  1. TrueCrypt was found to be compromised years ago and should only be used to decrypt so that you can then use the open source fork "VeraCrypt." It even says so on their website, first sentence.

  3. Also, SpiderOak? Never store your personal data in a "Five Eyes" country. Use Tresorit instead. The only downside is I think it uses Azure, but they claim they use "zero knowledge" applications. And if Tresorit is either too much to handle or not enough space, HubiC is great; 25GB of free storage to start with and based in France.
