APPEARANCE - At a glance, Charles is almost extraordinarily bland. Of average height and build with messy, straw coloured hair, green eyes and a few freckles across his face. He usually wears blue jeans with a t-shirt with a band logo, usually of a techno or electronic band. Depending on the weather he'll either wear a short sleeved shirt or a hooded zip-up jacket, usually black with some sort of bright or neon colour in simple stripes.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION - Pre-Manifestation, Charles would have considered himself a incredibly average person. He preformed well in school, never really found himself either shunned or in the amazingly popular cliques, and discovered his love of music rather early. His home life was rather different, his parents are both rather high-up researchers with the MCO, and due to that he saw probably less of them than most children would have, however this gave him a better relationship with his extend family as, when younger, he was always minded by an aunt, uncle or grandparent. He never really thought much about what work his parents did exactly, as far as he was told they just looked into what exactly caused 'mutation'.
However, once his manifestation happened everything changed. It came without any sort of warning in the middle of a class, near the end of the academic year. He was lucky to be facing away from other people when a couch blasted a hole in the wall to his left. Within minutes MCO operatives where at the school, and he was gone, brought into a secure facility. From then he has been kept in the facility, kept in a sound neutralising room, watching mutants come and go.
His most immediate goal is to just leave the facility. In the first few weeks he saw it just was he thought it would be, the people here had dangerous powers like his and needed help controlling them. However, over time he has seen people leave, never to return, and the treatment of some 'inmates' by the staff were not those of helpers. As well as this, he simply wants some normalcy. He knows his life will never be completely normal again but he would like to be able to talk without destroying the surroundings.
However, he knows that once he gets out, even if he can find his way into a mutant friendly community, he knows from the reaction of some of the mutants he has seen in the facility that if the knowledge of his parents ever comes out, he may find peoples reactions less than warm to him.

POWERS - *Initially* Charles power is his voice. Not in the 'super sonic scream' that most people think of with vocal powers. Almost any sounds that leave his mouth create a highly destructive blast wave. On his own, he has no control over his power, any sound of any volume creates the same level of immensely destructive power, his only real control being the duration of the blast. As far as he can tell the actual source of the blast seems to come from his vocal cords. His mutation has also seemingly given him an immunity to the effects of his own sonic attacks, and he has not yet discovered if he is immune to others.
*Development* Thanks to some divisor/gadgeteer friends, he has a specially designed headgear that completely absorbs the destructive power of his voice, allowing him to talk freely. The device connects to a set of gauntlets that allow him to still project the blast but a more controlled level.
*Fully developed* Even fully developed, Charles has no control over his power, if anything it has become more powerful over time. However he has discovered that he has a 'sound absorption' effect, being immune to any sound-based effects.

SKILLS - Charles is quite musically gifted, having a fair amount of technical knowledge for his age and also helped along by having the quite rare gift of Perfect Pitch.
- While he doesn't specialise in any instruments, he is very good at mixing music, and using turntables.
- He has a rather deep knowledge of musical history, while he only practices more electronic styles, he thinks it's important to know everything about his hobby.
-Post manifestation, he took great care learning American Sign Language, and can mostly keep himself from making any vocal noises.

PERSONALITY - Charles is a mostly nice boy. Like any teenager he has bouts of selfishness and a snarky attitude, but for the most part he tries to be friendly and pleasant.
He can be rather laid back, enough that some people would accuse him of not paying attention, but he is a rather attentive person. Despite this more laid back attitude, he can have quite a temper, though it is very hard to bring any angry reaction from him.
While he tries to be helpful, he can sometimes hold off from doing anything, not out of worry of looking bad, but thinking that there just might be some one better suited for the job, but if he is confident he acts with great enthusiasm.

WEAKNESSES - His most major weakness is also his power. The fact that he cannot control his powers is a constant worry to himself, he has seen just what he can do accidentally and is afraid of what may happen if he were to lose control...
As well as this, he is worried what people may think about his parents and if their, frankly, anti-mutant organisation will greatly affect how people react to him.
