  1. Start: 2 am, Wednesday, Midsummer 9, 401 GA
  2.
  3. The party intervened in the confrontation between the troll, the goblin, and the gargoyle, after hearing the gargoyle identify them and petition them for aid.
  4.
  5. They emerged victorious. Dramira assisted, but the Spider Queen noticed she did not assist as much as she could have. Near the end of the altercation, she fled down the northern tunnel.
  6.
  7. The party immediately questioned the gargoyle on his identity and called his bluff. He mentioned 'Then it cannot be helped. I am tasked with impeding you, and I will do so.'
  8.
  9. Furthermore, it was revealed he was in fact Olgarr, a servant of Andran. He admitted it when questioned by Mira.
  10.
  11. The party did battle with the four-armed gargoyle. During the combat, Mira implored her patron to take pity on her and assist her. She was heard.
  12.
  13. After an extremely touch and go fight, the party emerged badly battered but victorious. During the end of the combat, the Spider Queen overheard Dramira arguing with a male duergar. He made an appearance after the combat was complete and chided Dramira. He did not seem to care she was rescued, only that she 'deceived' him.
  14.
  15. Dramira seemed upset at this turn of events, and when asked, told the party he protects the camp, and his name is Larin.
  16.
  17. The party drained the troll's blood in Vasileios' cauldron, which he carried with him.
  18.
  19. In the duergar camp, Vasileios commissioned a holy symbol of Isha. He received a well made, but fantastically sexualized version of what he asked for.
  20.
  21. Mira commissioned two outfits, one of which she wore. The fibers were made of the cave mosses and were durable and soft.
  22.
  23. Mira attempted to speak with Larin, but was half-ignored.
  24.
  25. Marty 'Long-Shins' was informed of the temple. He seemed surprised and mentioned he would investigate it right away.
  26.
  27. Dramira attempted to pay Vasileios, and it was briefly discussed if she would accompany the party.
  28.
  29. At this time, Dramira revealed she was a former slave of Monokphíl, the pranic mistress of Kor. She explained her underdweller view of psionics, and called it 'the breath of the mind'. The differences in surface dweller and underdweller perceptions of the art were illustrated.
  30.
  31. Dramira told the party she would only go if her brother, a master blacksmith, also consented to go. Luna voiced her concerns they would be made slaves if they were taken back to the Viszudar.
  32.
  33. The party elected to leave Dramira behind, ultimately, and departed from the camp after resting.
  34.
  35. They left through the west entrance, taking the stair into the swamp into the surface.
  36.
  37. There, on the surface, they were greeted by a scouting party of Silverglade elves. After some tense discussion and the elves asking for their yield, it was mentioned the party were allies of the duergar. The elves claimed they 'have no quarrel with Larin's minions' and released them.
  38.
  39. It appeared the duergar were creating a trading post on the surface. This appeared to be permitted by the local elves.
  40.
  41. The party collected their bearings. They realized quickly they were impossibly far away from where they started. Confused, they backtracked through the depths. This appeared to bring them to where they intended, although it was not clear how.
  42.
  43.
  44. XP: 1920
  45. End: Noon, Thursday, Midsummer 10, 401 GA
