꒰ BACKGROUND ꒱ ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ ┊ born in hong kong to a middle class family, jiayi always knew she had a fond interest of music and performing arts. she learnt the piano since age 5, which was when her family moved to boston, massachusetts, and has since also learnt the violin. singing has always been her passion, and she enjoys bursting into song wherever she is. she was originally going to study biology in boston university, having got in with her higher-than-average grades. however, wanting to pursue her dream of becoming a singer, she gave up the chance, travelling to korea with her brother in hopes of making her wish come true.

>> goofy ; very quirky and weird. has multiple ear piercings and does really outlandish things like twerking to some hoe anthem in a store or maybe just freestyle dancing in public. also cracks quite a few dirty jokes. gets super hype in celebratory occassions. oh, and she has a tattoo of a heart on her wrist.
>> outgoing -> adores making friends. for example: "oh my god you're chinese too? we have to be friends let's go out tomorrow". isn't just there for the attention though; she actually cares about all her friends, so so much.
>> caring -> she can be really calm and collected if she wants to. cares about the people around her a lot. she learned first aid and home nursing as a middle schooler.
>> loud -> she hollers a lot and talks a bit too much for her friends' liking. she knows how to kinda tone it down though.
>> bad-tempered -> boy, she can get angry very easily. if you trigger her, prepare to risk getting beaten up.
