ABOUT

As an angel, an agonizingly bored Azazel went to Earth to play with the humans. Wanting to be entertained, they taught them how to fashion weapons and decorate their bodies with colorful paints. God became aware of their corruption and how it had spread and ordered Azazel’s then boyfriend, Raphael to carry out their punishment.

Azazel was bound at the hands and feet, to be thrown mercilessly into Hell. God having ordered that Azazel never see light again, Raphael removed both of their eyes. Until this day Azazel harbors an intense hatred for both God and Raphael, whom he will never forgive.

In Hell, Azazel is welcomed into the elite social community of fellow fallen angels. Though because they are relatively “new” compared to the original fallen angels, there is a light stigma about them that never completely goes away. Nonetheless, they experience all of the perks of being near the top of the social ladder. They work as a Concierge for the Royal Palace, acting as a guide for guests and visitors as well as the head coordinator of hospitality.

Appearances are extremely important to Azazel, making sure that they have immaculate clothing, perfect hair and flawless make-up at all times. They have an attendant in their home, Gaap, who acts as a butler, maid and personal assistant. He helps Azazel prepare themself for the day, takes care of the house chores and cooks their meals. Though they are just a familiar, Azazel refers to Gaap fondly like a beloved pet.

Azazel, while cordial on the outside, is also a very snide personality. They often talk down to others and make quips at their expense, all while keeping an even tone so as not to be caught. While they are known to seem vapid and judgmental, they’re also infamous for being extremely clumsy. Because Azazel has no eyes they are prone to walking into walls and tripping over things, including their long, ornate robes and tunics.

Azazel cannot hold their alcohol but drinks heavily often, typically with Beleth. They almost always become overly emotional, sometimes crying for hours. They get hangovers very easily.

They are very interested in pursuing romance, despite their lack of game. Azazel is a switch, from aggressive bottom to aggressive top.

RELATIONSHIPS

BELETH
Azazel’s closest friend. They often spend nights together drinking wine and bitching about their ex-boyfriends in Heaven. Azazel trusts him a great deal and is very outwardly affectionate with him.

STOLAS
Admires him, almost entirely based on rumors he’s heard. Azazel thinks his voice is hot.

ETNUS
A very kind demon familiar. Azazel enjoys talking with Etnus, finding he always has an interesting story to tell. More than once Azazel has thanked him for helping him after a clumsy accident.

LEVIATHAN
Azazel finds Leviathan to be exceedingly annoying, but the truth of the matter is their personalities are just too similar. They often engage in banter and Leviathan looks for ways to blackmail them.

GAAP
Azazel’s precious servant familiar. Gaap is very patient with them, happy to remind them of appointments and events. Gaap generally keeps Azazel alive, so he is highly appreciated. Azazel loves to spoil him with affection, treating him like a pet.
