Thanks for the extra pie

Covet: Kelsey came out of her dorm from tucking Connor in and made her way back into the common area. It'd been a long tense weekend for them, but they'd done pretty good about keeping theirselves in check in front of him. She leaned against the couch and put her head down giving a heavy sigh because there was still so much she needed to get situated after her little stint.
Alexithymiaa: -Brad was sitting on the couch running through the edit of the Krucial Kittens video he'd been sent to finalize. He was just watching the video play through in his lap, his arms crossed over his chest with a stern look on his face.-
Covet: Kelsey glanced over at him and then walked into the kitchen to get her and Bradley something sweet. Pulling out the sugar free pumpkin pie they'd picked up on their way home, she cut them out a couple of slices and got some whipped cream out to put it onto the slices of pie. Putting everything away, she grabbed the slices of pie and brought one out to him sitting down and offering it to him. "Here."
Alexithymiaa: -He glanced up from the video just long enough to take the plate from her, looking back to the screen. "Thanks. This came out better than I thought it was going to. I'm actually pretty happy with it."-
Covet: "Yeah?" Kelsey asked, sitting back to glance over at his screen. "Surprising since you know, you weren't able to really stretch your wings on it like you wanted.
Covet: * ."
Alexithymiaa: "I guess I'm more creative than I give myself credit for." He said with a grin as the video ended. Opening his email, he shot off a quick OK to the editor to give him the green light to send it off to the producer and client before beginning to dig into his pie. "Plus I've got Liz and Anna's videos coming up so those will be pretty cool. Anna's got really big ideas for this new one so it'll be cool to work on."-
Covet: "That's fantastic." She told him with a smile. "Sounds like you're going to be booked through the new year." She said to him as she took a bite of her pie. "You're doing great with everything." Kelsey added with just the slight twinge of guilt and jealousy.
Alexithymiaa: "I think Anna's is going to take me longer than they usually do. She has so many different set ups in mind. It seemed like she was trying harder to rival the one I did for you." He pushed another bite of pie into hhis mouth, turning to look at her.-
Covet: "Oh yeah? Well that's sweet, but you're not going to go all out for her in that way are you?" Kelsey asked looking over at him speculatively.
Alexithymiaa: "Well, I'm going to give her what she wants, yeah, but I'm not going to add onto what she's already asking for. I can't just tell her I won't do her ideas." FInishing off his pie, he set the plate down next to him on the couch, moving his hands to the keyboard. "And the video I'm going to do for Liz is pretty cool, but apparently it's featuring Aubrey."-
Covet: "I didn't mean quite like that, I just meant... you know.. not letting her video actually be better than mine." Kelsey said, trying not to sound jealous but she totally sounded jealous. "Oh, Well.. You have fun dealing with that hot mess." She said.
Alexithymiaa: "Well I'm not setting out to make it intentionally better than yours, but I'm not exactly going to sabotage my own video shoot just so yours ends up being better..." He started, furrowing his brows.-
Covet: "Right." Kelsey said catching his look. "I've got to get this next album out, then I was thinking about maybe doing a video that's more... intimate. Raw? I dunno, it's just an idea right now. I've got other things to focus on right now."
Alexithymiaa: "Well I'm sure I can recommend some good directors I know." He said quickly, intentionally trying to make a dig that she'd said she didnt want to work with him anymore.-
Covet: Kelsey looked over at him then looked down sheepishly, "Oh...You don't want to work with me...because I said...right..." She set her plate down suddenly no longer hungry for the rest of her pie. "I'll let you know when I figure out for sure what's being done, I guess."
Alexithymiaa: "Well they're all good so I'm sure regardless of what ideas you come up with, any one of them would suit your needs." He was kind of pleased like an asshole that she looked so disappointed because it had upset him when she said it to him the first time.-
Covet: "Mhhm." Kelsey said. She wanted to apologize for what she'd said, but at the same time she wasn't because she really didn't like his behavior towards Steph, and that's why she told him that. Looking down at her pie she handed it over to him. "Will you finish that so I can wash the dishes real quick."
Alexithymiaa: "Sure." He said, gladly accepting the plate with the remainder of her pie on it. "Actually, I think you'd get along pretty well with Ingrid. She's like Rosie the Riveter and all super female empowerment. And a great director."-
Covet: She nodded her head, "Sounds like it could be worth while. I'll get her contact info from you later." Kelsey said with a soft smile. "I don't even know what I want to do between the album release and the tour."
Alexithymiaa: "Well you definitely want to do something to stay relevant." He said as he shoved the rest of her pie into his mouth, passing her the now empty plate.-
CovetCovet : "Yeah, that's not drama being blasted by TMZ." Kelsey said. "So a video seems to be the logical way to go, or to be working on new music right?"
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, pretty much. And as long as we can keep everything under control, we can keep that TMZ drama to a minimum, too."-
Covet: "Mhhm." She told him then tucked her hair behind her ear. "We got pretty lucky with all of this stuff... and that the worst they got their hands on was the arguement at the dance."
AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : "I'd say. Everyone has public argument bullshit turning up in tabloids so that was nothing. And it's already fading, too."-
Covet: "Yeah, maybe it was good, a distraction from the real problem." Kelsey said with a sigh.
Alexithymiaa: "I guess you could say that, but that doesn't mean it's going to be a distraction from the real problem for you. YOU aare going to remember the mistakes and the right thing to do."-
Covet: "I never said it was going to be." Kelsey said looking over at him with a glare. "well I'm surely not going to forget."
Alexithymiaa: "Good. And we're definitely never going to put ourselves in a position that Connor runs off again. We should never have to prove that we're what's best for him."-
Covet: "Definitely." Kelsey said with a nod. "That means... toning down the arguements and not involving him in them, by name or otherwise."
Alexithymiaa: "Agreed." He said with a nod. "But that also means that arguments in generaal should be more like... discussions."-
Covet: "Yeah. I'm sure the drugs only added fuel to my end of things too." Kelsey said sheepishly. "But that's not going to be an issue anymore."
Alexithymiaa: "Good. The first 72 hours are the worst of it, so now that that's over, it should be a little easier. And I got rid of everything I had so it's not even here aanymore either. No temptations."-
Covet: "You did?" Kelsey said looking at him. "Thank you. That's probably for the best too."
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, of course I did. Did you think I was just going to keep that shit here when you have a problem?" He asked harshly.-
Covet: "No!" Kelsey said, "No not at all. I'm just surprised that you went to those lengths. You've been stern, but it's all been the right things, and I'm sorry I've been so difficult through this."
Alexithymiaa: "I have to be stern. It's like chemical at this point. If it wasn't difficult, I'd be surprised. That's sort of how drugs work." He adjusted the beanie on his head, passing the dishes to her. "Here, put these in the sink. I need to finish sending off these approvals."-
Covet: "Mhhm." Kelsey said leaving it at that as he handed her her plate, then got up to go clean them and such while he finished his work so that they could go to sleep.
