- +Controlled Opposition __ The presence of inconsistencies is no more an indication an event is genuine than it is fabricated.
- However - one must wonder how certain "inconsistencies" can even arise in the first place. *Even you should be wondering about that*.
- How do you imagine a journalist writing an article about the kid who allegedly fell into the gorilla enclosure got the kid's age wrong?
- Did he ask some random person for the kid's age? Did he only for the kid's "birth year" and didn't factor in the possibility that the birth month having already elapsed?
- *How does a mistake like that even happen?* In 2016 - and after decades of professional journalism and protocols and best practices - it seems inconceivable that such a detail could be gotten wrong _*accidentally*_.
- But yet if such a simple detail *can be gotten wrong accidentally* _then why would you put any trust whatsoever in what else the news media had to report?_
- *If the news media cannot even get the age of a kid in a news story right then why would you ever take it seriously when it comes to other more complicated details?*
- Why haven't you concluded that the news media is simply too unreliable to waste time on due to its *_self-imposed_* pressures of a "24-hour news cycle"?
- What I see you doing is the same as what hoaxtards are doing. You are picking and choosing which details to accept from the news media. This is what makes you arbitrary.
- If you are going to accept some fact or detail from the news media *then you must be prepared to accept _all_ of the facts and details*. Why? Because to do otherwise is to be wholly arbitrary!
- And that's really the point. *How is it not the case that conflicting details (whether intentional or accidental) enable each audience member to "pick and choose" the story they want to be true*?
- Thus making it easier for each audience member to convince himself of his own pre-existing belief bias. Just like you have done.
- The audience is given a smorgasbord of conflicting details which are then arbitrarily picked at like an already stuffed fat person who is on his second hour at an all you can eat buffet.

- +Controlled Opposition __ With the gorilla enclosure incident - how do you suppose journalists managed to get the kid's age wrong? (I'm just generally curious.)
