- Letter 1:
- My Friend Thalia,
- I hope this letter finds you well. I and the other sisters are so happy for you to set out into the world! We often talk about what the wild roads and the dutchy must be like. I hope when this letter finds you you'll write back about it all. To be honest, when you told us you were going I was a bit jealous. It is something I've admitted in my confessionals, but it wouldn't be right not to tell you too. Don't think badly of me; its just such a wonderful idea to see the world outside of the temple.
- May the blessings of Isis keep you,
- Sister Abagail
- Letter 2:
- My Friend Thalia,
- Things have grown strange in Orlane. There is an odd distrust sewn into the folks here now. It's like neighbors are perfect strangers now. Abbess Misha has been acting oddly too. While we still hold regular service, she's been taking many of the sisters back in the evening and they've come out...different. Sister Martha hasn't been herself for a week, Sister Mary no longer speaks, and Sister Ki-sul seems so angry when she used to be the most sensitive soul. It seems more and more of the sisters grow strangely cross by the day.
- Not only that, but the abbess opened the abbey to new brothers, but they are so odd. These monks often practice fighting in the courtyard when it's closed in the evening, and one is marked in a sinister ink. I know it's a sin to gossip, but I'm really worried Sister Thalia.
- I will keep you updated, may Isis keep you,
- Sister Abagail
- Letter 3:
- Thalia
- You can disregard my last letters. I was a bit paranoid, but things in the town are fine. Abbess Misha keeps the temple well. Orlane is well, and more at peace than ever.
- Regards,
- Abagail
