  1. Hello! So this isn't a guide for new players, I figure that most gibus players won't even know this place exists. This is a guide for people who main that one class over and over. Try something new! Or, in the least a new play style. I'll be going in class order, with one strange weapon for each class… So

  3. The scout: Oh boy, as a medic main, I love healing these guys. Zooming around the map while healing a lime green scout is so much fun.

  5. The main points for playing him are: high mouse sensitivity. The scout works best when you can line up shots quickly, then run away even more quickly. I first picked up scout and I sucked. I didn't get a single kill in 13 hours of playing. Then I brought a mouse and replaced my shitty trackpad. So much easier to aim and shoot, you need a good mouse to play this guy.

  7. The main tips for playing him are:
  8. 1 Pick your fights. Never rush headlong into more then one enemy. You will die.
  9. 2 The classes the scout works best against are:
  10. 1 Demoman This guy gets easily destroyed if you can dodge and he doesn't have a sticky trap. Stay out of melee range
  11. 2 Sniper If you get close to this guy, he's dead. Watch the jarate, but he doesn't have the health to rush you with melee
  12. 3 Spy Hard to track down, but easy to kill.
  13. 4 Medic. An easy pick when alone. Don't let him Ubersaw you, it will crit and one shot you

  15. Harder classes
  16. 1 Pyro Stay out the range of his flamethrower and hope he isn't using the scorch shot. The 90 damage of afterburn with 125 health is… not good.
  17. 2 Solider Keep out the way of his rockets. The splash can juggle you. Unless he's using the direct hit and can't aim, then kill him with your pistol and watch the rage.
  18. 3 Heavy Hard to bring down because of high health. If their sensitivity is low, jump around them in circles. If you sneak up on them, you can bring them down quite easily. If they're using the Natasha…. You're dead.

  20. Classes to avoid:
  21. Engie: his sentry will shred you. Stay out of range and use pistol if possible. If you can get close, easy pickings as long as he doesn't get lucky with a shotgun or widowmaker. Gunslinger engines are slightly more hassle.

  23. Weapons:
  24. Primary:
  25. Scattergun: The best in almost every situation. Use this as your go to.
  26. Soda Popper: really has almost the same DPS as the scattergun, with this you need to get closer then normal. You can two shot everything with 150 health or under fairly easily, and the extra jumps pair well with the winger or atomiser and make fighting demomen and soilder easy.
  27. Backscatter: No worse or better then stock, like the soda popper you need to get close. A good weapon that is rarely seen. It encourages flanking which is a good way to play scout.
  28. Baby face's blaster: No… just.. it's so bad.
  29. Shortstop: good if there's a ton of soilders or classes you need to fight at medium range. Underestimated because getting close is normally easy. Using the shove and then firing all four shots into someone launches them so far.
  30. Force of nature: Good on maps with lots of places to launch people off. Otherwise it sucks.

  32. Secondary:
  33. Pistol: good all around, best choice for backscatter, sucks with sodapopper, shortstop and FoN.
  34. Winger: good with sodapopper and shortstop because DPS
  35. Pretty Boy's pocket pistol: has higher DPS then pistol if one clip will do it. Pretty much a direct upgrade
  36. Bonk: good against sentries and for trolling. You can use it as a kind of uber, distracting the sentry and letting your team push
  37. Crit a cola: Cunt
  38. Mad milk: Good as a support weapon for pushes and a fight opener.
  39. Flying Guillotine: Good as a fight opener before you get close, useless against sentries.
  40. Melee
  41. Bat: hahaha. No
  42. Boston Basher: Building Uber and basher jumps. That's about it.
  43. Fan o war: God in Mann Vs Machine. Sucks otherwise
  44. Wrap assassin: This is a meh weapon. It pairs well if you're using it with the guillotine as a meme.
  45. Sandman: An ok weapon for closing in on people.
  46. Candy cane: It's a bad weapon unless you avoid all explosive classes.
  47. Atomiser: My pick. Three jumps is good. If you use both your jumps and have a rocket coming for you. Then you're defenseless.
  48. Sun on a stick: overpowered. The best weapon in the game. Anyone using this is a God.
  49. Fighting: If your crosshair is nestled inside their hotbox, pew them. Otherwise dodge like hell and see how close you can get. Backpeddle like hell out of fights while using your pistol to keep foes back, or your shotgun if facing another scout. Besides this, it's all about getting the drop on people and learning when you're out matched
