- The trick here is figuring out how to apply your "physical optimization" trick to your body on a wide scale. You can Reinforce individual cells or even groups of tissues fairly easily when you think about it, but it's much more difficult to apply that same effect of semi-permanent Reinforcement to your body as a whole without worrying about messing something up. You are forced to meditate and work with your old understanding of the body as well, having not totally integrated your understanding and personal advancements into your habits just yet. It's slow going work but you think you're making good progress-
- Oh? What's this?
- It's a sort of slow realization as you realize-staring intently at individual cells and comparing them to nearby ones-that certain cells in your body are hundreds of times better than average where others are hundreds of times worse in the same vein.
- It only takes a bit of focus to identify those massively more efficient, effective, and all-around better cells in your body, and using a combination of Reinforcement and Alteration to spread that design about throughout the rest of the cells in those tissues is simplicity itself; it's not like you're doing anything particularly difficult, after all. With a bit of prodding you even realize that the "optimized" cells reproduce at vaguely the same levels of optimization as well, meaning that once a set of tissues has been "optimized" it'll stay at that leve-wait, no, there's a cell that's far wor-holy f**k that's a cell that's even better.
- Without even thinking about it you proceed to spend the rest of the time you'd allotted to Reinforcing your body to "optimize" every single set of cells in your body.
- "Holy crap." You can only mutter afterwards, flexing your hands and blinking stupidly. You lash a punch out and watch in stupefaction as a harsh gust of wind is generated just by a casual punch. "Holy crap."
- (Body is now permanently on-par with five times maximum human capability without even a major upswing in how much nutrition you need! Further Reinforcement is possible with ease!)
