- Sound type is sometimes regarded as the subtle type. Many a "Normal" type has a second type of "Sound" and some researchers as the Miska Town University claim that some Pokémon may have a third element type that is this. The problem is Sound type is easy to overshadow with almost any other type, so much so that Sound type attacks are often regarded simply as "Normal" types.
- Strong Against: *Nothing in common generations*
- Weak Against: Ghost, Steel, Fighting, Ground, Rock
- -Sound type only become notable as Pure Sound type attacks and pure Sound type pokemon *which are rare to find outside of some isolated regions-
- are strong against
- Fairy, Mystic, and Evil types.
- and weak against
- Light, and Void types.
- In the end Sound types are weak against seven other types and only strong against three.
- Of those three, the Mystic is extremely rare and thought to be extinct in most of the world due to conflicts between the higher orders of Pokémon, and the Evil type believed to be completely wiped out by Pokémon and Humans alike who fought against the Evil types in ancient times for their very survival.
- Of the seven it is weak against:
- Ground, Rock, and Steel: resist Sound attacks, but do no extra damage to Sound types.
- *Light is the same way*
- Ghost types are normally immune to Sound type attacks.
- Sound types however receive extra damage from Fighting Types, and a whole 4x damage from Void types *which are also extremely rare*.
