- +Mitch Conner __ The well-spoken young man realised he was forming an improper sentence and before going through with it corrected himself - _with another improper sentence._ Sure, that's possible. After all, that's what he did.
- You keep asking for "unequivocal evidence" but the lie system does not make fatal mistakes. It would be akin to a boom mic being visible in a serious movie. *We can have no reasonable expectation of it ever happening*. Such a single fatal mistake captured on video from an "official source" [the nightly news] would be categorical proof of outright deception against the trusting population and there would - overnight - be a global revolution. Television studios would be burned down and journalists attacked before anger turned into revenge on all the rest.
- Without fatal mistakes what does that leave us with? You reject what remains because it's always more subtle and necessarily subjective. A "plausible explanation" can be invented for every oddity and anomaly with no way of determining whether your plausible explanation is correct.
- That suggests you are approaching this from the position of an "event realist" where _"everything is [as much as possible] real unless it can [to my satisfaction] be proven otherwise"._
- That would be fair enough *but aren't you someone who accepts events can be staged*? (Unless your position on the alleged "Boston Marathon Bombing" has also changed??)
- If you accept events can be staged then you are being incredibly (if not also credulously) generous to revert back to trusting known and confirmed liars. If it was expedient for "them" to not tell us the truth in the past why would "they" start limiting themselves to telling the truth?
- I must ask: *What have you seen that necessarily proves a slaughter really happened other than "I heard about it on the news"?* I've seen nothing except proof's appearances.
- Certainly - I can no more assert that a massacre did not take place any more than "event realists" can assert it definitely did. *And that is the larger point I've been trying to make for almost two years* that only a disfigured handful of people have managed to understand.
- It's not that events and claims are true and real or not true and not real - it's that each person is forced to use his or her imagination to fill in the blanks and convince themselves as to whether something did or did not happen.
- Those who trust the lie system will believe whatever they are told - even if it's an alien invasion. Those who do not trust will doubt whatever they're told - even if it's yesterday's sport results.
