New Years Resolution 2022

Since COVID is still a massive issue, i'm gonna keep my 2022 new years resolution goals fairly simple, here's what they are:

1. Hit 100.000 subscribers
This is probably my biggest priority for next year and should be fairly attainable with my current trajectory, although you never know how the algorithm is gonna treat me, and my videos could just stop being interesting to people. At this milestone, I wanna commission a new profile picture, (my current one is technically a copyrighted image) make some changes to patreon and host a Q/A on my channel.

2. Create an IRL documentary
Even though COVID is making this way harder than it should be, i really want to take a risk with my channel and make an IRL documentary about speedrunning, specificly Ratchet & Clank speedruns. A lot of the people i've known in the scene for a while have become some of my best friends ever and i really wanted to document how we've all met and have continued our friendship once most of us stopped running the games. And also a bit about how the birth of the scene happened on SDA, SRL and Skype. I won't reveal more on this, but just know that this is something i'm planning on doing.

3. Put on a show at ESA
I'm running Sly 2 Episode 6 at ESA Winter 2022, where I'm going to attempt to put on a good showing of the game to hopefully pave the way for a potential full-game run later down the line. For this reason i want to lower my world record for the category, but more on that below.

4. Speedrunning Goals
I've been running for a really long time and it's very difficult to stay committed for more than 2 weeks to any game nowadays, but i really wanna get some times i'm happy with despite some burnout from time to time.
Jak 3 - No OoB 40:xx
Jak 3 - All Missions 2:35:xx
Jak 3 - 100% WR
Sly 2 - Episode 6 - 27:xx
Jak 2 - Any% Sub 1 Hour (at minimum, might take it lower)
I might get the urge to play Dad N' Me, Jak 1 or a new game but i'm keeping my goal list very simple for now.

5. Eat healthier
My birthday is very close to christmas, so for both of those events, i feel that my family didn't really know what to get me, so i got a ton of candy and i just realize my body can't devour it the way i used to when i was a kid, so i'm gonna focus really hard on not buying sweets, eat more greens and just cooking more meals overall.

6. Continue to improve as a person overall
When i was younger i would get into a lot of unnecessary drama for seemingly no reason. I've grown a ton and i realize that throwing mud simply doesn't accomplish anything and i've not had any involvment in major arguments or discourse in over a year and a half. Weird thing to celebrate i know but i just wanted to acknowledge the fact that i've grown. I hope to stay on this path and continue to elevate people and focus on shedding light on the people that are doing good things in speedrunning. Don't want to cover drama or cheating scenarios unless it's absolutely vital to the story of any of my videos.

7. Move out
I've been wanting to move out of living with my mom since 2019 but i simply didn't have the funds to support it. I moved to the UK to live with my buddy Cippy in January 2020 and stayed there until July, just to get a fresh look on life in general - this is the place where i decided i wanted to try to pursue youtube. I came back to Denmark in July 2020 and i've been here since then, where i've just mostly been on the video grind, raising enough funds to find an affordable apartment. I'm currently saving up so that I have a decent amount to fall back on in case i get screwed over by youtube demonetization or something of the sort one of the months. I hope that in 2022 i can accomplish this goal, and start a life of living on my own and setting my own rules for myself. I will admit that i wish i didn't have to put sponsorships into my videos, but it's necessary for me in achieving this very goal, and also purchasing equipment to increase the quality of my videos and my stream.

Also one last thing, i get that i'm getting more popular on youtube, but just try to treat me as any other person<3 (especially in twitch chat). I'm no different than anyone else and having all the attention on me can be a bit draining. (also follower alerts are my worst enemy, they suck.)
