might be a little sick, but it passes quickly. He takes a breath, exhales, and is the Rolf Izumi knows again. Gentle, sweet, and comforting.
[01:21am] Soulless: "It is a miracle caused by your own self-acceptance, Izumi."
[01:21am] Alivi: “…miracle?"
[01:21am] Soulless: "Yes. A miracle that occurs when people accept their pain."
[01:22am] Soulless: He clears his throat, a terrible and scratchy sound. It just /sounds/ painful.
[01:22am] Alivi: “…I- …I see.”
[01:22am] Alivi: “Y-your…throat..was that…"
[01:22am] Alivi: She puts her hand to her head, “Are you ok?”
[01:22am] Soulless: "...Are you feeling better?" He smiles.
[01:22am] Alivi: “…T-that’s….please…tell me if you are ok?"
[01:23am] Soulless: "If you feel better, then, I'm just fine. This was for your sake, after all. Anything for a friend."
[01:23am] Alivi: “….P-please if such thing hurt you…don’t do it."
[01:24am] Soulless: He coughs again. "...It's fine. It's just the after-effects. It hurts me less than it hurts you."
[01:24am] Alivi: “I don’t understand I feel fine."
[01:24am] Soulless: "You feel better."
[01:24am] Alivi: “yes..”
[01:25am] Soulless: He smiles. "Then all is well. Your... guilt, is now in me."
[01:25am] Alivi: “….why?"
[01:25am] Soulless: "Because you accepted yourself, and therefore, allowed me to relieve you."
[01:26am] Soulless: "Now you can move on and become a better person."
[01:26am] Alivi: “…I….I see…”
[01:27am] Soulless: He takes an inhale, then an exhale. "...I hope you keep your word, Izumi. It would hurt me very much, if you thought our friendship was that worthless."
[01:27am] Alivi: “…I…w-wait what?"
[01:28am] Soulless: "That you not tell others."
[01:28am] Alivi: “…N..not even…?”
[01:28am] Soulless: "Not even." He shakes his head.
[01:28am] Alivi: “Do… others know about this?”
[01:28am] Soulless: "No."
[01:28am] Alivi: “….” Her eyes are just wide.

[01:29am] Soulless: He clears his throat again. Man this doesn't go down easy.

[01:30am] Fae: Evan wanders outside.

[01:31am] Fae: Rolf might see the well of endless and crystal-clear hardship.
[01:32am] Soulless: Rolf's pretty sated right now. He nods to Evan and waves.
[01:32am] Fae: EVan nods and waves back. "Morning."
[01:32am] Alivi: Izumi gives a small wave but seems a bit overwhelmed

[01:33am] Fae: Evan notices the overwhelmedness. "Everything okay?"
[01:33am] Alivi: “Yes! Just reallllly busy day.” She says nodding.

[01:33am] Alivi: “….I haven’t slept yet.” She admits
[01:34am] Fae: Evan chuckles. "Might be a good idea to get some."
[01:34am] Soulless: "Just fine, Evan. I'm making sure Izumi gets some sleep." He chuckles- wow that is a /rasp/.
[01:34am] Fae: "Still got the cold?"
[01:35am] Soulless: "Unfortunately, yes. I feel less tired but... I guess this throat issue will stay a little longer."
[01:35am] Soulless: "Thanks for your concern."
[01:35am] Alivi: “I will help with thing from medical. Hopefully it work."
[01:35am] Fae: He nods. "Hope you feel better."
[01:36am] Fae: Perc to discretely check if theres anything else unusual going on with Rolf?
[01:36am] Alivi: Izumi rubs the back of her hand

[01:38am] Soulless: You don't notice anything amiss besides the rasp. For a second you think his pale irises are just a shade darker than before, but honestly, it /is/ some pretty poor lighting here.
[01:38am] Soulless: It's no darker than when you saw him when he was brushing hair out of his eyes at some point.
[01:40am] Fae: "Well, I won't keep you then." He wanders off. ~Curiouser and curiouser.~
