Ask your sword for advice and the DM will impart a clue, secret knowledge, or a full Appraisal of the opponent's stats. If the DM can't think of anything give an autocrit to the next successful roll in battle. Can be used outside of combat for general advice with a cooldown of 3 turns.

With a lanky stature and bowl cut hairstyle that covers his eyes. He wears one of the more upscale chain mail armor, meshed with leather and fine garment for comfort. His armor has brown and olive colors where there is leather, along with protruding starburst patterns running along the exterior. His shoulders and back drape a long dark cyan cloak. He wears this cloak inside out because of the patterns on it that depict the story of Nightmare Moon from the sympathizer's perspective. During a recent night in camp huddled around the bonfire an older Stallion pointed out how Numbra looked like a child wearing mommy's blanket. After failing to reprise a comeback everyone laughed at him. He actually has quite a bit of attachment to the cloak too. People call Numbra Little Sword after the weapon that he carries, and he prefer's going by that name because he doesn't want people to try robbing him. To most he appears meek and naive though he is just as much of an audacious runt as the rest of mercenaries he keeps company with.

BackStory: Numbra WortCaster third born son to family WortCaster, a Family of knighthood with substantial renown and capital though nortoriously prodgeny of Nightmare Moon's sympathizers during the days of war between Night and Day. Numbra WortCaster was disowned by his family at the age of 19 after his Father had appraised Numbra for a worthless loaf who will bring nothing up from the world and dishonors his family. Numbra was cast out from his home at FetteredMoon Keep, the only things on his person were some armor, food, trinkets, and the family sword he had stolen from The Family Hearth.

Sword's Personality: The great spirit and family Hero, Fol'Crest WortCaster, Greatest ancestor of the Worthcaster line who was a captain in Nightmare Moon's war and gave his life valiantly fighting for her sovereignty. His spirit now resides in this sword, to lead WortCaster's in times of crisis. And although his opinion of Numbra is quite low and he doesn't at all agree with his theft of the sword, Fol'Crescent WortCaster upholds his duty to serve the WortCaster children in their times of crisis. A very honorable and uptight batpony spirit, with a strict philosophy. His personality is basically that of Tywin Lannister from game of Thrones.

The sword is a short sword. The blade is narrow although very sturdy looking, and also dark purple in sheen. The metal is gray and casted with magical alloys. The hilt is 2 inches wide with little little slits engraved, purposed for gliding deflected blades against the user. Phases of the moon are etched onto the face of the wide hilt. The sword handle is engraved with the crests of the families that fought under Fol'Crest's command.
Although Numbra has some skill in sword practice, it's the spirit of the sword that does all of the finesse and heavy lifting. It imparts Numbra's hoof with the skills of a master.
